We had Amazing time at Alpine Heath this past weekend!

Everything from the hospitality of the staff to the chalets were terrific.

This place is a must on your to do list.

We enjoyed hiking, horse rides and numerous other activities all within the resort.

Very relaxing and I definitely feel like I've had a holiday.

A piece of me will always remain at Alpine... Will definitely be back!

Alpine heath resort was very nice ...the chalet was clean and neat. The place was a peaceful getaway.... the only problem we picked up was that there was no fan or aircon in the living area in the front because the weather was so hot ut was unbearable...the fans in rooms are not even worth it cos the heat was bad.... alpine really needs to put aircon in their chalets..... we couldn't believe there was no fans or aircon in a 4 star chalet... even the shop hardly has supplies u in the mountains u have to take everything with u from home.... abit disappointing

We attended Team Building Workshop the place is out of this world designed exactly for that isolation from disturbance to focus on the build of ones character back to its normality.

Brilliant incredible family fun, tranquil settings. Beautiful and Clean.The most magnificent views and hiking trails. Excellent and friendly staff. Wow the activities for the kids just amazing. Brilliant entertainment provided daily. Kareem the entertainment manager deserves a gold star award. So much to do for the whole family.

Every unit facing the mountain range ... breathtaking. Lovely room service ,pool always clean . U greeted at reception by the local mascot, a blooming peacock.

Swimming Pools needed another 2 to accommodate for the size of the resort and its guests.
Venue and views are breathtakingly picturesque.

This is a very tranquil retreat , literally on the foot of the drakensburg mountain. Hiking trails ; game viewing and mountain climbing are amongst some of the activities u can enjoy while staying at this 5 resort . Had an awesome time.

Buffet Breakfast and Buffet dinner, just wow. Completely worth it, compliments to the Chef and the staff. Pizza really tastey.
Chalets are very clean and beds are comfortable. Everything works.
As for my son, he was always entertained loving the kids zone and Cinema's, the pool, the Pin Ball, Chess, Jumping castle and following the Alpine Peacock around. He just loves it here. Coctails amazing, atmosphere amazing, entertainment amazing.

Lots of activities for kids. Came here over new year's. Peaceful and the trails were excellent. The Alpine cascades is wonderful and worth the slightly challenging path to get to the cascade waterfalls.

Very spacious, well-kept complex, with daily animation program, village market, coffee shop, pizza, restaurant and church. Many opportunities for exercise and of course a swimming pool. For day visitors a fee of e.g. Z. 70 ZAR, which are acknowledged in the form of a voucher, redeemable in all shops and restaurants.

We ran a Photobooth for a function and stayed overnight. Great staff. Great service.

Bekumnandi la, the staff is very friendly and helpful kanti bathembekile. It's a nice quiet area for resting and recharging plus you connect with nature!

It u a very nice resort will amazing facilities but there is no one to tour you and show the place so you have to fine the thing yourself and that was hard for me but either way it is a very nice place

Average place. Comfortable, GOOD breakfast. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Lots of cockroaches in chalets and ant infested.

Such a beautiful view of the Drakensberg mountains. The place is quiet and loved that..... A great get away from the buzzing city life. The chalet I was in was clean and so organized.

Terrific place! Awesome service from reception right up to the GM, Gawie. Has every facility for a restful, peaceful, quiet stay or an adrenaline fun outing for the brave at heart. We enjoyed the Horseriding, bingo, putt putt, table tennis, squash and pool. We'll maintained and of high standards. Definitely coming back again!

Very Lovely self catering resort. All you need is found within the resort gates. Once you arrive, there is no need to leave until you check out. There are a large number of activities to entertain everyone, young and old. From Putt Putt to disco nights. Everyone will find something entertaining to participate in.

Location beautiful, chalets big and comfortable. Furniture outdated and kitchen pots and pans of poor quality. Restaurant a big disappointment, limited food, small portions at hefty prices and inconsistent pricing. Shop not stocked very well. Wonderful place for families and children lots of facilities offered.

Well kept and ideally placed to explore places like Royal National Park and have a great time exploring the various trails and facilities.

The actuvities available kept us busy the whole weekend. The views of the mountains are superb. The housekeeping stuff, always on time to clean the place. The place is just pure fun. The stuff is friendly.

Good all round holiday venue. Enough activities for the young and old. The food is great.

Excellent place for a family adventure. Lots of fun filled activities for the entire family. Horse riding, pools, sport areas, and loads more. Very long drive but worth the wait.

Amazing resort. Simply loved everything about Alpine Heath. Highly recommend it. Definitely going back there.

What a stunning place to be. Beautiful mountains, beautiful sunrise.

It's an outstanding, relaxing place. Very much every penny. It is suitable for all ages , from kids to adults. There are programmes for everyday so you will never be bored.

The resort is set in some beautiful scenery. The hiking trails offered are also amazing!! There is also a spa which offers wonderful massages at good prices.

Suggestions to the resort:
1. The chalet should be cleaned a bit better. We found spiders, spider webs, and cockroaches in the bathrooms.
2. While there are activities planned such as minute-to-win-it and family bingo, they were extremely short (5 minutes). The resort should look to extending these activities.
3. The equipment should be reconditioned. The pool set is incomplete and there is only one stick. Some of the tennis rackets are damaged.
4. The putt putt area needs to be better lit and cleaned. There are leaves and insects that restrict play. There should also be better planning in terms of safety as some standing positions are precarious.
5. The toilets in the chalets should be revamped. We had a seat in ours that kept falling.

I will definitely revisit this place as it promises great hikes, scenery, activities, stargazing. I would just appreciate the small things mentioned above to be addressed.

What an amazing place. I was lucky enough to go in the off season. It was beautiful with lots to do. The view is like nothing else on earth. Stunning. The horse riding was incredible and something everybody could do. The staff were kind and helpful. The barman were great.

This place is unique, you have a lot of hiking to do on your own

Fun filled extremely exciting place to visit for the whole family. All activities like hiking, table tennis, squash, tennis courts, mountain biking, swimming , putt putt and chess are just some off the entrainment. Throughly enjoyed it and will definitely recommend this place to everyone to visit.

Love this place. Love the fact that they have a kids lounge, and activities the whole Day! Relaxing, beautiful it totally feels like your own piece of paradise. Will defnitely return.

Awesome place. It's got amazing view of the mountains. There is a small oond inside. Apart from that the palace is clean, has WiFi (little slow), great service and lots of activities for children ( eg. Chess, balloon throwing, sand art, swimming, horse riding) ample parking space, great for walking and cycling. Super safe. The cafe inside has amazing food especially pizza and chicken schnitzel. There is a small theatre inside.

So spacious, friendly staff, easy check in. Clean & neat.

Staff are friendly, a few hickups with dinner but seriously enjoyed myself!
