Great pub...cool vibe...and the best place to play or listen to music in Adelaide. Our band MobiusX always has so much fun playing there ! Thankyou Wheatsheaf Hotel.

Shame their selection of beers is expensive and limited to craft beer only.

Good selection of beer - no food served here but generally have a good truck outside. Nice place for a group of mates to catch up

Cosy spot with a great beer & wine list. Loved the visiting food truck. Great spot to kick back before heading to the Entertainment Centre.

The amazing Wheaty is a must-see venue for avid pub goers, craft beer enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a relaxing friendly pub. Its combination of seats, lounges, stools is perfect to watch a band or hold a conversation. Very cleverly organized.

Great range of craft brews and whiskey, the decor and furnishings are a bit dated and sad though. Good place for a drink and catchup

It has a good a layout, nice place for a relaxing session with friends. Live music too! Hard to fault it.

Best dam pub in Adelaide. Great boutique beers on tap, great whiskey selection & supporters of live music. Food truck @main door & good cheese platers and snacks @ the bar. Good for the whole family.

If I lived closer I would go here everyday. It does t look it on the outside (it kinda looks abandoned) but it s warm fun and full of wickedly good brews! I drove past five pubs to drink it good.

So many amazing beers. So little food. Go here for a drink, not a bite to eat.

Went to see a gig, was pretty cool but unfortunately the toilets are right behind the stage and the whole time it smelt like urine throughout the whole area.

Wonderful older style decor. Great selection of beers on tap and wine menu appeared decent. Lots of guys with trendy beards so hipsters probably love it, but wasn't too pretentious. Bar staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Not a lot of pubs like this in Adelaide. Recommended.

Best pub in Adelaide for service and relaxing with a craft beer

Busy pub with a great selection of beers. Food trucks provide the main fare but there are also tasty plates of cheeses and other nibbles. The surroundings are slightly worn but the clientele are diverse and honest enough to hand in my wallet when I was silly enough to drop it.

Love the Wheaty! The art, the beer and the staff are brilliant and I feel right at home. Highly recommend!

What a welcoming, fantastic pub with character and flair that has to be the most chilled place I've been for years. This is where the staff and customer's have a smile on their faces and you enjoy your drink. Try the Danger Zone, I loved it.

Pretty lucky to have one of Australia's best pubs as my local. Great range of beer, whisky and awesome atmosphere. Only down point - not open 24 hours a day.

Fantastic selection of craft beers on tap and lots of craft whiskey which rotate periodically. The prices for craft beer are a little higher as you would expect. The bar staff are friendly and pleasant. There are both indoor and outdoor areas to relax in. There is no menu so don't come expecting a meal. There was a food truck out the front when I visited though. Attracts a trendy, progressive crowd. I want to visit again to try the rest of the craft beers.

Kind of a rustic old pub with plenty of character, with an intimate music venue and a casual and comfortable place to share a drink or two. There's a food van outside to satisfy hunger and an impressive line up of musicians performing every Monday night. I wish i lived in adelaide to go there more often.

Wonderful chilled venue, great beers brewed on site. Always great music acts.

No teds on tap. Terrible odds on the greyhounds, beer garden didn't even have a solo instrumentalist doing Jack Johnson covers. Asked for a premix and got a bloody black n tan. Five stars out of a hundred.

This is a place where the 'creatives' go to smoke e-ciggs and be seen with a crafty James Squire in their hands. All good if you are into that kinda thing

The Wheatsheaf does a great range of their own beers as well as other popular craft beers. It's a comfortable relaxed environment.

Always a new selection of local and in-house craft beer available. A rotation of food trucks share the opportunity to provide dinner. Relaxed and friendly.

Really cool vibe at this old pub and great venue outside to hear the band. We didn t eat there but definitely plan to return for another gig and a meal. Parking at back of hotel. Staff were friendly.

Great relaxed pub. Friendly staff. No kitchen so they let you bring food in. There is usually a food truck out the front or wood fire pizza from Foodland 200 metres up the road is a good option.

We had flown into Adelaide late on a Friday and needed dinner and a beer. The staff saw our weary souls and hosted us with the best customer service imaginable with this is the beer you d want after a flight after a long week at work and then this is the beer you would want after you have had the beer after a long flight ... etc etc . When it came to food there was a Sri Lankan food truck outside that looked delicious however not what we were looking for. The bar then gave us some menus for local restaurants and gave us the details to tell them and viola our pizza was delivered to our seats at the bar. A great night great beer great staff and an all round great experience. If you re close to the airport it s worth checking out.

High class ethical (no pokies) great booze staff art and people plus far more than I can list here
