Always great service here. We get always get the fresh catfish.
Great food! Seafood is tasty with some kick to it. If you looking for raw fresh seafood, this is your place.
The best seafood market in the state of Louisiana, the best hot plate lunch in the state of Louisiana. Hands down no contest, nobody even comes close.
Good fresh food, you can get live fish at one end and cooked at other
I ask for sack of live crawfish in the low 30 lbs I got a 30 lbs of crawfish but the sack was only 3 quarter full so that means I got a sack of vary small crawfish will not buy from them again
When I visit home I go to Tony's Seafood for the best Cajun cuisine.
Awesome food and the servers are so friendly and helpful about the selections. Service is real fast even with social distances.
Everyone said this is the spot in Baton Rogue... got the boudin balls, gumbo, and crawfish.....man!! I will definitely order on line.
Awesome...always fresh items and also the prepared foods can't get enough. Ive ate there since I was around 4 years old and I'm 50 now. Love it
I ordered the ribs with broccoli and rice and baked beans and I must say everything was horrible!! The food here is definitely overrated!! I will not be going back until they get better cooks.
The hour drive to baton rouge was worth it Tony's didnt disapoint at all. The Po' boy was awesome. My wife got the seafood Tony and she was also very pleased.
I have always loved Tony's. I have yet to find a dish I don't like here or have seafood that wasn't fresh. The staff is friendly and fast.
Great place for fresh seafood and hot lunches. They also have a wide variety of meat and sausage. While you're there, pick up some dry ice. Like why not?
Very, very good food. Respectful staff. Plus MANY mouth watering hot ready to go meals in the deli and also in the freezer.
You definitely can't go wrong with the fresh selection here!
Tony's was everything I have ever been told and more. I instantly fell in love with this place while visiting Baton Rouge. I tried Boudain Balls for the very first time and they were crazy good. Their dessert section contained a wide variety to please everyone's taste. I tried several things; banana pudding, ooey gooey with pecans, regular ooey gooey, New Orleans cake, strawberry cake, sweet potato pie, and the German chocolate cake. All of it was sold by it the slice, so you dont have to worry about buying the entire dessert, although one bite and you will want to. If anybody has the recipe for Tony' seafood boudain ball, please tell me lol.
Stopped by for a local dinner spot. We got a couple hot plates. I got a few stuffed crabs . Some boudin balls. Both cajun and seafood. Also got a few different sausages to try. I have been looking for some alligator sausage. It looks great can't wait to grill it all. My kids loved seeing the live catfish. There were a few market items I wanted. No time no place . So next time for sure .
We are in Baton Rouge Louisiana, our favorite seasonings Tony's Louisians is made in the factory behind us. Friends who get there local cuisine here took us to show us, the line for the hot plate lunches was out the door, be patient and it is worth your time..ooh yeah!!!
Disappointed by the price premium on shrimp, especially after leaving New Orleans and stopping at Bayou Signet Tony's is a good bit more expensive. I'm guessing the gas it takes to get an hour up the river had to made up somewhere. This place still sales my favorite boudain balls I've been hooked since my college years.
We were lost. Couldn't understand their workers. One mumbled when he spoke. I would have bought more if I could have understood what he was saying. We tried to cheer the cashier up by making conversation, but she was down.
They. Tags showed different. Prices than the register shoeed
One staff member on the assembly line attitude was poor. Other than that, my experience was Great!
This place has caught wind to tourists everywhere! When we went six years ago, the food was great which is why we came back but the prices have been raised drastically as we spent over $100 for food. The macaroni and cheese was bland and the servers were not willing to discuss what was in a meal. We had to go back in line to get more items missed and the servers got an attitude about it. The atmosphere, however was still nice as you could smell the sea when you walked in and they have a great selection of raw seafood. I wish we would have just bought the fresh catch and cooked it ourselves. If you go, know exactly what you want to eat- don't buy refreshments or chips and stop by the fresh seafood and take some home to prepare later unless you want lobster- they were jumping!
