I had gone here a few days ago and it was terrible. A few friends and I got there right at opening hoping for a good dining experience but it was completely awful. My friends and i all decided on cheeseburgers because they seemed appetizing and what we would assume would be the quikest because we were short on time. It took our 3 burgers 45 minutes to come out cold with the frues cold as well. when we asked the manager over he was rude to us and condecending because of our age mind you i am a 20 year old man as well as my friends being all the same age as me were all wearing nice clothes and acting politely. the manager took our food back to the kitchen and microwaved our food. i would have definatley expected more out of a 15 dollar burger. i would not advize anyone to step foot here!

This place is great! Went for happy hour and the feel of the place is great the people are cool! Evelyn was funny and very friendly. Definitely recommend when looking for a place to hang with friends.
Great Plains great management great bartenders great place to go down to the beach in the pier in Long Beach awesome great experience and great people at the front door said hello
Fantastic drink menu and their "half yard" drink size and glasses are memorable. Excellent lunch, dinner, and brunch menu with a wide assortment of vegan and healthy fare options.
Great place for happy hour! We sat outside and sipped on cocktails...great food. The egg rolls were yummy to start things off, petite filet with cheddar mashed potatoes, and dessert was the Kona coffee sundae. Yum!
Maria was our server....super attentive and great personality! Food was delicious and Maria made sure our drinks were never empty! Great view of the marina!
The location is beautiful. We were visiting for our anniversary, on a Monday, so it wasnt too crowded. We were seated promptly, and the front desk staff was very nice. Our server (Alexandria) was training a new server (male), I unfortunately don't recall his name but they both did an excellent job making our experience a very special one! I will be back and asking for Alex again!
Been to this place fairly often. Always brings a smile walking out. Service is prompt, waiting times are not that long, the food is really good! Do try the tomato bisque- the best that I have tried. The hostesses have always had the time to chat up no matter the rush. Opt for outside seating for a fantastic view overlooking the shoreline. Afternoons can be quite sunny and bright during summers. Most of the tables get direct sunlight. Not so great during the hot season.
Surprisingly good kids menu and vegetarian options. Big sports bars aren't my thing, but this place is run well and does a good job serving big groups visiting the waterfront.
The wait was about 35min to get in, but people are just getting out again so it's to be expected. They are practicing social distancing procedures. The food and drinks are good. My only complaint is it took a long time to receive our food.
The food is very good, the desserts are EXCELLENT, but they take a LONG time !!! We waited half an hour for a table, then another half hour waiting for the food, then 20 minutes for dessert and it took even the bill to bring us. We were LITERALLY 3 hours there for lunch.
We had lunch out on the patio . Great buffalo cauliflower and humus but my main dish wasn't to good and i was truly surprised because I've eaten here so many times before and it was great. Garlic lobster noodles taste as if the lobster was leftover no different than if you'd heat it in your microwave at home so i was very disappointed.
Great spot right on the water to grab a cocktail and a bite to eat! Can get very, very crowded at times so I always advise you get her earlier in the day. The longer you wait the crazier the atmosphere will be. But if you come by at noon on a Saturday you're golden--chill ambience right on the water in Long Beach, with a very nice area to walk around and explore after your lunch.
Overpriced for crappy food. Restroom stinked. Flies attacked our lunch in the patio. For what we paid I don t recommend this place. Red Lobster is better.
The food here is delicious! The Chicken Nachos are huge and bomb. I shared with my entire party. The Onion Ring Tower is so good. The Egg Rolls are fantastic. And the Chicken Mac & Cheese is to doe for. I luv the ambiance of this restaurant. And the staff is amazing. I'll definitely be back. And I will be recommending it as well.
We had a wonderful in this spot. We enjoyed the first-rate vibes and the food. The staff members were very personal. I am content we ultimately managed to eat here.
Incredible view of the harbor from the patio seating and great food and drinks, what more could you ask for? The patio is also a nice place for people-watching while you wait for your meal. This place gets packed when crowds let out of some of the entertainment venues nearby, so be prepared for a wait. They don't take reservations, but they do have a call ahead wait list. You can find the number on their website.
I had a bad dining experience due to an interaction with one of the employees. It is really frustrating that I have to go out of my way and waste my time and energy to bring this to attention. I was with my girlfriend and her family and I was excited to hear they had a few plant based options on the menu. Upon inquiring about the items I found out that most of them had dairy so I decided to go with the vegan burger. The waitress Shelby (who was very nice by the way) informed me that the fries it comes with are cooked in the same fryer oil that is used to cook chicken wings and shrimp. I thought it was odd given that it was a standard side that came with a vegan burger, but I didn't let it bother me and started to look for another option. Soon after a younger middle aged male came out to our table to confront the situation who I believe was a manager. He was of a larger stalky build with a bald head. The first thing he said to us in a firm unaccommodating voice is "Alright who's the vegan guy". I thought it was a bit insincere and he reiterated what Shelby said about the fries. He said thats just how it is and I have to deal with it or pick something else. I felt uncomfortable and under pressure on what to pick so I started asking about the sides menu. With little patience he kept shutting down every option emphasizing all the things that contained animal byproduct like "BUTTER, EGGS and CHEESE. " I asked him if I could get a side of pita and hummus and he said that I cannot because hummus would be considered an appetizer and my only option is some sort of salad. I said I don't mind paying extra, but I wanted pita and hummus. He then became agitated and said " LOOK I will buy it for you alright but I will be paying for it because its not a standard side so I'll have to pay for it, but I'm going to do it for you." Nice of him to go out of his way for a customer. Incredibly rude and unprofessional!!
Famous for yard long draft beers, but I go for the food. My company sometime holds holiday parties the Yard House with a buffet line so I've sampled a good fraction of their extensive and eclectic menu. Lamb burger with creamy feta; Cobb salad with edamame and shrimp (perfectly grilled till just barely cooked); spicy boneless wings, pasta, calamari..... Every time I visit I think to myself this was great food, I need to come back again soon.
This place was very busy. I was able to get a spot at one of the two bars they have inside. Service was friendly. I had their jumbalaya which was really delicious with the blackened shrimp. Just the right amount of spice too. They have a mix of food staples so it is perfect for groups with different tastes. Didn't know it was a chain until after I had left and someone told me they were. Could have fooled me as the food was that good.
When we first got there me and my husband thought the place was beautiful. Then our hostess was extremely rude didn't say the wait time nor did she greet us or welcome us when first arriving like any restaurant does. We brushed if off no biggie because it was packed, but then my husband went to the bar to order a drink and was ignored by one bartend when asking for a drink and then MOCKED and made fun of by another when asking if he could sit there while waiting for a table, which they then procedded to bring someone else to attend him of HIS COLOR. I was so appalled!!!!!! this was the first time in my life we had ever been racially discriminized for being Mexican. He was a Caucasian male with blonde hair and a blonde beard working yesterday's shift at the bar at 6:00 pm. I wish I would've known his name so everyone can know he is a racist. Which I know I was not taking out of proportion because they then proceeded to bring over the manager over to check his ID again. My husband felt so uncomfortable where I even asked him if he wanted to leave but it was our first time and didn't want to let the poor staff ruin it. We went as a family last night with my 1 year old son and were treated EXTREMELY well by our waiter dean. He is the only reason I am leaving 4 stars to be honest. He made sure to check up on us and played with my son even pinching his cheeks he is obviously training people for a good reason because he was the ONLY one who gave us impeccable customer service. Thank you dean for turning our whole experience around. If I ever return to yard house is will be only because of him !!
