Been stopping by here since before the farm. A can...
Been stopping by here since before the farm. A can't miss for beer or food. My parents are hooked too. Top notch beer AND food.
Been stopping by here since before the farm. A can't miss for beer or food. My parents are hooked too. Top notch beer AND food.
Beer, food and atmosphere was fantastic!
Will definitely be back!
Great selection of drinks and delicious dishes. Indoor and outdoor seating (pet friendly outside!). Relaxing/social atmosphere.
Wow! Great selection, good food, amazing venue, and a fun staff to chat with. Good for the whole family.
Great place to grab a beer and sit in the sun. The food is really good. French fries are to die for and so we're the swordfish.
We visited Throwback Brewery on our way to Portland, Maine for dinner. We were not disappointed. They have great selection of beers especially IPA's. Stout - not so much but then I am particular to Guinness. Food was good too. I really enjoyed the Chorizo Bowl with a roasted cauliflower side. My wife wasn't very impressed with their Korean BBQ Bowl but really liked the cheesy grits.
The brewery is located on an old farm. We sat outside and it was a great place to be with the beautiful sunset. With the sun setting though hundreds of bugs descended on us and we had to retreat inside
Great food, good rotating beer selection. Really great atmosphere at a very cool location
The food was excellent! Ribs could be cut with a spoon. Great selection of beers, and quit a few different mixed drinks as well.
These ladies know how to brew beer! Love the burgers and cheesey grits. Always have and always will love Throwback!
We visited here a few years ago and went out of our way for a return trip this year. If your anywhere within a 100 mile radius you need to make the trip.
Awesome scratch made food and great beers to go with it. The cheesey grits were def a reason to go back alone. Bring friends plenty of room to spread out and enjoy
Heard about this place but never made time to detour until the other day. So glad we did! Super cozy and charming atmosphere, set on a gorgeous working farm. lovely staff, great beer and snacks. We had an ipa flight and some fish tacos. Everything was fresh and fantastic. Looking forward to coming for some live music and making this a regular spot.
The food, atmosphere and beer are really great, but whoever designed the ordering service needs to be fired. There should not be one station where everyone orders both their food and beer. Not only does this cause a delay to get your order taken, but it also causes a lot of congestion inside and outside. If someone wants to come here for a quick beer you better hope there isn't a long line.
The food and beer were awesome! Will definitely go back! :)
This place is the best. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing, unique and healthy food options, and it is both romantic, hip and kid friendly all at once.
Stopped for a bite to eat and to throwback a few. The food was delicious, and the beer some of the best craft beer I have had. I enjoyed the Love Me Long Time pilsner with excellent flavor and a smooth finish. Went down so easily, I had to have another. My bride had the Heidi octoberfest - very flavorful and a smooth finish. You must plan to stop by!
Great beer, can't wait to get back there and sample some food
Fun brewery in Hampton.
They have a great beer selection and tons of food options. It was a little crowded when I went but you never have to wait long for anything. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are games to play inside.
There's a nice outdoor patio space with tables and chairs that overlooks a big open field. I'd want to sit out there when the weather cooperates.
The food and beer are both excellent. I like the setup where you order your food at the bar and just sit whereever you would like.
Amazing and oh so charming. I lived every little bit of this farm/brewery/restaurant. Totally wowed and satisfied this snobby New Yorker. The blueberry pie and salted blonde beer was perfect.
This place is electric! I m not a brewery type
Of person but the beer was awesome. Party Pants (Raspberry and Lime gose) was my favorite. In the past when I have been to breweries the food was just ok, well this place has amazing food as well. Super cool place, will be going back to stock up.
Throwback has a nice selection of food and beer. The food is great and the prices are not to bad. The outdoor patio is great in the summertime and is dog friendly which is nice!
Very nice beers. Didn't have their IPA available so only 4 stars for now! Love the location (an old farm).
I m still trying to figure out how a couple orders two burgers with two beers, pay $50 and get raw burgers and burnt fries? Don t waste your time...
Our office ordered lunch from Throwback last week. I ordered the Korean BBQ Burrito. This burrito is, honestly, one of the best things I have ever eaten. Ever. The flavor was so different and the house made kimchi was SO GOOD. The rest of our office also raved about each of their meals including a burger, BLT and spicy Korean wings. They will be seeing us again, soon!
Casual dining at it's best. A short but expertly prepared menu with new specials all the time. Tonight's Korean Burrito was supurb, as was the Fat Alberta flight. Just be prepared for the family seating and placing your own order at the bar.
I had the Korean Chicken Wings..awesome as usual..enjoyed them very much
Great selection of beers! Something for everyone. Nice casual place to hang out and catch up with friends.
This place is a headache to navigate. No table service and long lines to order. On a busy day, you can wait in line for a half hour or more just to get to the counter and order a beer.
It's also totally disorganized. They have wait staff who can't take any orders. Not for food or beer anyway. All they can do is run orders to the table and get you water. Maybe another fork, if you're lucky.
