Good lunch spot if your office is in the area. Limited parking. Not worth going to if not within walking distance.

I had the glazed salmon, delicious. Beautiful patio.

Quite possibly the best salad bar on the west coast. Plus an incredible indoor/outdoor seating area.

The atmosphere here is nice. I absolutely love the patio area. This is a great place to have lunch with friends or coworkers or even for a business meeting. The food is decent (though not amazing), and the prices are alright (a bit on the higher side for what the food is). Can't beat the convenience of the location (near a lot of major business buildings) or its atmosphere.

This restaurant reminded me of The Graden cafe @ Terrain-- the garden center owned by Urban Outfitters outside of Philadelphia. Gorgeous decor! The food was good. Great for lunch-- asian flare to normal American dishes. I tired the Grilled Cheese & tomato soup & my tummy was happy! Give it a try!

Everything is delicious. I just wish they were open in the evenings and for happy hour, it's such a lovely outdoor area and perfect for summer after work drinks, please do the happy hours again!

I would like to start off by saying how amazingly delicious the Vegan Banana Bread is! Healthy can taste good and it's definitely the best banana bread I've ever had. I always buy the last slice and I want to be able to buy an extra slice to share so it would be nice to bake more banana bread. The employees are super friendly and it honestly makes me happy to experience positive and joyful people so early in the morning. Thank you Tiato!

Wonderful food. The service is responsive. You don't have to search for a waiter.

I call this special place every couple of days because I love the special atmosphere that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is highly attentive and qualified. The service is very fast. Most important, the food you get is perfect. I frequent often and I was always joyful. The payment is modest. I suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

Vietnamese coffee seems pretty weak, and seems like sweetener and milk was used instead of condensed milk.

Solid lunch spot in East Santa Monica. Strangely, the only negative thing I can think of about this place is that it is way too big. It's challenging to create ambiance when you feel like you're sitting a gymnasium. Great outdoor space, above average lunch fare, and friendly staff, but not good enough for 5 stars.

Lovely patio with lots of room and shade. The waiters were very attentive.
The menu is interesting and the food and cocktails were excellent. I have been there for lunch twice recently with friends on the weekend and the experience was a real pleasure! All of us go out quite often and we agreed that it is a favorite spot and that we will return again soon...

Looking forward to the next time I'm in LA so i can visit this restaurant because of Curb Your Enthusiasm!

Tiato is located in the Lionsgate office building. They close very early at 5pm because there's private events in the evening.

Upsides: Absolutely beautiful "garden market" venue with great food. Try the turkey burger and their brussel sprouts with grapes. There's always wedding receptions or company events going on in the courtyard after 5pm.

Downsides: Coffee is really not great. Service is really really not great (3/5 times they mess up my order). Overall I do recommend going there for lunch or to soak in the sun in the courtyard.

You'll enjoy the Cali-Vietnamese cuisine in this beautiful patio paradise.

A little pricey and a slow staff sometimes, but the delicious food and the surroundings there make up for it. Beautiful backyard patio. Big fan of the salads they offer as well, can't really go wrong with any dish.

Don't come in here expecting authentic Vietnamese food and you will be satisfied. It is a nice fusion spot close to a lot of offices in Santa Monica. Great outdoor seating and great location for groups to enjoy the beautiful weather.

We enjoy going out. Yesterday we arrived in this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a delightful time there with fine cooking and an experienced stuff and a talented chef. We put this venue in our list and we will definitely go again soon. Highly recommended.

Why do they always ask for a reservation? I've never needed one. Kind of pretentious place but the food is fine...

Delish fresh CA-Vietnamese food in a fresh outdoor location. The menu changes often so you'll never get bored. And everything's good so you can't go wrong trying a little of everything. Be sure to make an outdoor reservation cause on sunny days (and there are a lot in SM) the patio fills up fast.

Great place for a long shot down meeting - or a grab and go from the EPIC salad bar in the back. Can't go wrong with Tiato.

The food was fine. I ordered the pho knowing the soup broth might not be great. It wasn't. The portion was insufficient so I ordered more food. The service was not great. The wait staff seemed disorganized. It took awhile to get our food and to request items like a menu and our bill. Luckily, I had a lot of time to spare, but I would not go back here if I were on a tight schedule.

That said, there are people who complain about the noise from this venue. It's a localized concern. I live three blocks away and this doesn't bother me.

I work in the building next door at Oracle so this is our lunch go to or even happy hour for after work. Food selection is great and drinks are good too. It can get quite busy so reservations are ideal if your party is big.

A beautiful space to hold an event! It has a magical feel that makes for gorgeous images! Every plate of food and drink was a work of art!

I went here with my boyfriend for a date night, the last night of outdoor dining before it had to shut back down. It was his first time there, my second and he was astounded. Between the service, atmosphere, drinks AND the food, it was perfect. We shared a few dishes (garlic noodles, yum yum!) and had a few drinks, and that was more than enough for us. I just saw they came out with some holiday/Christmas menus, definitely will be ordering one of those. Thanks Tiato, no cooking for me this year :p

Firstly, I had lunch at Tiato and the food was amazing! The fish tacos were fresh and succulent and the ramen noodles were incredibly flavorful. I was so blown away by the food that I went back for happy hour and tried the garlic fries and my friend had the mac 'n cheese. Great food! Ridiculous prices! The people at the bar were cool. The space and the decor were warm and friendly. I'm so glad that I discovered Tiato! This is definitely the best happy hour in Santa Monica by far! We're going back today!!!

The food and service is usually pretty good, but it's a bit pricey for the portions served. They also have some great healthy options, so it's a good place to go if you're trying to have a healthier meal.

I meant to post this a few weeks ago (when outdoor dining was still "allowed") but wow! I came here for Sunday brunch for a long overdue visit with some friends. We ordered a bunch of items - Corned Beef Hash, Cloud Egg (with avocado toast - soooo unique and delish) Dim sum appetizer (so flavorful and fresh) and Garlic noodles to share (OMG) Everything was outstanding. My mouth is watering actually as I think about it.

The patio was also really beautiful and tables far apart, very much socially distanced! I can't wait to go back!!

p.s. parking was super easy!!

The ambiance and food are superb. A must they are the Chocolate Ponzu Brussel Sprouts. You will not be disappointed, I know I wasn't.

Great food and great venue. They are a restaurant as well as a market. And every bit as great as they already are, the staff is amazing. Nice, respectful and prompt. You'll love this place!

Fantastic establishment. The tables near the windows are especially lovely. Lots of good looking customers. I saw Ted Danson there once. People are very helpful too - I once witnessed a man in the ugly section having a seizure and a nice young gentleman whose father was a doctor ran over to assist and help tend to the man. Bathrooms are nice too. Lots of privacy now so you can do your business. Benvenuto a Tiato.

Have the best Tomato Basil soup ever!!! The Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon was to die for.

If you re a ugly meeskite woman, try to show up with a good looking dude (think Ted Danson) so you can get a table near the window. Weird rules apply here, sorry.
