Dear oh dear, what the heck has happened to customer service this great store once had?.
Purchased 4 packs of pillowcases, packaging says approx 50cm, I have 50cm width box pillows so thought my purchase in store would be just the job.
NO NO NO NO, anything but 50cm. One pack 48cm another 54cm one at 57cm and 59cm. Couldn't use any of them and to make matters worse TJHughes refused to make refund due to their hygiene policy!!
Enquiring as to where there are notices on display which inform non returns of pillowcases, smugly turning over my till receipt to point out my stupidity, this surly assistant referred to the packaging description "approximate"
Not that they were INCORRECTLY SIZED!.
Spending several minutes of explaining they were not made to fit, I realised I couldn't beat a robot and decided an animal charity shop would find a real good use for them as pet bedding.
I shan't be spending any more of my money in this store any time soon.
