I had an awesome photo shoot experience this past weekend! It was very professional and I felt comfortable the entire time.

APPLICANTS BEWARE, POTENTIAL SCAM: $450 Startup Fee and no work for at least two months.

I hope my review helps you feel better prepared before investing in this organization; an opportunity I was not given.

I signed up with The Young Agency on July 17th. Bernadette was eager to get me started and told me the faster I pay the $450 website fee the faster I can get work. She told me I would get 3-4 castings a day (potential jobs).

Several days went by and I received nothing. I emailed Bernadette and Castings for help. I was told most of my photos were unacceptable, and that I need a head shot. I called my photographer spur of the moment so we could get this moving forward quickly.

After two weeks I still received nothing. I sent a respectful email asking for attention to my account and why I was not getting any castings. I was told the team would review my email and get back to me in 4 days.

I never received a response. All of my communication has been patient, respectful, and professional.

After a few days I started receiving castings. I received 1, maybe 2 castings a day, and sometimes days without any.

I applied to every casting I qualified for. In total, I have applied to 24 castings in 2 months. I have not had a single job or made a single dollar with The Young Agency.

I was made to believe the work was plentiful (3-4 castings a day) and that if I hurry and pay the fee I would get work sooner. Had I been told the truth, that castings were limited because of the pandemic and that it may take more than 2 months to get my first job, I may not have signed up.

I completely take back my review not sure how to delete it but they are 2 different company's and Steve explained it very well got a little mix up he completely understands

They have been amazing! I am so glad we signed on with this agency. Samantha is so fun, experienced, outgoing and helps my daughter feel comfortable enough to be herself. Leah and Bernadette have been so professional and helpful with any questions I have. I'm still waiting for my daughters comp cards to come in, but I have 100% trust that they will turn out beautiful. I'm looking forward to meeting Mrs. Young. This is an incredible modeling agency. I highly recommend this agency.

Thanks to all the staff at, The Young Agency for expanding my looks and talent on your website for talent bookings. Admittedly, the photo of me adds much request for my good looks and will also add much to my modelling success. Evidently, the staff at The Young Agency does much work to present my photo shot on their website in a professional, well thought out appealing and attractively presented to prospective clients. Certainly, I came to this conclusion because, after signing with the agency, in a short period of time, in less than a year, I have received many prestigious bookings from clients who have explored, The Young Agency website in search of a talent with my features.
Oh, yes indeed. Now, in the spirit of joy, I would like to extent my gratitude to the Young Agency staff to say thanks to the staff for working diligently to book me as the ever-demanding Freestyle model.
I truly enjoy my booking assignments and I feel good about the image I project to the clients. Most importantly, I have a good feeling of model high, knowing that I get to represent an agency that utilizes good publicity in television commercials and employs a caring staff who work hard to keep my image in the limelight.

On Tuesday on was booked in a paying Job it was a great experience, exposure, and a great time. I thank the Young agency for the opportunity to be there and having a great time.

Took my daughter to a casting call 4/9/19 dat there for 2 hrs and then the agent tried to charge me 500 fee to sign and for a test shoot which is suppose to be free did a lot of research and the company seems shady a agency is never suppose to ask for fees up front or charge for a test shoot that's how they make their money. Bad business my daughter was really looking forward to working with this company.

Like many of the reviews on here. I paid so much money to start up my 4 year old for modeling. We haven t gotten any calls and barely any castings for her age group. They are so quick to ask you to pay the money that first day and yet nothing comes out of it. I would suggest looking into other agencies and save your money. Waste of time and money.

Appreciate the Agency correcting the issue and providing me with updated information in a timely manner.

Everyone is Friendly smiling Faces and makes you feel welcome

I had a really great experience with them when I got signed as far as the customer service and experience, but they promised to send me at least 3 jobs a day to apply for.. I maybe get 3 jobs a month that actually apply to me (gender, age, height, etc). They didn't classify that I would be receiving jobs that I do not have the specifications for. Lack of communication is a huge issue as well. It was like they only cared about me when they were asking for money to be put on the website and get comp cards, after that I haven't heard back in months. It's clear they don't care much about their current clients and only obtaining new ones. My advice would be don't waste your time, find another agency.

