Like this store, some good discounted goods for xmas

Basically a store full of tat. There are some reasonable purchases to be had here but the floor space is crowded and a lot of the stuff isn't worth buying anyway.

I used to love this store when it was in Oldham, so I was delighted to find one still going in Bury. Some of the prices were much higher than I remembered but there were still plenty of bargains. Staff were polite and helpful.

Really good value. Got the best electric kettle ever

Was ok just in danger of becoming a bit of a jumble sale.

Some products are overpriced and the staff were quite dismissive. Better bargains are to be had elsewhere...

It stocks A LOT of products, it is hit & miss but the luggage they stock is great !! I've bought a lot of pieces from here.
The downside... it's VERY tired looking and a little grubby.

OK store. Piles em high and sells em cheap. Also lots of good clothing and homeware. Good value.

Used to be ok here but it's gone from bad to worse. Stuff all over the place. Reminds me of a manic car boot sale

Yesterday 20th "approximately" 2pm

Dear oh dear, what the heck has happened to customer service this great store once had?.
Purchased 4 packs of pillowcases, packaging says approx 50cm, I have 50cm width box pillows so thought my purchase in store would be just the job.
NO NO NO NO, anything but 50cm. One pack 48cm another 54cm one at 57cm and 59cm. Couldn't use any of them and to make matters worse TJHughes refused to make refund due to their hygiene policy!!
Enquiring as to where there are notices on display which inform non returns of pillowcases, smugly turning over my till receipt to point out my stupidity, this surly assistant referred to the packaging description "approximate"
Not that they were INCORRECTLY SIZED!.
Spending several minutes of explaining they were not made to fit, I realised I couldn't beat a robot and decided an animal charity shop would find a real good use for them as pet bedding.
I shan't be spending any more of my money in this store any time soon.

Good sale on at the moment, staff are very friendly and helpful too.

The staff is incredibly disrespectful and unhelpful. I buyed a radiator and asked for return since it wasn't doing its job and they decided to keep me waiting for 15 mins and ended up calling me a fake for faking the reason. Incredibly disappointed

Good selection of varied stock .on hardware you can get a bag and fill from screws bold nuts washers for a very good price.

Use too be cheap said uptoo 80% off but never seen anything more than 50% off

Decent range of luggage, bedding & electricals & household items. Some good bargains but a lot comparable with places like outlets.

It's a TJ Hughes. You know what to expect unless you've been living in the Amazon for quite a while.

Lots to look at not price very well worth looking in if you want a bargain

Good variety and price only downside is if things categorised more properly.
