You used to have the best sausage rolls on the market, now I'd say they are the worst, my dog even turns her nose up to them. In the bin with the last 3 of 8

I joined the Welsh Pantry in September 2019. Working with a great team with hours to suit & I get to sample sausage rolls & pies daily.

I have been with the company 7 years now and have seen the company grow significantly and I know that there is more growth and development to come, which makes it an exciting place to work. Love working with the people and being part of the team who make the best products in the industry.

the new recipe for cheese and onion pastry dont taste good any more ... hope u go back to the old recipe

Had to let people know about the Welsh Pantry Corned Beef pie. Absolutely stunning quality and taste. I was blown away by the taste. The pastry was divine. Points Out of 10 were 11.

i don't normally write reviews but on this occasion i had to as i've just had the best pastry i've ever tried i went to my corner shop thought oooh new pastries so i picked up a cheese and onion pasty i demolished it in under a minute and More

I worked for Welsh Pantry through the Agency for a while but have recently been taken on as permanent member of staff.
I like the people which I work with and the management team seem friendly and genuinely want to engage with their employees.
Every day is different which is another reason why I enjoy working here. Would strongly recommend it to any one looking for a job. *****

I had been putting them in my kids lunch boxes for a while now but since lock down started the whole family has been eating them every day, they are the one 'essential item' that we HAVE to leave the house to purchase!!

Bought a Creamy Chicken pie from Lidl yesterday
Pie yes, beautiful cooked great and looked perfect. Creamy oh yes definitely.
Chicken. .... Hallooo .... Chicken both in sustained and taste were absent.
I had to imagine what I what was eating by looking at the pictures on the box.

Been working within The Welsh Pantry for nearly 5 years, a dedicated team of individuals all striving to manufacture high end products for the end consumer. A top place to work !!

Purchased a pack of 5 sausage rolls, very disappointing, pastry is okay but the filling is totally tasteless, probably the worst I've had in many years!

Great place to work. Xmas lunch cooked by the Senior Management team was amazing and good fun.
Lots of chance for progression.

I have worked for The Welsh Pantry for just over a year now and I can honestly say it is a wonderful place to work . People thrive on helping each other and watching the business grow. It also helps that the make to most delicious food.

Served up some of your sausages rolls (heated) with chips and beans for the kids tonight, hubby was so jealous that we had the same. I m not normally a pastry fan but yours are lovely.
Goggled you tonight to find out for less than 30 miles away so looking forward to trying more of your local products.

Barely any filling, found fairly large bone in chicken and mushroom pie, not British meat. Avoid.

I bought some of their product to try for the first time. Sausage rolls are lush -even better than greggs. Tasty product good prices

I have worked for The Welsh Pantry for 10 months now and they are a really friendly team to work with. The food is delicious as well some great perks with the taste panels daily as well.

Bought the small cornbeef pasties in pack of 9 they looked delicious but I am afraid That's all I can say is looked!

The filling or lack of filling was unbelievable. I have never seen such a small amount of filling in a pastie before you could barely see any it looked like it had been spread with a butter knife and as for the lack of flavour mainly due I would have thought to the small amount of filling what a total waste of money. So disappointing will not renew the experience.

I purchased a pack of Lidl's Chef Select Minced Steak and Onion slices today, having been a connoisseur of pasties and pies for longer than I care to remember I thought I would give them a try, surprising I am quite pleased, the pasty is full of flavour and the sauce is rich and meaty, I will definitely be buying Welsh Pantry products in the future.

Having purchased your 3 pack of Corn-beef pasties I have to say that apart from the color that was probably supposed to be the corn beef filling they were virtually devoid of any filling, if this is what can be expected from your company, then apart from pastry lovers I for one will not be purchasing them again. The idea of a pasty is not just to have pastry, but also to have a filling, your attempt at this latter part needs attention. A very poor product, and not the best advert for your company.

In all my years (and there's been many) I've never had such a tasty pie. so gutted that I have only just discovered this wonderful brand. I will be buying many more Welsh Pantry pies in the days to come!

My kids love the sausage rolls, if they could eat them for every meal they would!!!
Every one of The Welsh Pantry products we have tried have tasted great and been amazing value for money!!

I recently bought a twin pack of their Beef and Onion Slices from Iceland. They were dire.
The pastry was fine but the filling was dreadful.
They have so little meat in them that they are suitable for vegans !