UPDATE 9/12/20: Since I posted this review they have been a bit more communicative and supportive. I also have received more jobs to apply to, still haven't gotten any of the jobs though.

I paid to enroll 3 of my children as talents because they're super cute, They have tons of potential and this talent agency said they had lots of things for them I paid over a $1000 for start up for my kids, Then extra money to get their photos done because apparently the ones that they said would work didn't work anymore... Because they weren't professional enough... Although the ones they took were just outside, and didn't look as professional as the ones from JC Penney... And if you look at some of the kids on their website, They look like home photos... But they said that even though I paid the start up if I didn't get professional photos through them they couldn't start the website, In a total of over six months there has been like 2 casting opportunities and i haven't Heard anything after I applied for them, So this was a total waste of money for no opportunity!

A friendly and professional environment. They've helped me grow more confident as a model.

The Director called in I was on the phone Pamela Young was rude did not even introduce herself politely , and started arguing with the Director, and that is the owner for you terrible! I do not recommend this agency their talents have no talent as I researched them further run while you can!

Love THE YOUNG AGENCY!!! We just had our auditions there for a new film entitled "CYBERKILL". The talent and staff was amazing. Loved the atmosphere and very thankful they opened their doors to us. Big turn out as well. If you have a production company here in phoenix and if you are not using "The Young Agency", then you are making a big mistake. Again, I love this place and Im looking to work with them on our next feature. Big thanks to Pamela Young, Berna Blue, Leah Walden.. Great ladies!!!!

In my opinion The Young Agency deserves five stars because they are a top rate agency and always have their clients best interests at heart.

The Young Agency is extremely unprofessional. I sent in the submission form with a photo, they requested for me to fill out and send in an application and choose from the available time and dates for my daughter's interview/audition. I was told to email them 15 minutes prior to request the zoom link which I did no response whatsoever.

It's great to work with the Young Agency staff. They are very helpful and friendly throughout the booking process. They also work hard on getting their talent paid in a timely manner.

The Young Agency has been extremely friendly and helpful. I was booked for a job, given all detailed information quickly and received payment in a timely manner. I look forward to working with this agency in the future.

The Young Agency booked me on a paying job for a T.V. pilot in LA. I just signed with the Young Agency. I was blown away to be working a few weeks later. They give you opportunities around the nation. Very professional and very helpful.

We signed with the Young Agency over a year ago. My daughter has not had one call from The Young Agency throughout this year. I was concerned for her not being casted at all. So I set up a meeting. Not only did they take our $400 to begin with they then tried to pitch us for another $800. Not impressed at all with this agency and would not recommend.

Nice people who work at the agency, but my experience has sucked. I signed with them August, 2016, now Jan. 2018, I have not got any work yet with them. I have applied to many casting emails they send me, but never get a job. On two occasions they've replied back asking if I'd be available a certain date on a casting I applied for. But when I respond my availability I never hear back.

I've been with The Young Agency for seven years! They have always got me work and I've been very happy! They pay you ok time and book you very quick!

Both of my daughters are signed with The Young Agency. We have been very pleased with the jobs they have booked and with the professionalism of the staff at the agency. We recommend this agency!

Gave them 350 dollars for a photoshoot and acting class. Was told my edited photos would be sent through email and that I would receive physical copies as well a week or two later. Two months later I still haven't received anything and when I call to inquire about them it goes to voicemail. Had high hopes for this place but so far I'm very disappointed. I will change my review/perspective if things improve but for right now I'd save my money or go somewhere else if I were you.

I recommend The Young Agency based on my very positive experience with them. Everyone is very professional but also friendly and helpful. The workshops are effective and interesting as well as fun. I was offered the first job for an ad right away! And I did a runway show. being new to the business, I needed their guidance and they have been very helpful every step of the way.

I've worked with the Young Agency on a few projects now. They are quick to respond and very helpful. The Talent that we've hired has been great to work with as well. Keep up the good work.

