I completely agree with the other homeowner. This is a horrible property management company who does not do anything but collect rent from tenants to collect their fee. All they do is collect rent from tenants, which h now-a-days can be done with a simple paypal account. They are not thorough as property management company and I have had to do most of the work myself. I do not understand how they can be a property management company if they aren't doing the necessary steps to ensure the property stays in the great condition when it was first rented. Do your homework and do not select this company if you are looking for a property management company.

We rent a nice town home from TBM. The property is the only thing that earned them a single star. The management part of the company is poor at best. Don't have an online portal, must deliver rent in person monthly. Takes forever to get any sort of maintenance handled besides major emergencies.

I deal with this company for business purposes and can't ever get anyone on the phone. Left several voice messages for several different people in regards to several different matters for each individual called and each person took their sweet time getting back to me. Emails went unanswered for weeks. Had a personal interaction with the receptionist during an office visit and she was not pleasant at all. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Currently leasing a TBM property. Holy smokes! There are many outstanding maintenance requests made months ago. Utility account setup took months resulting in stop of DC Water service! Coming from New York, I'm used to sheisty landlords, but my gosh the greed has no bounds with these thieves! The lack of care, customer service and effective management is astounding. What a tremendously negative experience that is impacting my mental health, relationship with my wife and performance at work!

Natasha was very friendly. She showed me an apartment today. Even though I decided against the unit. It was great speaking with her about the DC area. I would definitely use Tilton Bernstein Management in the future.

Unprofessional staff. Extreme negligence and lack of communication with owners and tenants regarding safety of the building. I would recommend investing in a better company that is reliable, responsive and professional. They are quick to charge for services but do not help when important matters or concerns are brought to their attention. DO NOT trust this management company with your building. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

I reside at one of the properties here at Tilton Bernstein Management, and i deal with manager "Sakita Clayton". She is very rude, unresponsive, and a neighbor told me that she was arrested for assaulting a police officer with a deadly weapon. RUN! Please don't rent from these people. They are criminals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

extremely rude service and charge you for services you didn't even get or use. When I emailed them about an issue, there was a very rude and abrupt response. This has been the the impression that multiple people in my complex have gotten from this management company.

We really like our large, bright apartment we rent through Tilton Bernstein and it is pretty good value for DC. Tilton Bernstein have always been very responsive when we have had issues and sometimes send someone round to look at the problem the same day. My only complaint is that they don't accept rent payment by direct debit so we have to send a check every month.

I live in a condo they managed for the last 12 years and have found Tilton Bernstein great to deal with. Richard was super helpful in solving my issues and even sent a handyman over to fix some immediate issues.
