Timo Restaurant Review

It is a very welcoming restaurant. You eat very well both for lunch and dinner. Flu chefs are quite good and the service is excellent.

Excellent bread and pizza! The Brazino fish was delicious! Great service and great food!

Such an amazing experience! Highly recommend for couples and families. The service and ambiance are spectacular! Would highly recommend foie gras small plate with a glass of Riesling for a nice start. Definitely was my favorite part. Just loved it!

This is a comfort food favorite. Lower on the pricing scale for South Florida yet as good as any top level culinary establishment. Service is impeccable. I suggest my favorites Squid Ink Fettucini, Sphagetti Chitarra with Lump Crab and you will never be disappointed with their Grilled Swordfish with Eggplant and Couscous.

Wonderful place. We went for lunch, for the Miami Spice menu. Great choices, their wine flights work perfectly with the foods. All the dishes we had were bursting with flavor. Service was impecable, the place is impecable.

Everything is excellent
Meat cooked tenderly, pizza is piquant and well done with various flavors, soup is perfect and dessert is delicious.
All portions are great and you will never live this place being hungry and dissatisfied !!!

Good food. The service could be better. A little confused

The restaurant is relatively luxurious with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. At the same time, I did not really enjoy the food. The first courses were nice. For dessert I ordered seafood pasta. The seafood was over-made and the sauce was standard and not interesting. The restaurant is expensive and does not justify the price.

Tim is an exceptional chef and the employees provide excellent service!

Honestly this has been the worst restaurant I ve been to in a while. I normally don t write reviews but it was honestly that bad. We had a reservation and it took almost 20 minutes for us to get seated. No one even approached us for most of that time, I think 5 different employees walked by us and I had to flag one down. They literally ignored us. Even tried to grab a drink and the bar and there was not a single bartender. We had dinner and no one even came to our table, even glanced at it until I had to say something. Horrible first impression and I ll probably never eat here again. I m disappointed cause it looked good online.

Went there last week for the first time and I truly enjoyed it! I had the beet salad and the peach salad which both ended up having the same ingredients in the salad but it was good! I also ordered 2 fish dishes one was the something starting with the letter H (can't remember the name hahah) and the other fish was branzino, both were super delicious! For desert I had the chocolate souffle, can't go wrong with that!

The service was incredible, and the food was fantastic. You definitely pay big bucks for it, but it is a very good fancy place to go on occasion. Again, awesome service!

Great atmosphere. Helpful staff and delicious food. Wrestled with appetizer selection and decided to order entree. Not their fault. Menu had a good selection of appetizers and entrees. I had swordfish, super! Our guest had lamb shank and veal parmesan. Both excellent. Pear Torte for dessert was out of sight. Highly recommend.

What a great night from start to finish! Our server Artem was super friendly and very knowledgeable, making the whole meal a very smooth experience. The scallop salad had fois gras on it that melts in your mouth. The branzino in a buttery sauce was so tender and delicious. And the sword fish was cooked to perfection. We also saw so many other tasty dishes passing by us that we must come back again for another dinner or lunch adventure here.
Very highly recommend you come for a very quality meal and dining experience.

My wife and I went for the second time. The whole restaurant was screwed up from the first moment of seating to the food. My wife s chicken was served oozing blood and had no meat on it. My Brussels sprouts must have been cooked by a five year old on the grill not a cook. Her pasta was served incorrectly and when it came it was apparent someone had mistakenly dumped double or triple the salt in by mistake - inedible. For this privilege we were presented a bill of 100. I shared all of this with our server who revealed that neither the owner of the head chef were there that night - in fact it was apparent that they were completely overwhelmed with the staff showing the obvious tension. So there it is - easy as that - one cannot possibly run a restaurant well - and create continuous quality - unless a senior person is on site and is tasting and checking everything. In
My hometown of Chicago the food standard and competition drives much much higher performance. We dine out a lot - poor quality has been a constant theme in the Miami - and I m going to provide very sharp commentary everytime I see it in this City as I eat my way through it. AVOID TIMO.

