Poor customer service - purchased tickets online with vouchers. Gave all payment details then logged me out.

Disgraceful. Waiting and ready 5min before AFL finals tickets went on sale, logged in to website, membership codes copied and spent 50+ minutes failing to get tickets altogether. Site constantly busy or failed to process my order before timing me out. No idea why this company doesn't sell tickets to the games at different times to reduce traffic, given that the games are played sequentially. Totally gutted, 55 years of collective membership in my immediate family and we will miss out because of this incompetent organisation. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Trying to book ICC T20 via the website, the booking does not work, returning errors. Tried to call Ticketek and the auto responder says that they are too busy and I should submit an email enquiry. It's so complicated to even find the email enquiry form and once I submitted it, I did not even get a confirmation and was only redirected back to contacts. Now I do not have any tickets and there is no way of contacting you guys (even not sure whether you got the message through the form and whether you'll respond). You really should do something with your website functionality and customer support processes!
Absolutely hopeless. No response to email queries, never pick up the phone. Don't refund on time like they say they will. What the hell is the ticket admin fee on purchases going toward? Because it's sure as hell not toward customer service. I wish I could review without giving any star at all. What a joke.

I was on hold for 43 minutes before being hung up on, I phoned straight back and waited a further 57 minutes to book disabled seating. Every time I ring, I get stuffed around to no end. Do you think I haven't got anything better to do? This is pathetic. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I'd soon rather wait in line to get tickets but, we're driving 4 hours to get to Melbourne so we don't want to make that journey if we cannot get tickets. SORT IT OUT TICKETEC!!!!
Also, I don't want to hear about the garbage you're trying to flog or have people sign up to. You can't even sell me a few tickets to the football. I wish I could give you zero stars because that's the service I got.
If you can't handle something as simple as taking phone orders and booking things, make the disabled ticket sales the same as the rest. Why should I have to be treated like this just because you can't run a booking centre? Why not have a set up like booking a seat on a flight? Is this amateur hour?

CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXISTANT. I bought a ticket for Amy Schumer and her performance was cancelled, now I am trying to get my money back and the ticketek contact number keeps ringing out. It's been over 2 months and I still haven't been re-embursed, they are hopeless and unprofessional. There is no customer service because you can't even get through to anyone on their contact line to make an enquiry or a complaint. They only want your money but after that they don't want to know you.

Got ticketek gift vouchers as a present 4 months ago. You can't actually use them to purchase tickets on there website. Went to an agency to book tickets and was asked for the full cost up front. I asked why the gift vouchers weren't accepted. Apparently they send your credit card number to ticketek later for a reimbursement. (WTF)
The proprietor of the agency told me he is getting out of ticketek due to abuse he gets from ticketek customers.
Add to this the loss of my grand final tix due to computer failure by ticketek (rang by someone to apologize for there error later)

I have called the customer service but there is no one to answer. all the phone number is busy. Experience not so bad online but the 'COSTS' are extraordinary now for concert or theatre tickets!!!
It is becoming an art only for the elite or rich to attend. Some of the theatre events that would interest my children would cost us almost $1000 for a family of four to attend for a 2 hour show.
This is OUTRAGEOUS and I encourage all those who support me to complain as well.

I was waiting for someone to answer my call for 18mins. Just hung up the phone out of frustration. I just called to make a simple enquiry about an event. Dirty tactics in tickets selling. We purchased on Federer 11am Tuesday morning in print on their website. After we flew in from Syd they Federer into 7pm in the evening session. We wasted so much time and resources and now couldn't get tickets at all then we have to check out Crown Tower Hotel and fly back tomorrow empty handed. Never buy tickets from ticketek! They can change draw but won't refund you tickets.

Ticketek customer communication is incredibly fast and reliable, thorough and helpful! I received a reply less than 24 hours after my online inquiry which also allowed me to include as much information as possible, none of those nasty character limits in the text box!
Can't get footy tickets, their one job is to sell tickets and they constantly fail at doing so for every single event. would give them 0 if I could.
Absolute shambles. Sadly we have to use them if the event is being booked via Shititek. Customer service is pretty much non-existent. Good luck if you need to speak with a human and not close to the CBD.

Extremely poor service. Not ready for help. All you can get is automatic answering machine which is not helpful at all. The website selling tickets is nonsense. It blocked me from buying tickets after I registered with real personal information and inputted authentic credit card details a few times. The message it posted was my card was blocked because of security reasons and advised me to contact the card issuer. I even made international phone calls to the banks to check what's wrong with my cards. It's a waste of time using the service of Ticketek.

On two occassions I've attempted to buy tickets from Ticketek. On the first I waited in a queue and was allowed access 7 minutes before ticket sales opened. So when the tickets opened I had only 3 minutes left of the 10m slot Ticketek allows. 3 minutes to select seats, put in my information and my payment details. What a joke! I was logged out before I even got to the payment screen. Several HOURS of waiting a second time resulted in seats showing available, then saying not available once I got to checkout.
Similar experience 2nd time around, with my credit card not being processed saying it had been 'blocked'. I attempted 3 different credit cards and my partner's card with the same response.
Tried calling your customer service number only to hear an automated message saying your lines were too busy, call back later!

Tried to buy afl finals tickets online, wasted my whole morning. Went to the store to buy tickets, waited in line for 45 minutes before they told me no club member ticket sales! A bloke in front of me in a wheelchair had come all the way for the suburbs to buy tickets because he couldn't buy them online, and then had to wait outside (no disabled access) only to be told he couldn't buy a ticket either. Some people in the line for over an hour without being told no club member sales. Absolute dogs.
Seems like I will have to travel 50km from home to buy tickets at the theatre - no chance on phone nor on-line with Ticketek as immediately after becoming a member of Ticketek in order to buy on-line, it was claimed my password invalid so changed it but then both my password and email address invalid....back to phone but after being in the queue for about 1 minute, I get cut off. Tried a few times - same outcome. How can a company of this type and size be useless and how does the company survive! Shocking in 2016 to encounter this level of technological incompetence. Found a way! Bypass Ticketek, go direct to the theatre!

Rang them to check if my ticket, wanted to speak to a live person but the phone system was difficult to navigate. Finally found the option to speak to an operator but they cut the call as apparently there was more than an hour wait. Completely useless

Pathetic, incompetent, poor excuse for a ticketing agency! The App is terrible, can't trust it to work. After being told 'allocation exhausted' for a certain section you can't change seat categories without having to go back in queue and wait for ages to be logged back in. Then you can experience errors! HATE TICKETEK!!! And it doesn't even deserve a 1 STAR rating - way more appropriate would be MINUS 5!!!

Website is clunky and useless, no way to empty cart so you have to use a new window to see tickets for a different day, no support line, no phone number, expensive to print your own tickets at home.
Staff were very helpful after I had lost my tickets.
I got my footy ticket today, then got 3 spam emails that were nothing to do with the ticket I bought. A few years, I was opted in to 'ticket insurance', this was refunded after about a week. So thats the one star earned.

Absolute sham of an organisation. I have called their number 70+ times today with a busy signal each time. I have also obtained another number but have been on hold for over hour. I have tried DM on social media with no help. There is absolutely no customer service provided by this organisation. 0 stars would have been given had it been allowed to allocate. I have been sent the wrong purchase , yet cannot get a hold of anyone from this organisation. Am I expected to outlay hundreds of dollars to receive the wrong product and not have an avenue to contact them? Fraudulent is what it is.