If you have kids, don't bring them here. It's a disaster. They'll spend a lifetime waiting for a cup of milk or a peanut butter sandwich, and they'll get super cranky in the process. That said, you'll still find plenty of families there, the unwitting parents finding out the hard way.
I honestly can't figure out who this place is for. It's terrible for families. There doesn't seem to be a bunch of young professionals there to meet up, or meet someone new. Not that the environment is conducive to having a conversation anyway. Basically, it seems like they're primarily a brewery and the restaurant is an afterthought.
Go and find out for yourself, because it's probably worth it to visit once to satisfy your curiosity. But best bets are that you'll walk away feeling like the restaurant is just a marketing gimmick, designed to promote their beers.
The food is OK, but not great. It's definitely over priced. They try too hard to be interesting in their menu. Everything sounds good. You'll think, "I never thought of making that dish like that." But the only ingredient they forgot was flavor. Everything is bland.
This place just isn't worth the hassle, or the money.
Always great time here. One of the best breweries in the Seacoast, and the food is incredible.
Casual seat-yourself dining with counter service. Indoor outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome outdoors and the entire place is super family friendly. It's a great place to come with the family and enjoy what's left of Summer.
Cans, growlers available for filling, current tap list always online.
The beer is certainly not bad but it is not over-the-top great. The atmosphere is far better in the summer. The food was very good.
Such a beautiful and fun brewery. The. We re are delicious and creative. They have a great food menu using fresh ingredients from the garden and able to accommodate allergies. There is a large outdoor patio you can enjoy your beer and look at the beautiful farm.
Food is good and unique, the beer is fantastic and the location is beautiful. It's a little pricey but they are very focused on local sourcing which I'm happy to pay a little extra for.
This pandemic has been a tough thing to navigate, for everyone. Throwback has done an exceptional job handling changes to protect their customers, both thoughtfully and respectfully. I felt totally at ease with the way they have adapted. Thanks Throwback! And as always, your Korean wings and barbacoa tacos, along with you sour/gose beers, are OUTSTANDING!
Absolutely delicious! They had a decent selection of gluten free options for people with allergies and the prices were great for the portions. Be warned the portions are large! We got the korean wings (gf), onion dip and the schnitzel and it was all outstanding. Beer was tasty too!
All the beer we had was excellent and innovative, and the staff were awesome. A must stop on any Maine beer tour.
This is a great local brewery. Throwback produces an astounding number of varying brews considering their relatively small size. Expect to find at least 10 to choose from at any time. The food is also very great and not to be missed.
Great place to stop in for a few rounds. There are many beers to choose from! From simple to adventurous. Outdoor seat as well as indoor and bar seating. Large parking lot. Dog friendly outside.
Went here for the first time. I can't say enough good things! Feels like home for an out-of-towner like me. Great food, atmosphere, people... I wish I had known about this place sooner! I will be back everytime I come to town.
Very organized and COVID-19 safe, which was a good step to tasting great beer & food. Staff was very good and accommodating. We would definitely go back!
Highly recommended. Super chill vibes despite the pandemic restrictions. These guys are not just working with the New Normal they're excelling at it. Dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us dog owners and patrons alike. Great beers, lots to choose from, and a "just enough", albeit kinda pricey, menu if you get hangry in between beverages. Corgi-approved digs!
Great beer! It's cozy inside, and relaxing outside. You can buy your pint and sit outside in a farm-style patio.
This brewery is housed in a farm and was amazing. There is a large outside with colorful fabric shades and it s off course dog friendly. There was a bit of a wait for a seat and no line so a bit cutthroat, but once seated we could barely be persuaded lto eave. Every brewery should feature chickens and goats right near the tables . The boys loved watching both. The dog just looked hungry. Thankfully the food was just as good as the beer here and we thoroughly enjoyed wings and burgers. The beer has a ton of variety and some interesting beer styles not commonly found elsewhere like a Norwegian grisette. We really didn t want to leave.
The beer was fresh and interesting. The service was friendly but they never placed our order. So after 45 minutes we paid for the beers and left.
The 8 Oz was really 6. I guess it was the heat that shrunk the mug
Just went to Throwback for the first time this afternoon because we were looking for a new place to try in Hampton area. We arrived not realizing we should have made reservations, but were able to be seated on a picnic table in field. No umbrella was installed for this table so we were in full sun so anxious to get drinks and quick bite to eat and check this place out. After waiting 15 mins no server came to our table so we were getting ready to leave when a server went to the table next to us to see if they wanted more drinks, they declined so we thought for sure she would come to us next, NOPE! Ignored us and left so guess what so did we. Won't be going back there again if this is their idea of service. Also saw as we were waiting several waitstaff talking up under a service area under an umbrella. It's a shame cause we so were looking forward to trying this place because it looked nice online. We own a place in Hampton Beach and always give new places a try. They lose!
