Bad food service and customer service. Employees are nasty and mean little people. Terrible place to get food and the staff need a behavior change. The employees harassing the students and are not good at their job. The lake view is fine. Everything else needs to change right now.

A classic. The terrace, the lake, music, good food and drink, the vibe. What's not to like?

It's Memorial Union - you'll see all types of people doing lots of different things here - there are events, food, and plenty of study space.

You get all this along with a view of Lake Mendota. The experience was so awesome that I had to come back a second time! Watched the sunset twice while running around taking pictures with my big camera. This is a great place to people watch or even make new friends.

Great place for hanging out or having a conference. Lots of places to eat in the Union itself and beautiful terrace overlooking the lake with plenty of seating, food, and drink. Also, in the summer there are outdoor concerts every night on the terrace with local bands performing.

Perfect place to relax during the summer. It s always so clean here. The renovations look wonderful..such a chill place to hang out at.

I love Memorial Union. It s my favorite building on UW Madison s campus. Just like they say in the brochures, it s the living room of campus . The food is always amazing here - the Rath, Carte, Strada ... not to mention Babcock ice cream! Amazing study spaces and great hours for when you need to have somewhere to go that s not a library for some late night studying!

Just love going here to eat and sit out by Lake Mendoza they have a couple nice restaurants inside and my favorite in the Summer is the Daily Scoop Ice Cream store where they have yummy flavors and relaxed atmosphere.

Beautiful place! Been here a couple times for their open mic!

Great set up with safety precautions well developed. Everyone was exceedingly friendly. Food arrived quickly, fries were delish!

Nice place with some great shops. But prices are high for college students, unless all students are rich these days. They wanted $2.09 for a bottle of Coca Cola.

The UW Madison campus is so breathtakingly beautiful. Just based on how at home I felt, I wouldn t mind attending college here. This city reminds me much of Duluth.

One of Wisconsin's best public spaces is open again! And you can get waited on now, which was never the case before. Reservations are a must however.

I call the HR office to report a harassment and bullying from one of their employees against a family member and they never answering the phone or get back to me.

Very informative. A lot of events are happening and the information desk is available during certain hours to assist. The 91st annual student art show was occurring so feel free to glance at the impressive, beautiful art work displayed. Also, there are many good eats here.

The sunburst chairs are iconic and the views are wonderful. Memorial Union should be on your short list of places to visit in Wisconsin.

We moved our daughter to Madison for this school year and went to the Union to have brats & beers for the adults and brats & sodas for the kids. We found what looked like a demilitarized zone. The chain link fencing is ugly and the terrace didn't open until 2, and that's only if you had a reservation? One Star for lack of accessibility, bad hours, and the ugliness.

A nice place to warm up in the winter. Great architecture, views of the lake, and food and drink options within.

Beer, bathrooms, brats...and a fine space for study, socializing and special events. Tudor dinner was a great Christmas experience.

I had my wedding in the great hall of the Memorial Union and I couldn't have possibly found a better venue. Absolutely stunning room with incredible staff and such affordable pricing!
Hattie was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely incredible. I'm a pretty decisive person, but whenever I couldn't make a choice she was so helpful with suggestions and made sure I was always happy with what I'd picked.
The food was absolutely incredible. I was so impressed with the quality of service and food on my day! Every single dish was amazing, and they were so accommodating when it came to my guests with severe allergies and special dietary needs. I don't know if I could have found a venue more willing to work with me and my guests so pleasantly!
I am so pleased with the service I received from the Union. The catering staff certainly has their stuff together and pulls off large events flawlessly. My wedding day was absolutely perfect, and I owe a very large part of that to the amazing staff at the Memorial Union. Thank you!!

They did a great job providing a safe place to spend 90 minutes. The food was really food, but our safety was tops on their list.
