For the pure music lover, the Wheaty is the pinnacle venue for local artists and the occasional overseas artist. The reason for going to this venue, is to get a pure music experience without the background noise of an ordinary pub.

Pretty chilled atmosphere with an awesome set up! I love that I didn't need to worry about my card all the time and the band was amazing! Docked one star because I did find it quite expensive

The outward appearance of the Wheatsheaf doesn't match the quality of service and atmosphere inside. Check out the selection of beers and liquor available, nice garden areas and so on. Family friendly environment too. Just outside of Adelaide CBD so it's easy to find. Check it out on a Sunday afternoon for a relaxing time with friends.

Quite possibly my favourite bar in Adelaide. Excellent beer list which constantly showcases the finest craft beer I've ever had. Surprisingly good, albeit niche, whiskey/scotch list. There's often a food truck or two parked outside and the management are happy for patrons to bring food in. Standout beer = anything from Doctor's Orders Brewing, and for the adventurous, try the Anchovy beer...

Adelaide's showcase pub for micro brews and craft beers. The 'wheaty' always has a new beer to impress. Seasonal beers are always on tap including a wide range of stouts and dark beers. Try what ever beer is in the glass hopper, it s going to be good. Winter is made for the wheaty.

A magical moment with a magical band that battled to get to Adelaide to perform despite all covid obstacles. Thank you for a wonderful evening guys, signing our record and sharing drinks together.
The amazing selection of craft beers and ciders were simply delicious and refreshing

It's a half decent place to hangout with very average beers. The odd special tap days brings out many good brewers which makes a visit worthy. Does not have a kitchen which makes it a bit off putting.

Omg was there to see The Cherry Pickers and Miss Ohio tonight. Local Bluegrasss band and duo here in Adelaide. Tickets in hand, excited to see our favourite band and was told to leave the area where we were standing waiting to get in, by a very aggressive, in your face woman. We were not allowed to be standing because of covid. Fair enough. We looked for a seat, could not find one. Then said Lady had another woman come up and tell us to find a seat. Then she pointed to some hidden away behind the pool table, out of view from where we were standing. In a condescending manner she saids, there's plenty of seats ladies you just have to ask. Her manner and that of the original woman was totally rude and there was no need for it. Nonetheless we were offended, not by being told to sit, but the manner in which in was delivered. Shall not be going back to this venue again. Ticket money down the drain and bad taste left in our mouths because of their rudeness. A real shame.

It's the best pub in the world! So casual, so cool, so relaxed. Awesome beers, of their own and other fantastic breweries. If beer isn't your thing they have a load of whisky and a good range of wines!

The pub without all the annoying pub stuff.

The pub without all the annoying pub stuff.
No pokies. No dining room (byo or check out the regular food trucks that visit). No crowds.
Just the best selection of drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.
Oh, and great bands too.

Always a superb place. Excellent gig but somewhat perplexed as to why you felt the need to cut his set short??? Surely the 3 minutes it would take to play one last song couldn't cause you that much trouble.....

One of the best beer menus in SA. Live music when most other venues are closing up.

Sunday afternoon is always a winner. Whether you're out the back or by the front bar, it's a great place to catch up with friends.
