We're mostly just for Christmas to the English play "A Christmas Carol", but the organization is here it from purchasing tickets through the wardrobe or snack in the break always work properly.

It is a beautiful theater in an equally beautiful city, Ulm. I saw La Cage aux Folles last December, very beautiful, amazing performers, fabulous costumes.
This theater, although now refurbished, is the oldest in Germany and offers excellent productions: operas, concerts, dance.

I really liked the theater. Everything is well organized, wardrobe assigned to the seats, snacks and drinks for the break can be selected and paid for before the performance. You get a table number and then you can find your order at the table in the break. The seats in the theater hall are comfortable and well divided. All in all recommendable!

The theater is the main theater in Ulm. Architectural style 1970s exposed concrete, but well divided architecturally. That night there was the Pirates of Penzance, a comic opera from England in 1879. Time critical for back then, hardly understandable today. The stage design was modern and the actors and singers ok. But it is not my taste, rather a real opera or modern musical.

The piece played was unfortunately not that good. Theater itself is good. Good acoustics and the stage can be seen from all seats. The catering during the break is well organized and the prices are normal for the location. Parking facilities are unfortunately a bit inadequate. Public transport stops almost directly in front of it

The atmosphere in the theater is breathtaking. I am impressed, will be back.

The theater is a bit old and has a 70s charm. After all, the seats were renewed. But I really like the performances. I especially recommend the performances on the podium. Small but nice is the motto.

Very nice there. Only in the long run you can no longer get air in the room and it stank, very cramped. But the actors were really great :-)

In this three-branch house (music theater, dance theater and drama) performances are offered at the highest level. A visit is definitely worthwhile and you can end the successful evening in the numerous pubs and restaurants in Ulm.

The French choreographer offers children (4+) an excellent acting program. Designed for preschoolers.

Good theater for Ulm. Very good connection to local public transport.

Mediocre city theater. Many performances are nice and well thought out, but there is a certain lack of seriousness (when I constantly find myself sitting in a nightclub rather than in the theater, where you are constantly blinded by the expensive headlight system, too much color, light and light) Kitsch) and inventiveness. Classics are rarely performed, and if very thin. Only the ballet can currently be seen, My Fair Lady as a musical with a very good lead actor convincing! Lucia Di Lammermoor in itself homogenous and dramatically intellectual, unfortunately the orchestra in passages drowning out the passable singers.

I have been going there for many years. It looks great from the outside, but it's functional. Only short distances within the building. Parking is a bit short. If you want to park under the theater, you should come early. Otherwise, there are many parking spaces in the area, and two parking garages (Deutschhaus and Salzstadel) are depending on 5-10 minutes walk away. It is also nice that there are many cafes and restaurants to end the evening nicely ...
What is the philosophy of the house? They manage the balancing act between tradition and modernity in their performances. The podium in the basement also has interesting performances. I sometimes wish for more classics in the performances or in the offer!

Beautiful theater with everything you need. In addition, there are operas (I have often played before) plays and musicals these are almost always written by young motivated artists why they are also full of energy

"Written on skin" was horrible ... completely idiotic plot ... not to mention the music !! Admirable the musicians who had to play this terrible disharmonic music and the singers who had to sing the heavy music and terrible lyrics.

Great new seats, a cool drink at a reasonable price during the break and the concert by the Vienna Comedian Harmonists a complete success! Great!!!

I have a subscription and that means I'm watching ten events a year. The great thing is, I often see unknown performances I would never go to. This is an exciting experience every year.

The theater is an integral part of the cultural scene in Ulm and has always fascinated me in the field of operas. Of course, this is due not least to the great personalities on stage, who always attract the theater. The atmosphere at a grandiose premiere causes me goose bumps, that's partly because of the audience atmosphere and partly because of the unique ambience of the theater house. Of course, one or the other implementation of a piece sometimes my taste does not meet, but on the whole is here created worth seeing, from the entertaining piece to the serious criticism of our society. Therefore, the theater has earned the years of renovation. The only downside is the huge Kostenberg, which has continued to rise after the first estimate.

Very nice, musical place. The musicians are very friendly, the reception greets you with a smile. What more could you want. I'm almost at home here

Culture in a nice and interesting city theater. Belongs to Ulm like the Munster. Varied program. 3 division house. Cozy atmosphere in the halls and around them. Intendant change September 2018. Tickets can be bought on the website with exact space.

Excellent and original performance, a visit to the Ulm Theater is always worthwhile.
