The hotel is good with big rooms and lake side view. The hotel staff was very nice and polite. I loved my stay there.

Nice place and clean rooms. Had a wonderful view of the shore line. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the quietest hotels I have been in.
Used the Westin as conference venue and it was excellent. Located in a fantastic area in the high end part of downtown Chicago. Hotel rooms are nice, good bathrooms some with great views looking over the lake.
Food was good in The Grill bar and during the conference and staff were very attentive throughout. The hotel has a Starbucks that closes mid afternoon but another Starbucks is just outside. Great shopping 2 mins walk away with Bloomingdales, Macys and designer shops. Navy Pier / The Silver Bean are both around a 20 minute walk away. 20-60 minutes from O'Hare airport / outlet mall depending on traffic, taxi costs $40-60.
John Hancock building is directly opposite and is well worth a visit for a cocktail on 96th floor.
I love this hotel and have stayed here it is very clean. We booked for a conference that was to occur August 2-5 and have been planning the trip. I called to change the name on one of the reservations and was informed that both reservations has been cancelled by the hotel. After speaking to five people, the rep informed me that the hotel was now closed until September (don't know why it took five people to tell me that). I do not mind them being closed as precautionary measure but what I am having issue with is that this cancellation was never communicated (searched my email extensively), my account still shows an active reservation, and the fact that I accidentally found out because I called them. I can only imagine how bad it would have been if I had actually travelled there before I found out.
Club level with lake view is worth the extra $40 if this is what you desire. Clean rooms, free water if you are a member and excellent beds and linens. Elevators are old but are in the process of update (June 2019), the club lounge is small and not much to write about. I will bet in few years it will be what it wants to be, awesome. Saturday and Sunday no bacon or other meats, vegetarians get bananas and yogurt...coffee is awesome.
The hotel is great as expected. The room is clean and spacious. I really like their housekeeping. Whenever we stay in a hotel, we often move things around to make it more comfortable for ourselves. For example, moving the tissue box from bathroom to my nightstand. Many times housekeeping will move things back to their original places, but this doesn t, so it doesn t make me move things again. It feels like they know what you want them to clean and arrange.
The location is amazing. It is right on the Michigan Avenue and you can walk to shops and restaurants any time. The service was also very good. I will stay here again.
Nice hotel close to many shops and restaurants around... comfortable beds and big smart tv.. I didn t like much the bathroom very low pressure from the water.... but over all a nice and quite.. we had a nice stay... will be coming back when I m in Chicago
Very luxurious hotel. We were gifted tickets to stay here for a cancer benefit event. I had the chance to meet Mario Lopez the actor. There was actually a few well-known people in the room. Fun night all around.
Hotel was clean, staff friendly, furniture was broken and closet did not close
My room was very small, nothing impressive. It was a good location, next to the Hancock building. The food from the Grill was also average.
