This place is like no other place I've EVER seen when it comes to seafood. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that you can think of they carry. They will even package it in dry ice so you can take it home with you if you are from out of town. I think you can also get them to ship it to you by ordering online, but I need to double check that.
They also have a seafood deli but you can get BBQ there too. Took my family to Southern University Homecoming game and my wife, who is a seafood junkie by the way lol, lost her mind when she saw everything they offered. I thought I was going to have to hit her over the head and drag her out caveman style just to get her out of the place. Lol
All kidding aside, this is a seafood lovers paradise and I HIGHLY recommend you visit. Enjoy.

Passing through on a family road trip. Tony's will now be what we all think of when we see the name Baton Rouge, and a smiley will come with that memory. Ohhh Gawd I wish we all had a place like this in our home towns. Super fresh, fun friendly staff, choices choices and more choices.... Got the gumbo, catfish Po'boy and a muffalitta (sp?). Also picked up some dry goods and drinks, took it all back to the car and pigged out in style. Lots of sea food in the gumbo, Po'boy had tons of fresh catfish cooked to perfection, it was a juicy sandwich, not a Dry'boy!
The muffawhatchumacallit was awesome, always wanted to try one and we all loved it, the olives really came through with the meat and cheese. Thanks Tony et.al!

Louisiana institution for fresh fish and seafood to cook as well all kinds of hot food preparations. The after-church crowd had the place packed Sunday afternoon. They have security directing traffic and making sure parking is smooth. Even though it is 40+years old, the place runs a thriving business and prices are very competitive. I went to purchase stuff for gumbo to have on hand for next week. It will be cleaned and frozen for when ready to cook. The Louisiana tradition of gumbo for or after Thanksgiving. Ours will be after the traditional meal, later on during the weekend. A treat for out-of-town family!!

Quality, excellent service, prices a little bit high but this is justified by the quality they provide. You buy you food and go, so there is no tables. When it comes to good seafood, this place is a must.

Everthing looked great and smelled wonderful. I tried a crawfish pie, got some jambalaya and picked up some gumbo. After eating the gumbo for 5 min i stopped earinf my meal and went directly back in the store and picked up 2 quarts to take back to Houston with me. I pass through Baton Rouge on my way to see family im Ms and ill definitely be stopping here from now on during my trips. The only thing i dislike is the fact i have to travel 4 hrs to get some more. My hats off to the owner, cooks and servers!

Stopped by to get some fresh catfish fillets, fish fry, and cooking oil. The cooking oil is priced above market value so I opted not to purchase it here. But while on that aisle I noticed frozen ears of corn for just 2 bucks! Had to get em! Fast check-out and friendly service.

The crawfish are super fresh and huge size. The people there are super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately they do not have tables to eat in the shop for travellers like us. Anyway there is a park nearby where you can find tables. In summer probably is going to be too hot outside.

Friend who knows his food brought me here. I had always heard about how great it was but somehow had never visited. Grew up in Cajun Country and LSU'03.
Expect a line (usually a good sign of delicious food) that runs smoothly. The employees serving the hot food options seemed on point and in good spirits.

I was immensely underwhelmed by the Crawfish Etouffee and the greens. The beans were the best of my order since the boudin link I ordered, at the beginning of the serving line and at the end of the serving line, never made it into my bag. So, I won't be returning for the line OR my missing Boudin Link.

This is the best seafood market I have been too. Always stop there when in town from St. Louis. Just got back from another trip to Baton Rogue and came at end of Crawfish season could not get any but plenty of other great fish. The staff there is so friendly and helpful. This has become a permanent stop when we are in town. Look forward to the next time down there.

There is such a variety of fresh seafood; cooked and raw at Tony's. Everything you need to prepare a seafood feast can be purchased in this one location. If you don't want to cook, you can order complete balanced meals, of many choices. If you are a lover of seafood, this is a great place to start.

Great place to get frozen or hot seafood! The hot food line was wrapped around, the whole place poppin! Love getting to watch them pick your catfish, kill it, and skin it right there in front of you, you know it s fresh fish! For being a seafood market, the place was very clean and many staff members were continuously walking around picking up and helping with anything you need. Best seafood market in town by far! Love coming with the whole family for the atmosphere is great!

I usually visit this restaurant at least once when I'm in town and the workers in the hot plate area are always so unpleasant to the point of being downright rude. It's sad because I love the food there, but I may have to stop visiting.

All I can say is WOW!! The food is delicious!! The shrimp, fish, gumbo, ribs, and all the sides were just delicious. Fresh and well seasoned, but not salty. Definitely recommend this place. Good eats. Also, there is a fresh marketplace to buy fresh seafood. Friendly staff, contrary to other reviews. I was treated very nice and I asked a lot of questions about the food. They were very patient with me. Definitely a nice visit. I highly recommend it.

If you go to Baton Rouge you should go to Tony's. Louisiana's largest seafood market and with a large selection of fresh seafood items and live catfish. The deli line is great, and set up to let you see and pick from an abundance of sides and appetizers. They will cook your seafood to order to add to the plate. Fresh and hot. Many spicy items perfectly seasoned and regional specialties like crawfish or shrimp balls, boudin etc. Also seafood grocery area where you can pick out all kind of breadings, condiments, etc and a cold case with various items such as coleslaw, potato salad, banana pudding, etc to round out your meal. Very popular. The only drawback is that there is no dining or sit down space onsite so you are going to have to eat in your car or drive to a picnic area.

Excellent food! Parking just downright SUCKS and is (for a better word) dangerous and too small to handle the amount of people. CALL IN your order! Huge line for deli! Is it worth it? Heck yeah!
