Great event and food in the Pano room! Hated having to walk through the casino and breathe the smokey air in the gaming area! Would have been a 5 star rating if there had been directions to another entrance that didn't require walking through smoky air.
Easy to get to. Has plenty of gambling opportunities. Lots of food choices.

Only one complaint... It seems like there is always an inconvenience whenever I have room reservations. Resort fees for things that are not available. I think that should be waived during the times of constriction or remodel. All and all, nice facilities, and gaming floor!

I like going to this casino a lot and I won small jackpot. My concerns is that upon arriving near the entrance.....you can smell smoking smoke literally through the door. The building itself needs a deep humidifier or air febreeze the place. Cut down smokers and add more non smokers.....it s just bad enough people who sit there and play the machines....first of all it s not safe to breathe there. Our masks and n95 mask. These smoke seeped through our masks too. Gotta do something about it.

Lots of parking. The buffet is on the opposite end from the parking structure. Pretty clean. No restroom in the buffet really sucks. Food selection wasn't as good as it used to be. Lots of sugar free options, but some sugar free options weren't available in regular version. That really was a heartbreaker. Soda selection could be better.
Thunder Valley it's a good price to go and clear your mind and just sit there and do a lot of thinking I haven't been there in a long time but I like to visit nice chill nice atmosphere good food lot of food there I don't drink all you can drink water good place recommend you want to go somewhere and just clear your mind all by yourself thank you

For your money the closest thing to a resort casino that Sacramento can offer. Not the loosest place to gamble, but it does deliver the complete experience. Poker room is excellent. Food court, pool bar, excellent rooms, if pricey. Killer buffet. If you like casinos, this is your stop. Red Hawk is not even close, although the slots are looser there.

They are a joke those machines always come close to hitting big and for sure to hit little winnings to make you think it will hit don't get me wrong some people hit but only a few it's the worst casino to gamble in around Sacramento don't give them a chance if you want to win

Beautiful property. It's a full scale casino resort, with multiple restaurants a spa, a hotel, etc. It's not as grand as a Vegas hotel on the strip but I would say it's nicer than the ones in Reno. Drinks are cheap, there are loads of slots and table games. Overall a very nice casino.
I used to like going to Thunder Valley to play, but if yesterday was indicative of what the changes are like then I will choose to play elsewhere. No payback, allowed gambling money was gone in less than 20 mins, quickest time ever in a casino for me. Went to food court and was very, very slow. Was obvious that there was issues with the employees - bad moods prevailed. As I looked around the casino while eating, I noted that there didn't seem to be any jackpots, no one cheering, or anything close to it. No thanks - going back to some competitors.
The buffet was great, the gift shop has nice things in it. I saw tirmisiu at the bakery. smoked a cigar tasted great but made me feel sick later.
I checked out the poker room depending on how long it's been since your last act visit this might be a major change poker now has it's own room and it is to the drive left when coming in from parking structure very quite inside just the sound of chips clinking and cards being delt
Thunder Valley is fun. It is the closest casino to me which is the main reason I gamble there. I won better at a couple other casinos but one does not have a hotel or rooms to stay and Thunder Valley has the best entertainment by far. I started out going there for concerts (outdoor ) before I really gambled like I do now.
Won 100 but had 750 worth damage to my truck in parking lot. It w as keyed scratched .thanks a hole who did it.

I had a ton of fun at this casino. There is a huge amount of slot machines, an insane amount of slot machines. If you like slots, you will love this place. I really like slots.
Had dinner there and the food was awesome. Also played a poker tournament after and had a lot of fun. Great place and always getting better.
My experience was very good, jo koy was awesome with the jabberwalkies. They should do more shows together but the slots, I put in 100.00 and didn't hit once, lol

Lost money while gambling. Slots seem unbalanced. While walking the slot machines, no one appeared to be winning.
Came to stay in my r.v. at the r.v. parking area, was about to stay 72 hours, many other campers have been there for months, obvious favoritism, upgraded new slot machines low payout odds are low. Overall nice casino, clean, full of entertainment and eatery.

I play video poker. I put in 200 bucks into a machine and never even caught 1 4 of a kind. Lasted about 30 minutes. Very disappointed.

I had a stellar time. The room were so nice. I loved the smell of the room when I first walked in. The Bath butler menu also shows that this casino is dedicated to making my stay a very nice one. The casino was fun and had a nice variety of foods to eat and also a variety of choices for the wallet too. It having a food court was a very nice touch. Over all I think thunder valley is one of the best or could be the best in California.
Though they have a decent number of machines, I would like to see a wider variety of game types.
Could be my last visit (but I know it's not) I walked in with 160 bucks and I usually do pretty well. Usually. On this visit, the same slots I usually play and can bring home 600 to 1200 on each one. Nothing. As you play one aquires a feel for a particular machine and what it does when its ready to belch. I've been playing these same machines for about 10 years now. Kinda get used to how it feels when playing, Right? Not this time. Barely got a couple of free spins. I got a few hits but nothing like they were a couple of months ago. And the payouts a very small and I mean stingy-small. I know it's the pattern that hits is what determines the win, but they got them setup so tight, they don't hit and when they do, it tries to hit on the least amount it give per the bet. Even during free play, y'know bonus spins, they don't hit. They just don't hit. I don't know what's wrong my skills or my luck because I can go to any other place and win. So my next visit to TV will be on my couch with my tablet. I'll just mail them a check, save gas.
