Nice Old hotel. Amazing views around hotel. I recommend 100%
Rather small resort with fast lifts, nice view and good snow
Great location right by the slopes and cross country tracks. Rooms are cozy and restaurant serves tasty food. Parking might be an issue if you come during high season.
We loved the scenic views from the mountain top, the friendly people and staff and the lodge itself. The beds were very comfortable and the room had tv, if u wish. My only complain t is I wish they had some flat area to put something down in the bathroom, like your eye glasses. We could dine in the lodge or go out. Coffee and tea was always available at the main desk. The food in the 2 dining areas was wonderful. I found a little nook in the cafe dining area that has a library in a circular room with tables. So you could sit with ur coffee and read while taking in the view. We all loved it.
The rooms were dated, as the rest of the hotel. I had to rearrange lightbulbs to get all the lamps working with at least one lightbulb, the corridor my room was in had surely humidity problem and was doubling as storage space for towels and bed linens, the downstairs bar was manned one night out of five. The beds themselves were comfy, and all meals were decent buffet food, nothing mind blowing but good enough.
The upside is the location and the view which is not bad at all.
Very good quality to price ratio. Convenient location, near the ski slope. Very good food
Could have been better. Such a shame that dinnerbufee that cost 435 nok each was not as good as the breakfast bufee. The room smelled of mildue. But very comfortable beds. Hot tub in spa had a common gardenhose with warm water running through. The third star is just because the service and hospitality of staff were very good.
