I have friends that live here. I was very very impressed. It is extremely large gated community with plenty of land and grounds to just hang out at. The properties or a little bit on the expensive side but how much is it worth to be safe. Worth every penny of what it would cost to live here. If I ever had the chance I would move in here. Five stars all the way.
This whole complex is gated with a manned guard house at the main entrance. It can get confusing if you have not been here before and are looking for an apartment or townhouse. It is well lit and clean in the area.

Family and pet-friendly, U-Penn right across the river bridge, steps to riverside walk, swimming pool, gym, rotunda/library, big lawn, parking, walk path, plenty of great restaurant around. The best place to live in Philly.
Well maintained gated community with a park....in center city. Everything to like!!
I use to repair the phone system when it was the Naval Home on the grounds. I wonder if the old tunnels are still there that go building to building ? 1956 to late 1960.

Living in the Naval Square community is a win .
