We visited on Fathers Day Sunday just after open, so service started well, food was excellent, but as the place quicly filled up we had trouble getting our server back, and getting another drink and coffee refill and finally the check. Not enough servers, but ours was pleasant, if overwhelmed.

Best local breakfast place to go to around. I love this place they give you home cooked style breakfast in huge portions. It does get busy and you have the option of putting your name on the waiting list through the yelp app. Great option we wake up and in the car on the way can add out name. This restaurant will continue to get my familys buisiness for years to come.

We came in around 1pm for a party of two and were seated immediately. The decor was nice and cozy and everything looked clean. It kind of reminded me of an old time bar. They had a pretty wide selection of options and a decent amount of them were vegetarian. Once we ordered we waited for about 20 minutes but it was worth it. We had the Country Breakfast and the Ultimate Veggie Scramble. The biscuits and gravy we're tasty but a little cold. The house potatoes were amazing!! They were seasoned well and super crispy. The veggie scramble was super good too. We really liked the big hunks of veggies in there. It made it really satisfying to eat. Attention to out table was good also. We never ran low on water and they were speedy on our requests for condiments. There is also ample parking on the street and there are two public parking lots right around the corner. When we got our check I would say it was fair for the amount and quality of food we got.

Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend to others who like American dining.

The waitress told us to seat anywhere. So we went to the otherside. We set there for about 15 minutes before any waitress came to the table. Then the same waitress came and told us they were not seating people where we was at. And that they seat us not ourselves after she was the one who told us to seat anywhere. Piss poor service. Will not return.

The food and atmosphere here is absolutely amazing! Bring your appetite because the servings are both generous and delicious! I went as part of a large group and the service was friendly and accommodating. Everyone at the table was served at the same time and glasses were kept refilled without having to ask. I will definitely be back!

We found celaphane in the salad. The clam chowder was chewy. We ordered prime rib medium and medium rare, both dishes were served well done. Portions were large as usual, but that does not make up for the way the food was prepared.

Hey look at this new flavor or ingredient to Tina's Place Pancakes. I manage to take this wonderful picture in the morning and then ask for a manager or if Tina was available didn't get nothing. My waitress said sorry and ask if I wanted another plate and I reply will it come with more roaches? I ended up leaving left my business card.

Contacting the health department after this review. I am very disappointed. I've been here 3 times and seems that it's been getting worse every visit. The wait time, the service, bickering among staff with foul language, dirty restrooms and employees that need to better there hygiene.

The reviews on Google are not that bad but, when you look on Yelp! my goodness it's bad. And it's mostly infested, poor service that never changes and awful food reviews.

Guessing I will be going back to iHop since there cleaner, restrooms are clean, more organized, professional on the floor, service is prompt and the food seems to be healthy and looks wonderful.

Tina's Place I rate this place a negative -5.

They must have had a bad day. I had the scrambled with ham and a biscuit with gravy. The Gravy was cold and the biscuit was hard, didn't take a bite. Way too many potatoes. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak, he said he'd had better. We'll try again because of the reviews.

Getting hungry here. So, final restaurant to go have lunch is at Tina s Place. Wow. This is way poor than I expected. Walked in; told to wait to be seated; took the sit by the window that was close to the entrance; I was given a menu; Dunno the name of my waitress; she took my order which is a burger with mushroom and grilled onion. With fries. No pickles; there was a slight misinterpretation of the ultimate burger which I didn t want .... few minutes later, my burger arrived. Ugh. The burger look terrible. The hamburger buns were not toasted; the red onions weren t grilled; I asked for grilled onions;;;; and the burger meat itself is very dry. Too dry in fact.... Biting into the burger, is like biting into a rubber; and the hamburger buns falls apart. The fries are late ...... I was already into the other half of the burger when the fries arrived. So, late.... well overall, I did not enjoy my lunch meal. A disappointing lunch afternoon. Not coming back to Tina s Place for lunch. They do served excellent breakfast, though.

Tina's was the place to go a few months back. I went recently and has dropped in quality. Pretty bummed out. Servers were disorganized seemed like they didn't have a sense of what they were doing. Food was okay not like before though it lacked flavor.
We ordered coffee but the server didn't bring the sugar or milk until a lot later.
I ordered country special the country potatoes were plain no veggies. And the biscuits and gravy pretty good but had too much pepper.
My boyfriend ordered the country omelet with onions and of course it had onions. He didn't get to enjoy it.
We got our food and five minutes after server came back and asked if we wanted to go boxes! And I just wanted ketchup for my potatoes which I asked for when he brought food over.

Anyways, busy place! Be ready to wait.

Food was amazing. Stephanie was incredible. The waitress was the only one on the floor and handled herself with grace and a smile for everyone. Stephanie is one of a million reasons to come back.
Husband had the Tinas Wrap, essentially a breakfast burrito and was in love with it. Said he was giving up on our old breakfast place to come here!
I had the Country Fried Steak Dip, a sandwich with country fried steak, cheese lettuce and tomato that you dip into gravy. Was incredible. The fries were crispy, the coffee was fresh. Atmosphere was awesome. I will be here every time opportunity arises!

Sometimes this place is really crowded so try the NoWait app! :) I've been going to Tina's since they were a little restaurant on San Pablo Dam Road and I've remained a fan through their moves. Love their house salad. If they bring back the grilled turkey bacon and tomato on sourdough sandwich I'd come back even more often. Overall it's one of the best places to get breakfast/lunch in this part of Contra Costa West County.

This place has absolutely horrible service!! The way that they use the waiting list is absurd. My family and I came here on Mother's Day, and we had to wait over 1 hour, when we got there they gave out table away. DO NOT GO HERE.

Was there for breakfast. So many options it was hard to decide what to eat. Food came out quick and was very good.
I would have given 5 stars, however we had to go to the bar ourselves to refill the bottomless mamosas because our server dod not notice our empty glasses.

Out to grab a bite to eat in San Pablo area and came across Tina's. Nice clean place with friendly staff. Ordered the French Toast, Spanish omelet with side order of steak fries.
Pros: delicious food, fast service, and OMG do they bring large portions or what. Expect to take some home and prices were reasonable,. Ok it was low for freaking 4 bread French toast. That's like 8 thick half pieces of French toast for under $7. Full breakfast for 2 under $30.

Cons: I felt the place was a bit tight. Almost had to scoot customers chairs in just to pass by to use the bathroom but overall not a big deal.

Enjoyed it and you should too, enjoy the pictures.
