Love love our town's library!! My husband & I use it quite frequently!

Steph is super friendly and they have a great variety of books and classes. My kids love going and are always excited to come back and read their books

The library has everything I can think of for a small town library. I just want it to open with mask so I caN take advantage of it.

Modern and spacious library. Staff is friendly and personable. However I did not like the child policy they apply. I was complied to sit at the kid's computer section so I can be close to my kid and keep an eye on him!

The staff here are truly outstanding. They always great us warmly and go out of their way to help. The variety of programs offered to adults, children and teens is unparalleled in the Southland of Chicago.

Best staff anywhere. Helpful and produce solutions to problems that is invaluable.

I came on a Sunday to do some work. It s one of the loudest libraries I ve ever been, and all of the chatter and laughter came from one of the staff. I gather she was providing info to a caller but it went one for over 15 min. and very loud. I played music on my headset and I could still her! I looked over at the other librarian and she acknowledged me but said nothing to her partner. Otherwise, this is a very nice library. I ll have to sit in a different area next time I come.

Love the atmosphere and staff. Dislike HOLDING/WAITING for MONTHS for DVD s on reserve. There has to be a BETTER and FASTER method than the one currently in place.

I had a great experience with this library. When I signed up with with the library all the employees were very nice to me and I felt comfortable. The library has two floors the first floor is the adult book section/computer area and the second floor is the children's book area.

I love it here. According to the other reviews, Orland is nicer and larger, but sometimes you just want something a little more personal and easy-to-navigate and I personally love this library. My kids love getting books and games. You can also rent personal work rooms which is sort of harder given the limited quantity, but there is plenty of seating throughout the library. Staff is always nice and accommodating too and lots of youth activity options for kids.

Fantastic staff and selection. Anyone who is down on this library is simply a bored sad sack with not much happiness in their life. Also if you feel the need to compare this library poorly to others in the metro area you obviously lack an understanding of how these institutions are funded and managed. Keep up the fine work!

Very small selection for a library....Not much is organized and no section for Astrology. new age, or religion? Orland park is much better.

It was amazing the lady at the desk was super nice she showed me where the good books where it it was amazing I recomend u got yo this library

I like to rent movies, games and books for my children at the library. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Tinley Park Library wasted four (4) hours of my time. They adverstised they have a "New" Video lab. A service to us tax-payers where-as you can convert your memories from a VHS tape onto a DVD. What is the reality is they have in-experienced staff and sub-par equipment. I even brought my own home VCR in and still a no go on conversion. I had another "appointment" yes, you must make appointments at that Library so they can waste your time. I called hours earlier and was told they had the problem "fixed" that was present yesterday when they wasted more of my time. The difference between yesterday and today's "FIX" was the system was worse. DO NOT USE THIS NON-SERVICE AT THIS LIBRARY, it will frustrate and anger you.

I agree. Orland Park's library is far better. For what we pay in taxes, they should have better offerings (their events are targeted to the geriatric and the kid set). And Chicago Ridge is better than both.

It is a good library, it serves the public well. If you want to visit a world class library and for about the same amount of individual tax dollars. Visit the Arlington Heights, il. library.

Love this library!! It's so clean and the staff really knows their stuff...even when dealing with the computers, the guy always is so helpful and I am always amazed to learn something new. Love that my kids have options and the library makes it a fun place for the kids...they actually love to go!

Grateful to have this beautiful library. Well-maintained with diverse programs, with so many items to browse and check out. I'm glad our tax dollars go to support this great library in town.