Love Tony's. Great seafood, great hot plates. It is a must visit any time we are in Baton Rouge!
Great variety and good prices. Staff were helpful and polite. AMAZING quality seafood.
Been the best seafood place in Baton Rouge for many many years.
The fish was great but the red beans were overly seasoned with pepper couldn't enjoy the broccoli rice and cheese wasn't good at all green beans were fine
Such an amazing experience for an out of towner. Seafood that goes straight from the water to the butcher to the fryer to your plate all in one place! So awesome! Best catfish I've had in my mouth EVER.
Employees on line with cook food is so rude and disrepectful. I wonder what the leaders and supervisor are like
Fried Turkey from Tony's was outstanding. The hot line always has a wonderful selection of Louisiana favorites. Some of the absolute best prices for fresh seafood in Baton Rouge.
Food was not good cold will not go back there ever thanks but no thanks very poor customer service skills
A LARGE bar of down home cooked food dee- lish -us . If they dont have something you like. Buy ya a poptart and call it a day
So awesome, best hot food I ever bought. There is everything there fresh seafood, hot seafood.
It is a must see and buy some hot food and frozen food to go.
If you want great prepared food or the freshest catfish in town, this is your place.
When I tell you the boudin is good...believe me, the boudin is real good!
Fast deli line, great service, the potato salad with the baked catfish.. with a side of broccoli rice and cheese. Tony's I will make it my business to come to you weekly if not daily. Money well spent!!!
This is the best place to eat/ shop in Baton Rouge. The food is a mix of soul food and Creole. Thats an automatic winner right there. And if you want to cook it yourself you can do that to. AMAZING!!!
Service was friendly. Food was good. Everyone had on masks (except one white guy with the face shield). Why Sir?
Boiled corn wasn't fresh and customer service could be better.
They plate size was amazing they put enough food on the plate but I wish they added sugar to their cornbread and a little more seasoning to the food but other than that it was exceptional.
Food is always good. Had to get fresh fish. Must say getting pricey. But still clean and fresh
My order that was shipped to my house in Memphis, TN. was fast and correct. I was satisfied with everything accept the 30oz Oysters and the destination the Oysters came from Irvington, Al. I expected the Oysters to come from the Louisiana Coast. The taste was terrible and size was like popcorn shrimp. I will never buy Oysters from Tony's Seafood in Baton Rouge, Louisiana again!
The food is always good at Tony's every time I'm in baton rouge Louisiana I have to stop in Tony's for some food.
This one of my favorite places to grab something to eat on the buffet line. Best Seafood Tray I've ever seen! This is the best. Everything was fresh and delicious. My first time ordering from them. I will definitely order again! The food is always consistent and delicious.
Awesome place for seafood we come all the way from Arkansas to get it at Tony's my daughter won't eat seafood from any other place
I only got a fried Turkey wing and cajun balls. But it was pretty good.
Always great..fresh off the line(literally)..can't get any fresher, unless you're fishing yourself..lol..
Southern hospitality at it's finest..friendly faces/superb service..my first stop when I come to town..enjoy
The fresh fried catfish is what up at Tony's. It's a must try. You won't be disappointed. And the prices are affordable. The fried catfish was hot fresh crispy 2 large pieces and I had mac n cheese and broccoli rice. All I can say is Go try it...you gonna Love that food. I purchased several pounds of fresh whole and some fillets so i can fry at home. Friendly service and great prices!
This place is a staple for anything Cajun your palate desires. If they don't cook it, they sell.what you need to make it. From fresh alligator (even whole gators - see my pics) to boiled seafood to the best cajun and soul food that would make yo momma proud, this place delivers and I feel happy when I walk through the doors.
I picked the fried catfish plate with dirty rice and mac n cheese. The fish was way to salty I couldnt even eat it all. I love food that is seasoned well, but that was over the top. On the flip side, the mac n cheese had no flavor at all and was soupy. The only thing that was cooked right was the dirty rice. I picked the baked chicken for my daughter. That was cooked perfectly and seasoned right, very good.
