I m writing this review not as a direct customer but due to an experience with a Tormax technician at an HEB (Slaughter/Escarpment, Austin TX) store on 11/10. The technician was working on the side, on a sliding door. I passed through the door, he became upset and said are you kidding me?? He got angry that I passed through his work area .
First off, his work area had no signs and wasn t cordoned off in any way. There was no caution tape or even a cone that closed off the entrance. Anyone could have walked right through. Second, he was holding a sliding door which looked heavy, all by himself. He could have lost his balance easily and it could have landed on a customer who happens to walk by, all because he did not observe any basic safety measures. He rolled his eyes and was visibly agitated at this point, yelling at me, telling me that I walked right through his work area.
When I walked back into the store, I found him complaining to the store manager at how someone just walked right through his work area. At this moment, he had a 3-ft ladder he had placed to block off the entrance, and nothing else. The HEB manager was profusely apologetic while the Tormax technician was still mumbling under his breath and kept rolling his eyes. He apologized because I was offended . Clearly, this is not a case of being offended but being disrespected. I have no doubt this man has a history of being disrespectful to anyone, judging from how easily he was angered and me being a small, minority woman in everyday clothes made it easier for him to treat me this way.

Tormax - your tagline is Passion for Doors but this man has a complete absence of passion for his work and compassion for others. Shame.

Have these automatic doors at one of the hotels. Seven years no issues. Bamm.

Service department is top notch. People are helpful.

Great group of folks that we have worked several projects on. They get there when we need them and get the job done.

Their service department is horrible
Run from these guys their warranty is a scam they have hidden charges
and send you invoice for simple warranty issues

Tormax usa inc, I have call them to speak with tech support, they never let me speak to any of the tech, the lady was on the phone she have never try to contact for me for my questions, instead she was keep explaining me same stuff over and over I cant speak to tech, they have to come out at site to answer and the answer will cost me $150.00 what's a point ? when they cant have answer for journal questions, , compare to Stanley door company the service is not good she hung up the phone on me , I think Stanley door company its batter to have for any automatic door required.

I pick up a load of battering out of this place they took 4 hours to load me and they didn't even have a restroom for me to use