I don't know what it was but it certainly wasn't like any minced beef that I've tasted before.

The texture was grainy, almost gritty, a most unpleasant experience.
I certainly won't be sampling any more of their products if these are an example of the quality of their range and I'll advise others to do the same.
By the way, prior to writing this review is emailed Welsh Pantry to complain .
They didn't even have the courtesy to reply.
Shows what utter contempt that they have for their customers.
They do not deserve your custom.

Tasty pastries but the sausage rolls just fall apart. Almost like the pastry been stuck on cooked afterwards...

I picked up a large WP sausage roll from my local garage this week and was so impressed I felt i had to say something! I don't usually buy garage food but was starving and this was unexpectedly tasty, nicely seasoned and perfect for lunch on the run!

I recently bought a packet of Welsh Pantry cooked and sliced chicken breast ready to eat. The name of your company suggested to me that this was a Welsh product, I was horrified to find out that once I'd taken the chicken home and gave it to my husband to make sandwiches, he commented that this could go straight into the bin as he read the small print which stated the chicken was not Welsh but not even British or European! But had came from Thailand or Brazil which had been frozen then defrosted chilled and packed, how ridiculous is this with the number of poultry farms we have in this country. Will never buy any Welsh Pantry products again! This company would be better off being re named as Worldwide Foods LTD it is no wonder the British farming industry is in such a mess! The law on food packaging clearly needs changing so it is in bold letters as to the country of origin of the actual product.

The Pantry is an amazing place to work!! The days can sometimes be hard as it s very fast packed in packing but the team I work with are fantastic, and are like my second family.
The guys upstairs are always trying to make things better for us in the factory.
Would recommend working here to anyone and everyone.

If you like your pasties with just a hint of filling, then Welsh Pantries pack of 9 Corned Beef Pasties are just for you. The filling is shown rolled into a ball and on a teaspoon, a small teaspoon at that. Judge for yourself.
Should be featured in Rip Off Britain.

Cheap, nasty and empty pastry casings. Buy Peters or Ginsters.

Bought some mini pasties from Tesco corn beef I I m not joking the filling was non existent how your getting away with selling product like that is beyond me

I got a monster bite from my work for free and now I buy them for my and my husband lunch. They are so big I do not need anything else to eat at work.
I have tried different ones and all tasty so far.

Your sausage rolls are brill, Only problem is my GF would rather have one of them in her month over me

We have eaten their products for a couple of years now. Love the pies and Bread. But sadly now unable to find stockists.

I have worked for The Welsh Pantry for 7 years during which time I have had many positive experiences.

There is a strong feeling of team work through out the business and as the company is privately owned decisions are made quickly and with everyone's best interests in mind.

The company has grown significantly since I joined and I know that there is more growth and development to come which makes it an exciting place to work.

I have to compliment you on your crustless Quiche it is the best I have ever tasted so full of flavour. I have always enjoyed a good sausage roll from you, but wow you have gone to the level now. I cant wait until the Christmas lines come out.

Just had a chicken and ham pie. One of the best shop bought pies I've ever had

I wish I could give a lower mark no taste next to no filling. Their wording on the steak and kidney is a total lie. This is one for trading standards to shut down and fine

Bought a pack of mini corned beef pasties in Tesco they were rubbish. They had practically no filling. I opened up one and there was no filling at all! I only bought two cheese and onion pasties in Poundland because they were 25p. They were a little better but still low on the filling. It's a shame as I like to support Welsh produce but I'll only buy this stuff if it's reduced to 50p or less.

I have worked here years and I love it!!

Went to my local shop yesterday morning to pick up my usual Lunch of one of your pastry slices the shop was completely out of stock of your product, due to the panic buying!
I settled and bought one of your competitors, all can say is there is a reason they were still in stock and yours weren't and I definitely wont be making that mistake again.
The shop owner assured me that he would have some today and when I went in the shelves were full again and normality has been restored to my lunch break today!

I've been eating Welsh Pantry products since I moved to the UK 4 years ago and married a Welsh Man mad about Sausage Rolls!!! The filling in the Jumbo Sausage Rolls which the Welsh Pantry makes is the best I have tasted. If I could rate them higher than 5 starts I would!!
