The theatre musical was great but the food in The Apron restaurant was really average
Want to see crazy for you. Fantastic performance yet again
Awsome to go to the theatre, its a great venue. Friendly pleasant staff
Great productions of Les Miserables on tour.
Theatre is modern, clean and comfy. Attracts quite a lot of talent, the only place us in the SW often get to see things.
Really enjoyed the whole experience. Saw Matilda. Seating roomy and with a good view throughout the theatre. Prices reasonable. Staff friendly. Queues for loo athalf time, so go before, if you get the chance
Comfortable seating although the tiring could have been a little steeper to see over the person in front and the toilets were hard to find and up or down steeod. There was a disabled toilet but quite a question for this. I was offered a free to use audio enhancement system but neither my colleague or I could get this to work maybe it was not actually turned on. Not withstanding all of this it's a excellent venue and I thoroughly enjoyed the show I went to see
Performances great just need to work on customer services
Theatre is excellent. Current production of Calender Girls is a must for your diary.
Lovely location, very clean and comfortable. Staff very welcoming. Been here several times now and enjoyed it every time.
Extremely great venue! Love the acoustics and its style. Great, polite, helpful staff and the artists are all pros.
Quite accessible with adequate seating and good view down to the stage. There are lifts up to the upper levels for the elderly although I didnt notice if there was access for the disabled. The building seeme sound and well maintained bur the sound system was somewhat overpowering.
Nice and clean, excellent staff and a brilliant performance.
Visit to The Drum. A intimate venue for new works. A way to enjoy theatre for a very reasonable price.
Lovely hotel staff very friendly and helpful our room was clean and tidy and quite spacious could also recommend the food.
Like e going as a treat as its expensive but I understand why.
Been to several musical shows here which have all been A1. We like the atmosphere, the place is modern and well presented. Service is pleasant and efficient. Parking is close by, as are places for a pre-show drink or meal if you don't want to eat at the theatre (where the food is good). Saw the Carole King story which was brilliant.
Fantastic experience. Could do with cup holders in seats... but fab place
Suppose it depends what you are going to watch but our experience was excellent.
Staff very helpful really good profomance of Kinky Boots
Modern theatre with helpful staff and pleasant surroundings.
Very nice experience with a cafe. Ice cream served between breaks in the show
Great place for an occasional visit. bit expensive for a regular one.
Having not been to a show at the Theatre Royal for a number of years, I wasn't sure what to expect but the overall experience was a very pleasurable one. The show, An Inspector Calls, was very enjoyable and although we were seated quite high up the view and acoustics were good. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Altogether a good evening out.
Very little knee room although the seat is reasonably comfortable
It was AMAZING. I used to work there and things have changed for the better. Much improved. Thank you.
Excellent. Restaurant food and service is fantastic.
We had a fantastic time and the best show ever. The whole audience loved it and joined in with the cast with songs and and a standing ovation at the end...
Good play, lots of toilets which is always welcome, but could still do with more ladies, We're always having to queue! Car park behind is close but more expensive than western way.
A great mix of shows throughout the year. Box office staff are really helpful when it comes to selecting where to sit. The meals in the restaurant are very good. Finally the ushers are really helpful when guiding you to your seat. a great experience all round
Great venue, great staging. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Being a southerner, and used to London theatres, and audiences, I would choose the Plymouth Theatre Royal everytime. I have been to many productions here and always thoroughly enjoy the whole experience.
O was grampy for small seat, ( 1 g) but theater, actors and story by war hors is amazing!!! My deep pologise and thanks very much!!!
Some good shows on, comfy seats (even for a 6ft 3 chap) and plenty of parking nearby. Only downside is the silly prices usually double or triple what you'd pay elsewhere for the same show.
Nice evening in this exciting place.. Up to normal standard
Marvellous theatre encouraging both new work and housing established block busters.
Always good shows often the start of the big touring shows
Love this theatre. It modern comfortable and welcoming. Great place to meet up for a drink or a coffee and the seating for shows is very comfortable
Easy to find. All good wih tickets etc.Toilets plentiful and clean.
Fantastic performance of Matilda.
Really lovely evening out here watching Club Tropicana. Good view from seat and good acoustics.
Lovely friendly and helpful staff. The whole place is clean and seating is comfortable too.
Went to see summer holiday starring Ray Quinn it was a fantastic show 1st night and the cast had a standing ovation
Delightful experience only criticism is poor sign posting for conveniences!! Other than that a great experience, restaurant staff attentive polite and courteous nothing was too much for them and the menu was very good
Love seeing the shows but more parking meters needed
I had a fantastic time!! Can't wait till i go again!
Beautiful ballet! Bit more seating the the cafe would be good!
Les Mis great show
.
Always friendly staff, great food, outstanding deserts, and great performances. Even when the shows are not to my liking {rarely}, the actors are extremely talented. Highly recommend this theater.
Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. I love that the foyer is modern, but the theatre feels traditional. I'd definitely recommend you give it a try.
Watching any show or musical here is an absolute joy, when my husband and I book tickets we usually book a table the food is beautiful, the staff helpful. Will always go back
Had a great night watching the Birmingham Royal Ballet perform Aladdin at the theatre Royal Plymouth.
Great experience watching The Worst Witch with my 6 year old daughter. Theatre was clean with helpful staff. Booster seats were available for little ones. Great job!
Great theatre. Modern and lots of space. Was in the main theatre but there is also a studio theatre there.
Fantastic views of the stage and comfey seats.
Good choice of bars and big car park behind the theatre.
Just a few mins walk from the bus stops.
Clean, tidy, good restaurant, great auditorium with plenty of legroom for taller (myself) people. Great shows.
Excellent venue for shows, chosen many times for pre West end productions try out, currently An Officer and Gentlemen within the next few weeks. Able to produce West end standard shows for reasonable prices. Good access to parking with varied restaurant selections close by for pre show dining
