Timo Restaurant Review

Here is my honest opinion. We came with a group of 10 people. The food was good/ok. The Black and White Pizza was undercooked, over oiled and had a good amount of truffles on it. I give the pizza a 2 star out of 5 because anyone can put oil and truffles on a pizza but undercooked and over oiled is like eating bread dunked in oil...nasty, very disappointed that an Italian restaurant can't make a pizza right.

The vegetable salad was great, nothing bad to say about that. The old-fashioned I ordered was done very well. My friends drinks looked on point.

What really turned me off from this place was the service and waiter. Way to friendly to the point where while taking my girlfriend's order said, "now pay attention, what do you wanna eat?" Took the order and then forgot to bring drinks, forgot to bring the pizza and then forgot to bring the salad. Said, I brought the appetizers for the table but your order was put in as a dinner order. We only got food after we asked, "did you forget our food?"

The restaurant was way to hot inside, the AC needs to be set a good 10 degrees less.

I get adding a 20% tip on a larger table but I don't see why I should leave a tip for someone who didn't do his job right.

Honestly, the 3 stars review should be a 1 or 2 star review but it seems like my friends enjoyed their food and the drinks were great.

Best restaurant we went to during our sunny isles trip. The service was great; the waiters were so friendly. The food was so delicious. We for the roasted mozzarella app- it was perfect and so flavorful. We also got the sausage pizza and skirt steak- both were just great. Definitely recommend.

I love Timo...and John is awesome!!!... went here years back and loved it so much came back to celebrate my birthday...all I drink as a cocktail is Titos and red bull..
And they didnt carry red bull and actually went to the store down the street to get some!!! They are all about service amd the food is delicious...had a fig and goat cheese pizza and a braised short rib lasagna to die for!!!!

Great service . New favourite walking destination. Delicious black truffle risotto, surprisingly tasty vegan Bolognese, rapini & overall Italian comfort food.

The vegan tasting menu was okay at best. I could ve cooked better stuff at home to be honest. However I ve visited Timo as a non vegan twice before and each time the food has been superb so I ll give it that. Especially the black and white pizza.

I usually get great service but I didn t like how this one time our waiter was enforcing gender roles with the paycheck as a joke, and although I m not one to care about that, I d rather him put the check on the table instead of handing it to me (we were on a date and usually split the bill).

Although the noise level is loud, the ambience is quite gorgeous for a restaurant. Energetic noise, great table placement and a well kept bar area and restrooms are a plus. If you go here, get some pizza, but don t expect something super high class either. Booths are shaky. Still would recommend.

This restaurant is surely one of the best place to eat in the region. Always when I come there I am deeply pleased. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of dishes they serve. You are always happy with this place. Warmly recommended.

Great place. Don't be deceived by the exterior. The highest quality Italian food.

Outstanding food. Great customer service and atmosphere.

Everything was delicious. The pea bisque both hits you in the face and is as delicate as a flower, the scallops were outstanding, the risotto is rich and the atmosphere and location are great.

The truffle risotto and the truffle pizza was amazing. We were a little weary because it was in a strip mall but it was the best place we went to on our trip to Miami. Beat the really expensive places we went to, too!

Great food, menu was limited though. However, they cooked made-to-order dishes for my wife and grandkids. Great atmosphere and service.

My favorite restaurant. From the owners & chefs to the hosts and servers, Timo always takes great care of us. It has maintained its shine for many years and exceeds my expectations from season to season with new dishes and such a high quality of food. Highly recommended!

One of the best restaurants in Florida! No wonder it's been around for more than a decade. They do everything right, from the food and service to the great bar area. The chef even came out of the kitchen to check in with customers, a rarity these days. This is our new go-to restaurant! Love it!

My friend & I celebrate our birthday dinners at Timo, we were there last Tuesday evening and the restaurant was packed (both indoors and out), we fortunately had a reservation.

Our favorite waiter is Jonathan, who is polite & filled with the greatest suggestions for wine & food. Foie gras is a favorite appetizer!

Never been to Timo for lunch, but it is open.

The food is so fresh and excellent! But more important I was by myself and the staff took care of me and made sure I was happy in every way imaginable. So locals in Florida and people from out of town this is the place to go in Sunny Isles Florida near South Beach on Collins Avenue!

Definitely one of my favorite restaurant in Sunny Isles Beach. I Particularly enjoy the Bristol style ambiance. Decent wine selection reasonably priced. I love the Rudo of Mahi Tuna with avocado. Enjoy!

Great food, very nice service, romantic atmosphere.

Small place , excellent food & pizza , was packed on Christmas & New years Holiday week....so we sat in the bar ...they simply need more bar staff when busy otherwise excellent.

Timo is a great restaurant. The food is always top of the line. The service is even better. If you are looking for a great celebration restaurant, this is it.

Amazing unique food just found this gem recently while living in Hallandale. Food is obviously creative/unique gourmet and though this is an upscale/$$$ restaurant, they definitely please with portion and flavor! For example, the lamb meatballs with goat cheese came with 5 meatballs and 4 potato/cheese delicious dumplings. I expected smaller portions just because of the restaurant type, but everything exceeded my expectation. They also bring you excellent bread and breadsticks to the table. The truffle carpaccio pizza with cheesy potato puree instead of sauce, is unique and AMAZING you will crave it a few days later and return for it! Service was excellent from the welcoming host to the prompt and friendly waiter. It's easy to see why this gem has been here for over ten years! We were so full after the meatballs and half of the gourmet-size pizza, that we ended up bringing our whole duck dish home! DELICIOUS! Romantic for date-night also.

Friendly staff. A bit over priced for the quality of the food. It is not that busy at lunch hours.

What a great meal and great service. Heard about this from the radio show " Eat this drink that go "with Jimmy Cephalo. Food was Magnificent and the service from our waiter Leo was fantastic.

This place was wonderful from my phone call to the moment we left . The food was excellent. Wine was great. Service was amazing! They were also very accommodating to our toddlers.

There needs to be more like you in the restaurant industry! Thank you for making our trip even better.
