It has been a very enjoyable day for me. It is a nice place for taking pictures and has a good atmosphere. I was amazed by the organization, hygiene and equipment to cool people in the heat. I think there can be no better place than this to spend a nice day with a family. Thank you to the Zoo team for everything.

A must visit place for families with kids. There are many animals and the best part is that the zoo is quite interactive. There is a slide and a crawl through tunnel to view otters and crocodiles.
There s also a net bridge going right over the alligator exhibit and is a very good experience
The lion ,gorilla and chimp exhibits have caves beside them for additional viewing which is fun for kids!
The best part for kids is the ocean voyage splash pad! Good way of cooling off after walking through the zoo.
Also there are mist sprayers stationed all over the zoo to help people cool down when it s very sunny.
Very well maintained and a must see in Miami!
Fun place to visit. Gorgeous vegetation. Quite large and took about 3 1/2 hours to walk through without kids. That's without taking time to feed the giraffes, which looked pretty fun. The elephants seemed really happy (I think). They didn't even throw things at us. Lots to see.

Besides the fabulous animals and plants - it feels like a botanical garden at times - it is very clean, there are restrooms accessible throughout and lots of kid friendly activities.
It is also a conservation minded establishment - the restaurants and stores are plastic light (no plastic straws or lids available, for example).
The cycles for rent look like a blast. We loved riding the tram.
We appreciated the really nice big habitats for the animals compared to other zoos we ve visited. The rhinos and elephants are so awesome! As well as the Four Eyed Fish . Also so many benches situated in the shade - such a nice touch.
Things we thought could have been improved: better coffee available and in more places. The only cup I could find was that once place near the entrance. Step stools for the little ones in the bathrooms would be much appreciated. The souvenir cups should be paper ! Ha ha I realize they came free with my pre-paid meal and I didn t have to get one, and wished I d declined when it was offered. Just was a big waste of soda and plastic.
Overall we all love this place and already have plans to return
We didn t rent the bicycle but it was great. We walked for 4 hours to look around everywhere. It was really hot day but Actually there are many shade areas more than I expected. There are lots of benches and smoking stops.
Also I was able to see zoo employees were taking care of animals very well. Really appreciate their effort and we will definitely visit again at the end of this year!
An amazing zoo with natural habitats and places for breaks to eat, drink or play. The "air boat" ride is cute for kids and a nice seated break for adults.
Taking our time to walk the entire zoo with breaks took about 4 hours for reasonably fit adults. Next time, we will rent the bikes.
First time visiting this zoo. It was super cute and absolutely loved the bicycles (which is a must if you plan to visit)! Best thing about it, no masks!!! Although one lady asked to put them on when entering *eye roll* but once inside no one wears them, especially on the bikes (because that would be absurd). It s worth going at least once.
Went to Zoo Miami today...it's Saturday so we were thinking it was going to be crowded and hot. Much to our delight there weren't a ton of people and there were tons of shaded spots, misters, and places to get drinks. There were so many animals out too so we got to see tons of them! It's a HUGE zoo so it took us several hours to see most of it. We will definitely be back!
My son had a wonderful time with me and my wife. We re still waiting for next time for visit. Most of the animals look great. I appreciate the staff working on the right thing to them. Even they re living there like in jails but treat them better.