A family favorite! I drive from the other side of town for the boudin. I've never had a bad plate or meal. Some times lines can be LONG! Make sure if you're just going for boudin you bypass the food line and go to the second one.
Love this place whenever I come to town to visit family. No complaints. Fresh fish is excellent. Cooked food is wonderful when I don't want to cook. Cashiers get you checked out fast and efficient..
They have great food there come and get your lunch.
Always love here when in the area for a great plate lunch. Fish, Mac and cheese, with mashed potatoes is my go to always taste the same..... Great! Can't forget to get some of the Cajun boudin balls.
Always fast service at Tony's. The prices are a bit higher than what I like to pay and the boiled seafood is hit & miss sometimes.
Otherwise, it's still a great place. Everything is "to go," you can't eat at Tony's. If you're getting a plate lunch from the deli - even if that line is LOOOOONG, it goes VERY quickly.
I think the longest I've been in that line is maybe 8-10 minutes and it was backed up to the cash registers (once you're in the store, you'll see that is a LONG way).
The best place for fresh seafood and prepared hot fresh seafood and Po-boys!! Also they have Fresh Drum Fish
Delicious fish plate with mash potatoes and green beans or greens is what I always get
Needs more security presence, inside as well as outside.
Large variety of fresh seafood!
Ample amount of employees so there's never a wait. Hot food line is a bit bland.
Boudain balls. Drove 20 min out of my way and don't regret at all. Might need a nap, but delicious.
The COOLEST seafood market! They ve got all types of fresh options to choose from. They even have a live catfish feature inside - so cool! All the workers are very friendly and accommodating as well. Even if you don t buy anything, it is definitely worth stopping in!
Awesome experience and food is amazing and its a great price.
So much to chose from. Excellent raw and cooked food. Friendly staff very clean establishment. No long lines at checkout. Always have foods in season and for all tastes. The Best
All I can say is I'm addicted to Tony's Seafood! Their prices are reasonable, the food is GREAT, and I'm trying to limit my visits but it's impossible.
I go here like too times a mo good seafood best boudin links in town
Good food, quick service not rushed and curious and polite
Very helpful staff. My mother shopped at Tony's when the business first opened in the late 1960's. Buying fresh seafood from Tony's became a family tradition that has lasted over 40 years thus far. The quality and taste of the deli food can not be beat either..
Long line food was good the chicken not as juicy on my previous visit
Fresh food. I like that they sell fresh oysters, they have them in the shell. It's $11 for 16 oz.
Excellent place.
Love bringing some cajun goodies back to Wisconsin whenever we get down to
Louisiana
Crawfish balls was Amazing.
First time try them.
The worker are Nice and Helpful.
I heard about this place last July when I was down for a turnaround in the refinery. Everyone always said go eat at Tony s best food around. I was working nights and I never did try it then. I m back in Baton Rouge for another turnaround and I had time to go try it, twice now haha. It is pretty darn good I was pretty impressed. Coming from Kansas where there is no seafood place like Tony s I thought the price was a bit high but the old saying you pay for what you get is so true in this matter. Like I said I come from Kansas, lol. The first time I bought the ribs, rice, beans and corn bread....AMAZING. All of it. Second time was late supper so I went all out and bought the whole catfish, mashed potatoes, corn, shrimp, shrimp gumbo with a bed of rice and I forgot what the dessert was called but it was all good. Price for all that was $30. Well worth it. The place itself was pretty cool it is a seafood market and a small grocery store you could say. I enjoyed the experience there. I will definitely be going back to try other things before I head back home.
Best catfish in the World! Either buy it fresh from the fish counter or go through the deli line and get some fried to eat new. Tonys has everything you need to cook seafood or to go with a family dinner take out. My relatives enjoy the treat of tonys.