This is a Dover area gem, a spacious micro brewery that also serves food. The out door seating area faces a field, it's very peaceful. Def. worth a stop.
Farm to table with attached brewery. How can you go wrong!
Outdoor and indoor seating available. Ordering process is different but rather effective. Goto the bar place order they give you a bobblehead to place at the table of your choice. They bring food and drinks over very quickly.
Menu contains some great items. Our personal favorite is the Korean wings. The specials change often and always good.
Do not expect to get a diet coke/pepsi here. But they do have other options. The food is so good it s amazing not having that option is insignificant!
Staff is friendly and well trained. Live music outside in summertime to boot.
This place is destination trip worthy.
Why do they ask for for a tip before you get your food?
Cool spot. Easily missed if you weren't going there on purpose. It truly is on a farm and inside an old converted barn house. Ordering was a little different but easy enough. Similar to Panera Bread but they will drop off your food to your table. Good quality food.
Great beer and enlightened food menu at a great outdoor location. Definitely a place to check out!
Excellent spicing of the food. I had the chili bowl.
Fantastic beer selection, food menu is unique and well crafted. Staff is pleasant and attentive. Fun atmosphere and dog friendly.
So many beers to choose from and the food was way better than expected.
Awesome. A little pricy but absolutely worth it. You get what you pay for.
My boyfriend and I went to Throwback Brewery for their barrel aged tasting event. It was a great event. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back when it's warm to sit outside and explore more.
They are doing a great job with safety, the food is phenomenal, beer is amazing, and they have the best staff anywhere!
This brewery is amazing, they have a great selection of beer. We were at the bar then went out side prior to a rain storm, once the rain came through we moved back inside. The bartender found us a seat at the bar even though they were taken names for seats at the bar (which normally doesn t happen). The food and drinks and staff were great, highly recommended.
Really good beer, with good variety from there 15 taps, and the food both tastes good and is high quality.
One of our favorite places. Great beer and atmosphere. The kitchen is very efficient and food arrives quickly. Our burgers are always cooked perfectly and we enjoy the variety of roasted vegetable sides. A staple in our household.
Went on the beer tour on the brew bus. Stopped here got numerous samples of what was on tap and an explanation of how they were brewed. Owners super nice can't wait to go back and try the food
Loved the food and the atmosphere here. Very down to earth with everything made from local products.
Everything in here is local or farm to table. They make about sixteen varieties of beer at any given time and use local farms for the ingredients for that too. Haven't had a bad experience yet.
Outstanding local food and nice selection not beers!
You don't usually do to a brewery for the food but our dishes were spectacular and fresh!
Excellent beers set on a farm. The American Dream place.
Great brewery with awesome food. Very cute inside and a wonderful patio outside. Falafel burger with kale and quinoa salad and three onion dip with chips was delicious. Will definitely be back.
Good beer, good food, fun staff and a great area to just hang out. Highly recommend for beer lovers.
This place is awesome. It has a large range of beers of varying types. The prices are pretty typical for the beer. The food is farm to table style. We ordered the fried rice bowl with tofu and it was delicious. The place was busy but the service was still pretty quick. There's an indoor and outdoor area. They also apparently have animals you can see if they aren't busy
I adore this restaurant! They prepare high class meals, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that place is very trained, I like a lot trying all their food. The food is consistently fresh, the service towards the clients is very good too. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.
Food and service we're outstanding. The beer is fantastic. A great place to go with family and friends.
Food was great, beer was good, the inside and ordering can be somewhat chaotic and confusing.
Take a seat at the bar. No, really; that's the best place to sit when it's busy. This is a good place with a good, interesting, and diverse beer selection. The food menu covers a lot of ground, and there's good choices for everyone in your group. The only problem I've had here is the ordering system. If you're seated at the bar, no worries. But there's no table service; if you're at a table and want food or drinks, you have to get in a single line with every other hungry and thirsty patron and wait to get up to the single register for anyone seated at a table. This can take a while. That's not to say it's not worth it. It just seems like there could be a better system.
Try the jalapeno pilsner if it's there. It's a hard flavor to get right in a beer, but they do.
One of the coolest breweries! The founders were great to talk to. The new restaurant was great too. Worth checking out if you're into the local/craft beer scene.
An unplanned stop along the way. $15 BLT !!! Lol, worth every bite! OMG it melted in your mouth. Served with sweet potato fries. Food was delicious. We sat outside with our dog. Had a beer and lunch. If your in the area it's worth trying.
Weekend Brunch! This was the most creative menu I have seen in awhile. Totally impressed! I had the duck Benedict. Layers of yummy flavor I didn t want it to end. Home fries were good but the sweet potato fries are amazing. I grabbed one off my friends plate. Love the location and fun vibe too.
Nice hangout to catch up with friends! So many different beers!
Had a delicious lunch with great beer! I will be back again!
Very cold. Don't like family seating. Food and beer were very good.
Great northern home cookin and. Drinkin atmosphere. Love it.
