The Wytefort, Kochi Review

Wyte fort is a moderate budget hotel on the outskirts of kochhi. A decent property in the area. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is good enough. Lunch and dinner have north indian dishes too. But sometimes slow service spoils the game. Being on the main road gives it added advantage. Staff hardly understand Hindi and English.

Really exquisite experience I've had here., There's nothing to complain about. Pay a visit and you lot will love it..

The Wyte Fort was a part of our lives since a very long time. We used to regularly stay there during our visits to Kochi. The Hotel has been there for a while and it is evident in its construction and appearance. The Lobby, Corridor Walls and even the uniforms of the staff relates a lot to Indian History. The customer service, room services and food served at the restaurant is excellent. The ambiance of the suite rooms are also good. We used to always come across one or two celebrities at Wyte Fort every time.

Horrible experience . The person at the reception was completely hung over , doubtful substance abuse. No one else in the vicinity to complain. Had to go searching for another hotel in the middle of the night

One of the best hotels in ernakulam with reasonable price.. Food is also good... The complementary buffet breakfast is really tasty with variety of dishes.. friendly staff.. parking space is also there

I like the experience at the hotel nice hospitality

The Hotel is very nice. However I cannot but to comment as under:
(1) The Reception people are not a bit courteous and cooperative. e.g. I requested them to give me a print out of my mail which I received it on my mobile cell phone. They fisrt informed me to send the mail to them and after reading they will give print out. Obviously no one can have Printer when he is travelling . I also shown them my preparedness to pay the cost thetefor. But the concerned person told that they have not received it. At the same time I recd. a mail from your Hotel that if I want to stay further, Hotel is ready to give me discount My question is when my mail is not recd. by the hotel,then how the promoting mail was sent to me? They had no reply.
(2) Such small small things may matter a lot and put both your Image and your Business in jeapordise.
Hotel Management is suggested to advise the concerned people to improve themselves.

Lots of noise from other guests which the management didn't want to help with. Breakfast was good. Rooms are ok. Wifi was poor. Staff don't speak great English so it's difficult to get what you want. Ordering room service was quite an experience, like something out of falty towers!

The downfall of a cuisine... it's now just average... gone are the days when this was a choice

Very poor ambience and cleanliness. They should do it better to keep up.

Went for a buffet lunch.. It was around 2 pm and almost items saw finished and I felt that they hesitated to fill the finished items and we waited long to get it filled.. Very disappointed by their service

Loved the room and amenities. Booked on Goibibo. For 1440/- it's a steal

Good, overall. Worth the money as a relatively cheap hotel (included Buffet breakfast). Nice staff. However, they have a problem with the WiFi. I wasn't able to use it (except for few hours) (knowing that I was staying in the sixth floor). Also, the bathroom hot water wasn't hot, it is just warm. Rather, the weather was hot and I wasn t in need to the hot water (you should ask about this issue in winter). Suitable for few days visit.

The Wyte Fort is a good place with a good ambience and an outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are descent and have a good parking facility.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Place is so well located and it exudes such a friendly ambiance. The rooms however have a faint aroma of cigarette smoke, that should be addressed. It puts off smokers also .....

I had visited Rameez.... Nice place and okay food...

For a Hotel in Maradu area, Ernakulam, The Wyte Fort Hotel is an imposing structure one can not avoid noticing. The pure White paint spread over its surface simply beautify the Hotel to uplift the image to more than five star category. Restaurant is remarkable though I didn't have any food over there. Parking area is good to accommodate nearly 30 cars. Toilets in the common area is up to date and time
