The garden is wonderful, but I am surprised at the cheap lunch! I think Japan has become one of the best in the world and a good hotel cospa in the last 30 years. With the price of lunch and champagne here, you cannot drink a glass of champagne at a hotel in Seoul. Japan is the oldest country in hotel play!

It is very clean and beautiful place with a huge beautiful outdoor garden featuring all the Japanese Nature flora. There are also traditional tea ceremonies available for tourists to do a tea ceremony. The best part is that this site is not far from the subway station! Visiting the garden is absolutely free unless you want to do the tea ceremony

As you enter, you start walking through a very beautiful garden area over looking a small lake. It seems unbelievable that this sanctuary is located in Tokyo. Once you get to the end of the winding path you enter the dining building where there are multiple rooms that can be set up for parties. The lighting and ambiance is very nice throughout the building. The formal dining area is very large and open and did not feel crowed with the 150 people there. The staff was all very friendly and efficient.
On the way to the main building, it seems that there was Satoshi Hatanaka on the left and Sun Yat-sen who was in exile.

Amazing little garden. The attention to details is awesome. A very nice display or bonsai trees and a cool pond with koi fish. Nice little waterfalls and little statues and corners to sit. If only the tea house was open during my visit it would have been a perfect experience. Nonetheless a perfect score for the way this place is set and kept.

Happo-en Garden has a beautiful traditional garden and Edo period architecture. In the beautifully maintained garden, you can admire hundreds of years old trees, carp ponds, cherry blossom trees, and autumn leaves, making it the best spot to feel the seasons in Tokyo.
Autumn leaves and cherry blossoms are superb views. I love the view from the cafe.
