In a small group of 4 we visited the winery with tasting. The visit was carried out with Claudia, very courteous, professional and passionate about her work, she transmits her skills very easily, putting visitors at ease and enhancing even more a prestigious winery such as Tommasi. Excellent value for money of the visit. High quality wines.
Among the many names of Valpolicella this still has a good value for money. Personally I always find their "crearo" excellent when I'm in the area I never fail to take a box. Even without booking you can taste some wine for the purpose of purchase. By booking they do more structured tastings for a fee.

Immersed in the heart of Valpolicella and followed by staff, Mats, prepared, very courteous and friendly, we enter the heart of the Tommasi winery, winemakers for over a hundred years, since 1902. A passion that has managed to remain in the family, an important value that today in Italy is hard to keep. Order, cleanliness and class reign supreme in the silences and corridors. The aromas of the wood of the barrels, from the small Barriques to the Magnifica. The biggest night in the world with its 33,000 liters of red nectar. The tranquility and the slow passage of time make it clear how much strength one must have to produce a wine of this class and importance. Thank you for letting us spend a few hours in your company. Thank you for allowing us to have a tasting of your local products. Not only your wonderful wines but also the cold cuts and cheeses of your neighbors who, like you, focus on the quality and value of the territory! We will definitely come back to buy your products again and try the remaining grapes of all your estates. Simply THANK YOU!

They explain to you how the tommasi winery was born from 1902 to today where they are also investing heavily in various regions of Italy, the latest addition to the tommasi family, the amarone de bvris certainly not a wine for all wallets but it is a spectacular thing for those who is a lover of amarone I tried a glass in the cellar.
Before the tasting we visited the cellar where there are all the barrels including the 33000 liter Guinness world records one, beautiful, but honestly the thing that really amazed me is the GREAT CLEANING that is there.

We have been to Tommasi many times - this time the visit was unusually disappointing. No customer was welcomed, brief announcement that you could try a maximum of 2 wines ... and the amount to be tasted was half a sip. Too bad, make good wines - albeit a good price now. We will not come back for the time being. Not a good experience.
The shop inside the company is well cared for and has a large parking lot (the entrance is on the left side of the building opposite the entrance gate). The wines are great and the staff knows very well describe the characteristics to guide the choice. There is no minimum number of bottles to buy. You can also pay with cards.

Incredible experience at Tommasi. Could not be more thankful to Matt and the staff for a once-in-a-lifetime tour and tasting. Came to Verona for Amarone, and could not have left happier... a must-do for wine lovers.
After telephone contact it turned out that the wine shop was not open .. unfortunately we drove for nothing.
Very good winery. Special wines there are the Crearo, Ripasso and the Amarone. This is just a small selection of the wines that I particularly remember. The grappi are also fantastic. Not cheap, but the highest quality.

We tried to book a tour and visit over the phone, but the woman answering the phone did not put in any effort to speak english to us, and only answered no. Full three times, even after we asked for a different time/date. There are numerous amazing wineries in the region that do enjoy welcoming guests, so don t waste your time with this one.

Tommasi shop is very beautiful and modern. Wines are presented by region of cultivation. A tasting area in the form of a bar counter and separate tables. Wines of great taste and quality, but not all can be tasted. Wine tasting is available for groups. I enclose the prices and conditions in the photo.

The tasting included the tasting of 4 wines: a lugana, a superior classic Valpolicella, a ripasso and the amarone. All accompanied by good cold cuts and cheeses.

Almost excellent, today I tasted the Ripasso 2017 wine the wine deserves, unfortunately they sin in the cork. A wine of the genene should be corked with a natural product such as cork not a petroleum derivative like the silicone cork you use
I cannot share the complaints from the previous comments. We had a very detailed tasting and got a free tour through the amazing cellars on top.
I fully understand charging for the tasting if people just come to drink and don't buy anything.

More indifferent staff one must look for long. We visited this wine shop on our wine tour around the area. 3 tastings for free. But they did remove our glasses after our second tasting. While my wife and I were standing by the bottles talking about what wine we should try as # 3 and how much we should buy, etc. After our visit here, I must say that I lost everything to Tommasi. And Tommasi will be the only wine I would never buy.
