TnT Tacos and Tequila Review

Went for brunch twice. Both times were equally amazing. I definitely recommend. Remember everyone is different what I love you might just like go get some mimosas waffles and guacamole and dance to the bomb DJ.

Awesome lil place! As soon as we got seated we got a trio of dips and a combination of regular tortilla chips and sweet potato chips. I personally ordered a regular beef taco and pulled BBQ pork taco with kimchee on top and they were A1, especially the pulled pork! Unfortunately the Mac and cheese was a little cold which is why I gave a 4 star, but it was still good! Of course I got tequila too, and they have a pretty good selection.

The food tasted as if it was made since the morning. Very bland, not good Mexican food. Service was good and atmosphere was fun during a college football game. Goo for drinks and football but not for food.

didn t realize they had something going on on sundays.... walked over there to get dinner and the upstairs and downstairs is blaring rap music and it appears they were only offering the taco bar? Extremely uninviting atmosphere for a Sunday at 6 pm. Wish they would advertise this somewhere on their website so we wouldn t have wasted time going over there. We immediately left.

Friendly and quick service. Serving vs cost ratio was impressive. Fresh. I highly recommend this place to any taco lovers out there.

Nice place in the Uptown Dallas Area. Nice atmosphere, Great Place to meet friends after work. Younger professional crowd.

i went there with my friends. the atmosphere is really nice, but very busy. the tacos tasted really good reminded me sort of like Torchy's Tacos. staff was okay not very attentive which makes sense because it was busy. the music they play is great to. theres a patio section but i think they charge when its really late.

Taco Tuesday was the best! Happy hour was even greater. Love the tacos here

The food is good but the drinks are inconsistent (not good when tequila is in your name). Also, PLEASE get rid of the Happy Hour DJ...

Not sure why it took me so long to come hang here. Great food. Great service. The waiter was efficient and knew the menu well.
Tacos was so good. Had the steak and the shrimp.

I can t even begin to explain how disappointed I was with this place. Long story short, the server forgot about us when we first sat down and didn t bring our drinks. I will say she did apologize. Then we ordered the nachos for appetizer, the pull pork tacos, the steak taco, the chicken power bowl, the Mac n cheese and the corn.

EVERYTHING was cold! Except the power bowl. I couldn t understand how that s even possible. Also the Mac n cheese was not cheesy or tasty in any shape way or form. The server touched it and agreed it looks weird and is cold and doesn t usually look like this.

The only reason for this one star is because the server pretty much admitted to them messing up everything. I still believed she could of had a manager come by and try to rectify the problem, but that didn t happen.

I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews and it wasn t even average.

Was seated upstairs for a party of 8 and they only had 1 food server on a Saturday night to serve the entire floor of people. This caused for an over 2.5 hour night to get food and drinks. The burrito tasted pre-made and was not warm. I can only figure it sat out for awhile when the other food orders were being cooked. I could've bought Chipotle for half the price and it would've been fresher.

My gf ordered the corn crusted chicken tacos. Please do not order them. They were extremely dry and to me tasted like they were frozen and tossed in the deep fryer to cook which left me needing to drink water when I tried her food. Also, all the drinks (even water) upstairs are served in plastic cups like the ones served at old college bars. Not impressed by this place at all and will not return.

Stopped for a quick cocktail and some relaxation. That's exactly what I received....YAY!!! My server Zair was AWESOME....real chill, polite and easy going. The chips and salsa was different I found some hidden fried or baked sweet potato chips mixed in with the tortilla chips. NICE TOUCH!!! My margarita was mango frozen which was OUTSTANDING for a machine mixture. Now this music floating out of the speakers...HELL YASSS HUNTIE!!! I'll come back simply on the strength that the music was LITTY CITY. Glad I slide in here to wait out traffic.

Finest place to get food when in a rush. Their customer service is efficient, prices are affordable, awesome ambience. Keep up the good work

We had a party of 30 and everything went off without a hitch or glitch! The food was ABSOLUTELY outstanding!! Best Cuban black beans I have ever tasted! Love this place!! 1st timer and I'll be back!!

We came for my 21st birthday. We made a reservation for 8, but they did not have a normal table for us and made us sit at the "community table" on barstools instead of chairs. But, in their defense, they were accommodating and moved us to a real table as soon as they were able to. This is the best thing that could be said about the restaurant. The experience got even worse from there. The food was terrible, and 3 of our orders were switched and/or completely messed up. When they "fixed" my order after accidentally giving me a veggie wrap instead of a buffalo chicken wrap, they brought out a buffalo wrap but forgot to put buffalo sauce on it. They remedied this by just giving me a side of buffalo sauce because apparently that is the same thing. Then, at the end of the night, after being in the restaurant for over TWO HOURS (without ever having a refill on waters ??), the waitress took a full THIRTY-FIVE minutes to separate and bring us our checks, but they were not even correct so she had to go back and fix this after taking a full thirty-five minutes at the register to print them out. This could be excused if they had been busy, but we were her ONLY table and the restaurant was pretty dead. Would give 0 stars if it were possible.