An amazing experience working with a great team of staff and leaders at the Young Agency during Kids Fashion Week; such an honor. The level of professionalism an A plus. Had a lot of fun. The work and responsibilities, very tedious, and was definitely expected especially if you want to learn a lot about what goes on behind the scenes in the industry. Networking with staff, assisting designers, greeting guests, preparing and assisting with registration (rewarding). Hope to assist the Young Agency Team with projects again in the near future.

I was very excited to work with agency when I was signed in April of 2019 . The meeting was very positive and they loved my raw shots from LA (where I grinded for 2 years on my own after highschool ,to finally be seen by an agency) . They told me id need new headshots so I found a photographer that week and got new shots. Another meeting happened and again they loved my shots , I paid 300 for my website name and signed the papers. Later I receive an email saying my shots are not good now for my comp card and Id have to get more. Headshots arent cheap and im doing this all on my own so it would've been nice to know before I invested myself . Haven't heard anything since. :(

And I signed her with the Young Agency right before the pandemic. I was hesitant to invest in photos, although I understand that is the way She gets to be in front of casting directors who can pick her for a job as a modeling job. They told me I could bring my own professional Photos, so I appreciated that as well.

Pamela Young has always honest with me. The agency finds me work in a category that has little demand. The real problem is with the State of Arizona, which turns a blind eye to a clean industry and let's most of the work go to New Mexico. Only good vibes for the Young Agency.

They don t care about talent they only want your MONEY!!! This place is a SCAM!!!!!!!! BE CAREFUL AND DON T FALL FOR IT!

We were discussing putting our daughter into this modeling agency. When we decided to go a different route after hearing information that made us hesitant, the fee that was needed in order for a link to be posted on their site with her photo, and a no show incident. I wrote in an email kindly and professionally explaining that this wasn t the right step for our family to take at this current point in time in our lives. The response that I received back was very petty and very unprofessional and honestly left me speechless. Not to mention, going back to the no show incident, we originally came in for a signing appointment back in December the person who was supposed to show up never showed up to the appointment. They didn t answer the phone they didn t respond to emails and we waited over an hour for somebody to show up and nobody came. This agency needs to have a little bit of professionalism in all aspects of their business. It s a bummer because our daughter was really looking forward to start her modeling career.

Kidscadting and spoken with an old man in his 60s. I paid for my child Jacob back in 2010 when he was not even 1 years old yet and still a baby. I paid them 680 bucks and still had more to pay to get a photo submitted for a review. Couldn't pay anymore and they don't give your money back if u cant afford it. They should not be in business.

As a mom, I was so nervous on where to take my daughter for modeling. The Young Agency has eased all of those nerves, and really have supported us through the process. In just a short time she has been booked, and paid as a model. Her dreams are coming true and those at the Young Agency have made this happen. Can't thank them enough for their communication, kindness, and support!

Great place to get your child started in an acting career

Worst experience of my life. They told me they showed my picture to Lane Bryant and they loved my smile and wanted to work with me, so that sold me on sign up with Young and giving them money for a photo shoot.Young Agency got me to pay money for picture I never received and then when I followed up with them on the Lane Bryant comment they said they didn't know what I was talking about. They lie to your face, take your money and that's it. BEWARE!!!!!

after going to a audition they gave me a book and wanted me to pay thousands of dollars I don't even have I feel like they are just like John Casablancas

Extremely unpleased with our experience. Was forced into paying a fortune for very low grade quality pictures. Felt scammy when I asked where the pictures were several weeks after being promised they were taken by a big ranking photographer, they show up an hour later without any comments to my questions or concerns. I later find out from a mutual friend they had the exact experience. Sadly they take everyone after they ensure you pay for these extremely expensive extremely low quality photos. We were told the children would be highlighted on their social media pages...never happened.

Please please do not even entertain the idea of signing with this company. The woman in charge is crooked and unprofessional, and her employees are not much better.

Your time is better spent at a professional agency and not this sad excuse for one.

Good place to start modeling and get a good foundation in the industry
