Not an issue of quantity as I realize higher end restaurants are not known for a large volume of food, but are about quality. I found the food good, but not outstanding and when paying as much as this, I admit to having higher expectations that were not quite met. My dinner partner had some salmon that was a bit...

I came here not expecting much, I've lived in the area for years and passed by it countless times. Not too long ago word came that this place was great. So I decided to give it a try, and let me tell you, I regret not having done it sooner. The restaurant is quaint and the staff are all very friendly. Theo's is perfect for anytime: breakfast, lunch, dinner and even the occasional brunch. The food is consistently good, the options are great, and portions are generous. Overall this is a perfect place to go with friends or with your significant other. I have and will continue to dine here.
Side note: If you're a burger lover like myself then I can wholeheartedly recommend their burgers. They're juicy, thick, and cooked to order.
From the moment we walked into the entrance and were greeted with enthusiasm by the maitre d, then led to window seat, we felt we were in for a treat! We were Not disappointed! We were immediately brought water and further adult beverages were ordered,
Great food and good service been going there for a few years now and although there was some issues at first there is a reason why they have lasted the so long
Ordered my usual, beef liver. Brought bowling teammates in to eat as well. They had steak. Very moist and didn't need any steak sauce. Food prepared outstanding.
Every parking spot was filled when we arrived, the place was packed, but call ahead seating had us only waiting for fifteen minutes. Their service staff reminded me of an aircraft carrier launch crew. Everything kept flowing in spite of what appeared to be chaos. Each of our meals was perfectly prepared, and their rolls are superb. We enjoyed every...
The place is an easy location to get to. Very clean. Waitresses and workers very pleasant. Food reasonably priced. Food very good ...not salty. Seating very nice. Down home feel. I would visit again. I would refer this place to others!
Theo's is a great place to get breakfast in Grand Prairie at a great price. Do not expect anything out of the ordinary but just really good food and service!
Oh my goodness. I never even knew this place was almost right around the corner from my place. It has by far the best food in general than I have ever had. The best buffalo chicken salad, fried okra, chicken wings, and to top it off, the absolute BEST freaking apple pie, warmed with a scoop of ice cream, than I have EVER had!! You have to try this place!!
the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and everything on the menu is delicious. i've been coming here for years and still cant pinpoint a favorite entree because it's all delicious
My family and I have been eating here for a long time. The owners and staff are like family. The atmosphere is great and friendly, food is great. We usually go for breakfast and our coffee cups always stay filled (very important with 3 kiddos lol)
Poor service . Waiter Bridget had the worse attitude problem . Then the owner comes to the table not wanting to honor my mothers military ID because she is retired... "we only give this to people in uniform" ... I'm really confused because we come here atleast once a week ...and ALWAYS use the military discount. never again will be come back and waste our money on a place who has piss poor service and depicts on what they honor .
Homemade food away from home that has never disappointed me. Over a decade of dining at Theo's and seeing the same customers having a meal tells me I'm not the only one that feels at home there.
Yesterday was my first day coming here and the waiter kept rushing us to eat to pay and complained to us about how her kitchen crew were talking mess to her because my cousin had placed an order to go didn't offer us a refill and kept complaining that it was our fault that everyone was mad at her.... I hope I don't ever run into someone like that at any other place ever again bad service!!!!! Would have given this place a NO STAR RATING but that wasn't an option, so 1 star to me is this place is TRASH!
This place is cool - like stepping back in time to a late 70's to early 80's diner, and they have a bar and club in the back. The food is good and the staff are nice. Edit: I and the majority of the group I was with here on November 19th 2017 got food poisoning.
Over crowded if i can reach over and touch u without extending my arm fully and can hear ur private conversation your to close. Over priced in my opinion to there food isnt anything special to be charging prices like that. However the people are friendly respectful at all times and fairly quick to get what u need not counting the meal itself but anything else.
The food is GREAT. its like everything is good. I'm always looking for affordable places to eat at and its just that as well. you definitely get your moneys worth. very homey feeling and the waitress are nice as well. I wasn't expecting much from here when I first walked in but luckily i was pleasantly surprised. their drinks are delicious as well.
Been there at least 6 times with my wife and her family i have never ate the same meal and every plate I eating was very good that I having try dessert cause to full. I have told my friend and they enjoy the food there
Great food with an old-fashioned home-town feel. Been going there for years. Our favorite is breakfast. We even have them deep-fry our French toast on occasions. Wow! It's amazing! It's like being at the State Fair.
The menu had a very wide variety of foods. The service was excellent. The portions were more than I expected. The food tastes fantastic. I will definitely go back!
