The show was very good but the seats are terrible! I wont go back there again. You cant even sit straight as your knees are jammed into the seat in front of you! I couldnt wait to get out of there even though the 2 comedians were very good!

The Wilbur is a fantastic theatre with a lovely small bar and great viewing from any seat. Its just small enough for the crowd to be intimate with the performance, and the comedic types of shows they have are wonderful

Outside building needs a little more help in it s appearance , but what counts is the inside and the performance.
3 only because of outside looks.
Location next to Tufts parking garage and 600 feet from two ** stops.
Orange line T-stop at Tufts Medical and Boylston T-stop.
Moxy building next to Theatre.

Awesome selection of performers at relatively reasonable prices. Seats are a tad uncomfortable for long shows, but I've yet to find one without a great view. Happy to purchase back row upper story tickets, as it's a small theater.

We sat on the balcony. The view was great, could see the whole stage fine. The seats were small and closer together though. I know it's an old theater and I realize they must have the seats set up for maximum capacity... but I'm 6'1" - any taller and it might actually have been painful up attend.

The comedians their are great, but they really pack you in like sardines. Also bring cash if you have to pee, as you have to tip the bathroom attendant who neglected to swat the flys in the restroom.

The Wilbur is a great venue for comedy and music. I've seen a lot of shows here over the years. Quick tip, if you are getting table seats on the floor... pick them by map and make sure you don't get ones that face away from the stage

The Wilbur is a solid theater. Seats are ok sized and comfortable enough. It's old which is cool in it's own way but every direction you go in is a very narrow walking area. I've been here 3x now and haven't had a bad viewing spot yet.

This is a nice theater. The bathrooms are right outside the mezzanine but too small for the crowds. There is a concession stand on the mezzanine floor but it's way too small and has just one employee running it. Just go down one floor and it'll be quicker. I promise

The people organizing the shows and staff for the events are unkind and disrespectful. The customer service is terrible and unprofessional. I would not recommend coming to an event at this theater. Go see your comedian or performance elsewhere.

Seats were very uncomfortable. Seats were near bar area and staff was loud and obnoxious during show. Drinks were $$$. Paid $21 for a capt and coke. $9 for a small plastic cup of beer... would not recommend

Big name comics and lesser knows acts alike. I recommend the table style seating on the stage level as the upper level seats are very cramped. If you are tall, prepare for your knees to be jammed up against the seat in front of you. A very old theater and very nice inside. Their newsletter has pre-sales all the time so check that out.

Beautiful, clean but 52 dollars for 2 drinks a soda and chips after already spending a couple hundred to see the show. Learned a lesson not to buy your drinks, the bartender was more interested in talking and flirting with the guy next to her instead of doing her job, the other bartender served 3 couples before she even gave us our drinks. We saw Randy Rainbow there and saw other we wanted to see at the Wilbur but all it took was poor service from the bartender to not give this a 4 or 5 star. People come for a complete experience. And btw teach your bartenders how to make drinks my long island tasted like lemonade with too much alcohol. I tried to find someone to ask for a new drink or get my money back about 15 minutes into the show and wow did they breakdown fast and leave. I did tell a staff member and all they did was apologize, Nothing was fun at the bar. Suggestion pre make the drinks listed would speed up save money and lower your cost so lower your price and you would make it up in bulk... RANDY RAINBOW WAS FANTASTIC and the seats were good everywhere and most of the staff was smiling and helping others. This is an example of all it takes is one of the staff to not be on the same page as the rest.

I do wish calling the Wilbur would allow me to speak to someone about shows. I went to the Mountain Goats concert last year around this time. I'm epileptic and worried the entire time that the lights could trigger a seizure because I would not have known prior unless I couldve spoken to someone who knew.

The Wilber is the place to see a show, the seating is a bit cramped but the ambiance of the theater makes up for the close quarters. Acustics are great plus they have ample speakers to hear the stage, if you're floor three you may be a bit strained on the distance but there's plenty of adult beverages to make up for it.

This is a fun venue. I went to see Lavar Burton Live! The seat I had was under $40 and in the center of the balcony. It was an excellent seat at a relatively low price. There is a more expensive section below with table service...those seemed to be the prime seats, very close to the stage. However, the balcony was perfect for me!

Watched Buckethead perform here. One can get a good view of the stage from any seat. I just didn't like the lighting. The stage was a blur and I could barely see Buckethead's fingers. But then, he's incredibly fast!

The Wilbur looks nice and is clean. That's about all I can say for it. Their sound tech is incompetent and should be fired! I went to a 30s jazz style concert here and they had mixed it as if it were death metal. I couldn't understand the vocalists... all I could hear was the rumbling of my seat shaking in the painfully over-loud bass. Definitely skip this place for concerts.

Relatively intimate venue with his views of stage. Bar with service to your seat. Like almost everywhere in this town, muddy acoustics.

Search on entry requires removing not just metal but all objects from pockets. Especially in winter, this is a hassle.

Cool theater. If your seats are in one of the sections in the back right or back left and they are not in the first row of those sections, you might have some trouble seeing the stage clearly, especially if you're not tall. If you're all the way at the back, the balcony above you could obscure the upper part of the stage as well.

Saw comedian Hari Kondabolu-- great show. The seats in the mezzanine are great in terms of view of the stage but they are not comfortable. The theatre was extremely warm in the mezzanine. Heat rises, people! You might want to be prepared to shed layers, if you're at the Wilbur in the cold season.

First time here, was very grateful that we got to wait inside, away from the cold. The staff was very nice, very helpful. If you are sitting in the balcony, be prepare for a long trip up tons of stairs. The bathroom in the balcony area was so small. Claustrophobic? Doesn't work for you. It was so nice and warm, no drafts. The inside could use some new paint and maintenance. Basically a nice place, would have been a 3, but the staff got them the 4th star.

The seats are definitely uncomfortable and very closely placed so not much room to move around to try and get comfortable.. The metal backing is what I found most uncomfortable. I do love the size of the theater and the staff, however the drinks are very expensive. We ordered 2 Grateful Dead and the price was $45.60 which included 20% gratuity.. I know it is Boston but come on.

We go to the Wilbur fairly often, and it seems like they just keep cramming more seats into the already limited space. The programming is generally good, but expect to be uncomfortably close to strangers and to pay around $25 for a drink.

It's tiny. So anywhere in this place is basically a good seat. You could get a decent car for what a drink costs in this place, so I advice you to get sauced elsewhere. Bathrooms are a short 5 minutes away in the downstairs club area. Otherwise ok.
