We just had our wedding at Withrow on 10/10/2020 and it was such an amazing experience! The staff were on top of everything making sure to check in to make sure things were going just as we wanted it to! Thank you Withrow for making our wedding dreams come true!
The wedding took place on 5/19/2019. This event center overall was well suited for many of the guests who had attended. Everything was placed where it needed to be, and it made setting/cleaning up pretty easy. As the wedding went on throughout the day. It was already raining, snowing, windy and cold. We thought nothing could go wrong. As we all gathered around to have dinner around 5:30PM, all of their lights/electricity went out. We had no access to the bathrooms, couldn t wash our hands after eating, our guests couldn t have a drink at the bar, and lastly but not least our guests didn t even have any water to drink during the power outrage. We would think that since no outside food and drinks are allowed, not even water bottles, water would be provided for us but most importantly the guests. We were all very upset on to why a venue this big, had no BACK UP GENERATOR. As time went on, Joshua the general manager was trying his best to accommodate us all. With almost two hours gone by,1/2 of our guests had already left because. Luckliy our centerpieces had candles and those were the only things being used as lights, besides peoples cell phone flashlights. Joshua also sent someone out to purchase water bottles for us all, because mostly everyone had nothing to to wash down their dinner, especially the elders. We understand that Joshua was not the owner of this place and had no control. But since the electricity died on us and they couldn t accommodate us much but by giving us two extra free kegs only, the owner came to a conclusion that this was a natural cause , which is why the bride and the groom could and did not get a chunk of their money back. This place is nicely set up, but please have a back up generator for these natural causes it s extremely upsetting to have a venue this big and I believe he said was built in 1927? If this place is so old, and it doesn't have the option to have a back up generator, thar should be an eye opener that maybe the place needs some updating to do. Will never choose this place or attend again.
The staff is beyond amazing!! There are no ridiculous charges and everything is straight forward pricing. The renovations are also amazing!
The smell of mold bothers some people. But a great dance venue.
We had a great time at withrow only because we made it that way. The withrow staff is absolutely horrible with communication! When we went to visit the place we had been told certain prices as well as certain things we could potentially do, which led to us choosing withrow as our venue. When we agreed and decided to sign a contract, EVERYTHING changed! Prices were doubled, certain things were suddenly not allowed and so on. We had no choice going forward because of the contract and down payment. We were told before signing contract we would be able to decorate at 8am.. after contract was 10am.. okay not a big deal.. and by 10am the chairs and linens and etc. were supposed to be set up. It was not! It was a mess and we actually had to wait outside after 10am before we could set up.. the staff rarely spoke to us and when we would try to contact them they were very inconsistent as well vague and short with responses. I m telling you, horrible service and they will charge you extra no matter what. Beautiful venue but unfortunately the staff is an experience you won t want to have for your big day!!!
we went to car and tractor show event that is well worth your time, the bar is excellent food in different places , trackor hay rides, truck also , what can I say to the people who put this event on GREAT JOB
The one star is strictly towards the staff. The management/staff was inconsistent with communication. We were told one thing before signing the contract and then told a completely different thing after signing the contract. We were misled and treated poorly during the entire process. Certain things not communicated on the contract were changed and non negotiable. The bar staff didn't properly charge guests as requested by the wedding party and that resulted in me having to pay more for the bar tab. The place is nice but the entire staff is on a different page and unwilling to work with you. I was very disappointed with my experience with Withrow.

Having our wedding at Withrow was the best decision we've ever made. Laura and Joshua helped us throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to help answer questions, help get things set up, and to make sure our wedding was spectacular. We made great use out of the outdoor space for our cocktail hour. Everything was beautiful!
The ambition in the eyes of the new owners...... refreshing. Jonny Homes sks daughter are always a treat!

The dance was fun but I will agree with the reviewer who mentioned the moldy smell. I noticed it the moment I walked in.
We booked this venue and every moment during the planning process went smooth with Laura. As the day approached and things got real, Josh joined the planning team, and he couldn't have been a better asset to the team. He was there from beginning of the day until the very end, and he was so accommodating and helpful. Thank you for pulling off the wedding of my dreams as I married the man of my dreams. 6-1-19