My wife and I dined at Timo in Miami to celebrate our 30th anniversary and can't say enough about our experience there. Thanks to the friendly staff, especially our server Sandy, we have a wonderful meal and great time. The baked Alaska was the absolute BEST we've ever had! Thank-you for the wonderful experience.

Kind of a typical canteen.

Basically fried filet ole fish (undercooked) w/ TARTAR SAUCE?? Tartar sauce for a fine dining restaurant...are you kidding me??? McDonald's is tastier to boot!

Very cozy place with good service and delicious Pizza

We've booked a table for 5 people for 7:30pm. When we've came at 7:40pm, the table wasn't ready. Moreover, when staff understood that there are 2 kids at our party, they decided to give us a smaller table. So, a small table for 4 people, which was setted for 10 minutes(all in all, we've tried to seat at 19:50). After we said that this table seems to be too uncomfortable for our big family, hostess started to persuade us that this table is OK. Almost commanding who will seat and where. We really didn't want to raise a stink and went away. While we were standing outdoors and choosing a new restaurante where to come, a manager came out and tried to explain that this table is optimized for 5 people. But another family of 4 was seating at the convenient table with sofa(the same table was near).
All in all, we wasted our time, lost our mood and stayed hungry.

P.S. In 3 minutes of walk we've found a great restaurant in Aqualina Resort.(Don't want to advertise the name of the restaurante!).

I must say this is my all-time favorite restaurant! their food is so delicious that it melts in your mouth every bite you eat. Down to the staff with great customer service for the time you walk in from the time you walk out the atmosphere the beautiful dining area is all amazing I promise you go here and you'll be seeing them every week take it from me. Totally amazing from A to Z. Cozy restaurant in the heart of Sunny Isle Beach. Located in a RK plaza with parking spots in front and rear of the restaurant.

The restaurant does not say a lot from outside. Blue awning, big windows, outside seating.
Inside it is really classy and beautiful. Nice paintings, wooden fire pizza oven, good music, excellent mediterranean food serve with passion and dedication.

Service is friendly but professional. Casual but on point.
Sandy makes fabulous drinks. A bit exotic. she know what she is doing.
Leandro was our server. He is very knowledgeable with a good taste and recommendations.
Wanda was helping with a big smile on her face at all times.

They also do happy hour from 5 to 7 pm bar only. Cant miss it!!!

5 star service, 5 star food. Menu keeps a lot of favorites, but also very seasonal. They have a VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN tasting menu year round that always changes, which is an absolute favorite. Meat eaters: The skirt steak is the best in the area - potentially the best around, hands down. Vegetarians: tons of options. Pasta and pizza lovers rejoice - highly recommend the ravioli, the sauce is fresh tomato and so delicious. Good for dates and special events - not recommended for parties more than 8-10 as it s rather small. Full bar. Desserts are beyond impressive.

Good attention and good place, the food is not as good as I had read, there was a lot of noise in the place and the price was very expensive for what you eat. There are better Italian restaurant options in the area

Simply amazing Italian meets midern fine dining..service and atmosphere amazing perfectly seared scallops..And short rib Lasagna on a bed of bechamel topped with mucrigreens...This had to be one if the best dining experiences in years . As a forner fine dining cheg I highly suggest this be added to your must go to list. Jonathan quite possibly made this a top 5 dining experiences Ive ever had.

Spur of the moment business dinner. Lovely wood fire grill smell when you walk in. Very friendly staff. Bronzino was well cooked in parchment, juicy but rather bland. Asparagus in the parchment with the fish was different, in a good way. Husband said his Italian sausage pizza was flavorful but didn't have a wood-fired oven taste . Side of brussels was uninspiring. Little pricey but in line with Sunny Isles.

4 of us arrived at 7:30 pm and the place was packed! The hostess got us a table without a reservation in 5 minuites !! The wine list was fantastic, even listing the vintage years of each kind!! All three pages of the wine! The food was brought out fast and the dessert was amazing! Our whole party was very satisfied and I will go back again next time I am in Miami!

Here from NY at a union conference .I have to say, super surprised of how the food tasted..amazing. Hats off to the menu, compliments to the Chef. It made us feel like we were in NYC at a super expensive restaurant with a world class chef. You have to try. Trust me, your taste buds will tingle and it will thank you
