TJ HUGHES, SALFORD Review

Needs redesigning,not a nice feeling about it. Very dark and no organisation.

Packed downstairs especially at the weekend with loads of cheaper clothes. Upstairs has all the home stuff with duvets, towels lots of kitchen electrical and bathroom stuff and loads of cushions. Store has a lift and OK cafe and toilets.

Always lots of interesting things.
Had a meal in the cafe and top class as always.
Excellent value on fragrances and toys

Good range of products. However the garden sections is now a lot smaller than it was and didn't have a wide selection to choose from. The homeware section upstairs is good though.

Good household dept. Clothes dept. Is muddled. Good perfume section.

Good range of clothes and the staff were very friendly and chatty and helpful first class store

Large department store selling a range of goods including mens, women's and children's clothes and shoes, perfumes.

Went for bedding, duvet, pillows etc. and there was plenty of choice all reasonably priced and good quality. Had a quick look round the store and there's a very good selection of everything you might need for the home

Good prices and cafe is good but staff are lacking motivation and just generally take forever to serve 1 person 1 item. If you want to buy anything from the upstairs counter you need at least 25 minutes extra time

Large range of stock, but some of it can be a little pricy.

From an anchor to a needle,and more. Great shop,great prices and good staff. What more can you say. A huge shop with small prices. I was amazed at the veriety of items they were selling,jeans lots of them ,all different kinds and unbelievable low price. If you've never been,go,see for yourself. Perhaps no designer labels but who cares.

I went in the Bury store today and there was a member of staff that helped me out with curtains she was so so helpful her name was Lindsay I would really like to say a massive thank you to her she was so polite and professional 5 stars my mark

Nice selection of various items. Very polite staff. Is difficult getting a pram toy d certain sections and could be laid out more strategically.

The cafe upstairs is lovely, serves well priced food and is perfect for a little pit stop while shopping.

Excellent shop for bargains especially during sales.

A big shop with a diversity of stuff. It's an OK place

Some good bargains in here. Was shocked to see some leading brand cosmetics at less than half price which my sister loved. I am not one for looking for bargains but this place made me think I should. Cleanliness is a must for me in any store and this place failed. Some shelves had not been cleaned for what looked like years and there was makeup and all sorts that were damaged and leaking on the shelves which had dried up. Staff seemed happy which is always positive especially as I mostly do shopping online due to the misery of some stores.

This shop is ok but I found the building to ge very dark and cold. Their branch in St Helens Is light and welcoming

Cafe very good. Food well cooked, very reasonably priced and staff very polite

If they have what you need the price is usually right

go to this store in Oldham and Bury lots of bargains to be had

Excellent shop. Plenty of discounted goods including clothes. Nice cafe with 20%off for pensioners Tuesday's and Thursdays.

I like t j Hughes and now in the Bury store they have a lovely cafe

I love shopping here, it's full of bargains and deals. I always come back with 30 times the stuff I was planning to purchase! It's a pity I can only order online in London. I would love to have one here.

Had some nice things from here sell a good variety of clothing shoes household garden furniture suitcases etc perfume is very good price worth popping in

Clothes that are in the reduced part with a reduced sticker on are not reduced. Do not believe every offer you see as you will get rudely told that it is not that price and that a member of staff priced it wrong

I like to buy stuff from here, but one of the checkout operators upstairs is miserable with a face like an old trout. Puts me off buying from upstairs, so shop on the net now instead or go another town
