Topsfield Commons Review

Just had a new years eve wedding here, and I would do it all over again at this venue. They were the most accommodating, everyone is so nice which is impossible to find these days, and gianna the wedding coordinator is an angel. Kristi, the owner is also super quick and responsive which I really appreciate. Shes more than willing to figure out how to make your day special for YOU. The day of my wedding wasn't exactly smooth, which I imagine is how most are - but she was PERFECT. The entire staff was wonderful, and they honestly are there to just make you and your spouse happy. We even extended the wedding an extra half hour (unplanned) because the party wasn't stopping, and nobody was sour about it. It was everything I had wanted, and so much more.

Our wedding was supposed to be at The Commons 1854 in November 2020, but the pandemic had other plans for us. I loved Commons from the minute we saw it on our venue tour, and it broke my heart to make the switch (we went to NH for our wedding with their fewer restrictions and the uncertainty in Mass). I am so happy that restrictions are soon to be gone in Mass. and this beautiful venue can continue doing what they do so well! The Commons will always hold a special place in my heart, and their staff is great!

What a fantastic experience, from beginning to end! The Commons 1854 team was detail oriented and well organized. They coordinated exceptionally well with the photographer, videographer, florist, and DJ. Leading up to the wedding, they were very flexible with changes we needed to make to be in line with ever changing regulations due to covid-19. They were always available and extremely professional.

This review is long overdue! We were married on a beautiful Saturday in August and our guests are still talking about how wonderful The Commons was. From the beautiful aesthetic, delicious food and incredible service, our special day was perfect. Beyond the day itself, our wedding planner Gianna was an absolute dream. She made the process so easy and enjoyable... we simply could not have done it without her. Gianna and the rest of the staff made our family comfortable for the entire year leading up and then the night of our wedding. Thank you for everything!!

It has been over two weeks and our guests are still talking about the wedding we hosted for our daughter on February 15. When planning a wedding one often thinks of the look of the event before thinking of where it should be held - In our case we wanted the venue first - I knew that we wanted to share one of events of my daughter and son in law's lifetime at The Commons. Everything else simply fell in place.

Our first visit with Gianna was incomparable, she was so detailed with the event, my daughter could really see how the event could come together and we were sold. The communication from that point on was amazing. The full team guided us through the planning process with the venue and gave us the most amazing incite on how the best practice was with ever question we had.

When we were planning the menu, Kristi and Frank took the time and consideration with us to make sure we had all of the bases covered and we could take care of every food preference we had question on. Even when we wanted a special recipe from a family member recreated for the meal - they took the recipe, tested it and perfected it - it meant so much to my family to have this incorporated into the meal of this celebration. The head Chef Frank, Jr and his crew made the most perfect meal for us to enjoy. It was scrumptious. Our family and guests raved about every delectable appetizer eaten, mouthwatering meal and delightful Gelato for dessert (it is a must)! In other words, our meal was perfect.

The day of the wedding, was the best - we did not need to worry about anything. All of the staff made sure ever detail of the day went better than we could of hoped for - it seemed as if they knew our every need, every care and concern was skillfully and professional just taken care of.

My husband and I are so thankful to Kristi, Gianna and the team of true professional event staff they have in place - we could of never pulled off this wedding with out their assistance.

Dear Future Couples, When trying to determine if you should have your wedding at The Commons , don't look at any further! The Commons is close by, nestled in a beautiful neighborhood with a beautiful gazebo in the commons right out front! (many places for photo ops the beautiful barn next door the water fall near the patio to mention a few) and the people who work there are incredible to work with. In particular, Gianna, Kristi and Paige, all of their staff are absolutely outstanding at their jobs! I mean this 100%! They are friendly, outgoing, professional, and always ready to help with whatever you may need from the first day you meet them until the day you have your wedding and there after! My husband and especially our parents could not be happier of the experience we had working with this vendor!

Our experience at the Commons was exceptional from planning until the day of the wedding. We plan the wedding during these uncertain times and the staff were very responsive and always available to us. They made the process so easy.. The venue is gorgeous.. the food was EXCELLENT even though we did not have a food tasting due to covid... until this day, the guests are still talking about the food. Everything was nothing but PERFECT for our special day. I will highly recommend them to all my friends.