Sat at the bar with one other couple. Food was very good but service was poor. We were given menus but were taken away once we ordered drinks. Had to ask for menus and was given one. Had to ask another server for menu questions (whom was very helpful!) while the bartender was standing there and we could not get his attention. When our friends, my wife and I ordered appetizers had to ask for silverware and plates. Were only given 3 plates between four of us. The food was very pleasant but didnt stay past appetizers. If you're visiting get a table!

For my first time experience this place SUCKED!!!!! bad service they kept bringing our food cold, we would constantly have to remind the server to bring us water, napkins etc. they booked us for a reservation and when we arrived they did not have us on the list of reservations party. WIll never go there again!!!

Good food, good service. We had a large group and the staff kept up well. Nice atmosphere in the Uptown area of Dallas.

Recently visited TNT during happy hour. The food was delicious and the service was great. The parking is located in the parking garage a tiny bit away but it s not to bad. Overall great experience and I would recommend this place!

Taco Tuesday is where it's at. $10 all you can eat tacos is a no brainer. Really good food.

First off, let me say that there can be a bit of a wait and it can get a little pricey, but come on, it's uptown!
The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Went for brunch and would not go back again. Staff was unprofessional including the manager. At one point was told things are chaotic right now and we will get our water and drinks whenever they have clean glasses. There are definitely better alternatives.

Great happy hour deals. Interesting twist on some classic tacos. Highly recommend the steak poblano taco as it comes with queso in it.

The ambient is nice. The brunch is also tasty. Different options and the fruit is fresh.

Food was decent and I loved the different chips and dip options, but the service was pretty terrible. It took forever to get anything. We had to hunt for the waitress every time we wanted to order or ask for anything and the place wasn't even busy.

Food would have been good had we gotten it. Bartending service was good. We waiting 45 min to be seated which was expected for a Saturday night. Once seated it took 20 min for a waiter to get our drink orders. Another 20 for queso. We didn't order until we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours. By that time we were sick of the horrible service and left.

Last time I was there the food and drink were excellent, the wait was only slightly better.

For a place calling themselves tacos and tequila, I was disappointed at the lack of a tequila list and hardly any mezcals. I'm fact the tacos were just good. Considering they're a taco restaurant, I was expecting great tacos instead the great tacos are in East Dallas or Oakcliff.

Very disappointing that it's a regular resto-bar with a Mexican theme but not the Mexican high quality.

I had an amazing time! The food was amazing, you have to try the wicked wings so delicious! & omgggg the drinks are nice and strong, just like I like them, I had the mexican mule . The service was great & they were very quick bringing us our food as well, I would definitely go back & recommend!!!

Worst experience at brunch ever! Wait staff was incompetent and rude. The woman at the omelette bar actively ignored us, we could not order drinks because the waiter was never around. When I asked about plates to return to the buffet I was initially handed a single plate for a table of three. The plate was dirty, when I complained they put a huge stack of plates on the table. I guess to signify we were a burden. They cannot blame being busy as there was only us and one other table of people in the whole place. I felt active distain from every person there. We were so uncomfortable, I paid the $71.68 bill and got out of there. I will never go back. I have had way better service at Dennys.

Service at this place sucks! We waited 15 minutes before someone came and placed chips/salsa and some waters on our table and said "someone will be with you in a bit". Another 10 minutes went by and nobody ever came by. It wasn't even busy. There must have been about 8 customers in the entire establishment with 30 servers doing absolutely nothing, but talking and laughing. One of them was even putting makeup on.
If nobody was on the clock the very least the bartender could've done was take our drink order since he went to the table right next to the bar and served them drinks..mind you they got there after us. I guess we were sat "too far" for him to walk 5 more steps our way. Needless to say we got up and left. Don't think anybody tried to stop us and ask us anything the bartender pretty much watched us leave. I'm glad we left, we went to another restaurant where the service was above and beyond. Too bad I can't say the same for this place.

This place is so annoying. If you re going to host private parties ALL THE TIME, then maybe consider expanding to a bigger location so that you have a space for that. Shutting down your entire restaurant for hours at a time on weekends and during Happy Hour on Friday nights is irritating and discouraging to patrons who have traveled to be there. Twice in a row, this was the case when my husband and I visited. The first time, we had to eat on the roof because the entire downstairs was closed when it was cold out. The food was very good, but your hours and availability for service are unpredictable, and for that I won t be back.

Great new addition to the Quadrangle and the neighborhood. Food was creative and tasty. Drinks are really good as well.

The upstairs patio is really well done.

While it just opened - I have no doubt this place will become a fixture in the Uptown community.

Good food but horribly managed. I took some friends here when they were in town visiting and it was a disaster. There was a guest at the door pretending to check IDs, there was no host and we waited 10+ min to be seated. During that time we noticed guests had basically a free-for-all on the patio, smoking weed and drinking and sitting on tables, etc. Inside, it smelled a little bit like someone had thrown up, which made sense because guests were out of control. We finally went up to the bartender (literally the ONLY person we saw working) who told us we could sit anywhere but at that point we decided to just leave because we were very uncomfortable and didn t want to wait another 10 minutes for a server to appear out of thin air. It was honestly one of the strangest situations I have ever been in. Disappointing because their food really is good but I will not be wasting my time going back.

Great vibe on Sunday, it's like a Saturday night on a Sunday afternoon!!
