Visited at an event. It is a place without complaints. Please take a walk in the garden.
The garden is "open whenever Happoen is open". On the day I visited the garden, the staff asked me the day before, "I will open it at 5:00 am in preparation for the event." It is important to confirm that the garden is open outside of common sense.

The garden is wonderful.
I didn't know where to wash my hands, so I just stopped and looked left and right, and the staff quickly followed me. That kind of hospitality is even more wonderful.

At this time, the cherry blossoms were very beautiful and matched well with the atmosphere of the garden. I was invited to a wedding but it was very nice.

We were referred to the Happo-en by my concierge at the Sheraton Miyako Tokyo Hotel initially to attend a traditional tea ceremony. A small group and myself later attended a dinner at the Happo-en. We toured the grounds and dressed in traditional attire. Ms. Soko Yanai and her team, from the beginning offered the highest level of quality, professionalism, and made us feel very welcomed.

The true enchantment of this place goes well beyond it's traditional tea house, beautiful garden with cherry blossoms, priceless bonsai trees, great coffee, perfect ambiance, delicious cuisine, amazing art and the traditional experience they offer. It is the result of the hard working people that make this place a reality with an unsurpassed level of customer service that you can experience only here.

Enju and his team prepared an amazing multiple-course meal for my group, by far the best we had in Japan. The level of precision associated with the presentation, customer service, sake pairings, texture/taste, the ambiance, food selections, dessert choices were truly the embodiment of perfection.

Overall, the level of customer service left me speechless and is without parallel. Ms. Soko Yanai/her team exceed all conceivable expectations. Our time at the Happo-en was the pinnacle of our journey to Japan and an experience we will always treasure.

This venue seems to typically caterer to large companies and weddings. Based on my experience, anyone who could get married here would truly be blessed with a magical storybook wedding. With the greatest sincerity, a heartfelt thank you to Happo-en for the perfect way to spend our last night in Japan.

The weekend is crowded with many people at the wedding. The Japanese garden is wonderful and just the right size, so it's recommended for a walk after breakfast.

The lobby of the main building is sophisticated, and the staff seem to be able to cooperate well. As expected, it's Happoen-san. The cigar room was also stylish and well-cleaned. Is the tone of the voice of the guide calm and does it take into account the general customer? Those who can get married in such places are happy.

The garden is so wonderful that you forget that this is the center of Tokyo. There were a couple of weddings, but the guests didn't batting with each other and the atmosphere was not crumpled, so it was wonderful. I was able to participate in a calm and nice wedding.

I'd rather sell something inside, like the Hama Rikyu Gardens, but it was listed as a tourist attraction, but I couldn't even get into the sign because it was only for customers who bought things.

It feels like there is such a lush place in a prime location in Tokyo. I participated in a friend's wedding, and the atmosphere was good.

Such an incredible oasis of peace and nature in the middle of the very busy area of Minato-ku. There are often marriages that take place there so you get to see some amazing traditional dresses and ceremonial display while enjoying the relaxing surroundings.

Beautiful, quiet place. We attended a traditional tea ceremony there. Very nicely done and explained but as our hostess spoke only little English, should couldn't explain in depth or answer some questions.
The gardens and pond there are beautiful, you can sit around for sometime before leaving. Highly recommend.

The Japanese garden was very beautiful, and there were many Nishikigoi in the pond.
There was a small waterfall, a bridge, a five-fold pagoda, a rest room like a tea room, and I took various pictures.
It seems there is a chapel and a shrine, I caught a couple of pairs of bride and groom in dress form & tuxedo bride and groom and white dress & hakama.
When the bride and groom walked on the lobby, celebratory words and applause were sent from the staff, I felt warm.
The daughter 's dressing room was also lively with dressing attendants, wedding ceremony attendants, shichi - go - san' s dressing, but the staff worked well with teamwork and carefully dressed.
The photographs were very kind, and I took various pictures.
I could not help it because there were a lot of wedding ceremonies but my 78 - year - old father - in - law was kept waiting for about 30 minutes as the lobby was crowded.

The wedding was scheduled for October 12, 2019.
I was worried about what would happen due to the typhoon No. 19 the day before, and recommended a risk, and offered no additional costs. I was really grateful.
I think it was because it was at a special alarm level. I think that it is a ceremonial hall that can be relieved including this time. An acquaintance who was planning to have a wedding on the same day seems to have taken a considerable cancellation fee.

A wedding will be held. It is exactly the championship. However, it is not extremely high.
The response of all employees is wonderful even if it is not possible to make a contract immediately.
While I was going around various weddings, the moment I went to Happoen to talk, I told all the ceremonies about the cancellation on the spot. The best hospitality in a nice garden.

Lovely wedding venue, with a large garden that has flowers blooming in season. The azaleas were like a pink carpet adding festival feelings.

Traditional and beautiful place with first class services, hotel, restaurants, gardens, attention etc. They support and reflect the quality and dedication of Japanese culture to always do their best!

I occasionally use and ask at study group. Very delicious lunch and perfect correspondence. I often ask at my friend's wedding ceremony. As expected, the perfect wording. Also, when you are an adult, taking pictures with kimono or taking pictures with a hakama after graduation ceremony is also a place of memories.

Compared to Gajoen and Chinzan-so, it's nice to be at station Chika. A ceremonial hall for both Japanese and Western styles.

Beautiful gardens It is not a tourist site, but a wedding site and is not frequented by tourists. Our guide discovered it and it was fantastic. Very well maintained and a great example of Japanese gardens. Incredible beauty. It is next to the station of Shirokanedai Sta so it is easy to reach it and you can visit quickly or stop as long as you want for your banks or your pond. Highly recommended
