Great selection of beers and good pizza...very helpful staff

Tin Mill, here's a hint. You are not in the brewing business, you are in the customer service business. You failed.
After having an unimpressive four-glass fight at the Tin Mill Restaurant across the street, we wanted to sample a broader range of brews at the Brewery building. Walked in the door to see one bartender talking to ONE couple about the beers. We stood at the bar for several minutes without receiving so much as a welcome. The barkeep barely looked up at us, did not speak.
We walked down to the far end of the bar hoping to find the beer list. We asked the bartender for a list. The bartender pointed to the chalkboard behind him saying "these are the beers".
Jackass.
Dear Beertender, I want a description of your beers. I want to know if your pale ale is citrusy and hoppy or has notes of bananas and cloves... WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT IS ON YOUR PRINTED BEER LIST, JACKASS.
We found a beer well worth trying and walked straight the hell back out the door we came in. If I'm not worth your precious time, you're not worth my precious money. Peace Out!

Great pizza and beer. Self-serve, take care of yourself kinda place.

Great selection of great beers, lots of varied space indoors, and wonderful space outdoors with fire pits and picnic tables.

Great staff and selection of drinks. There were even ciders for those who don t care for beer. Super relaxed atmosphere and fun outdoor patio.

So my wife and I visit this place every time we are in Herman (a few times a month). Great beer and atmosphere. Last night we stopped in for a drink after dinner. I'm very sad to say, they charged me $16 for a soda and a double vodka redbull ...I was blown away at what that costs. I feel like they ripped me off! I should have asked for a receipt. I will not be returning. I will be sure to let everyone I know what happened.
