The Venetian is the kind of place people either love or can t stand. It s got all the trappings of a Las Vegas mega-resort -- interactive elements, plenty of retail therapy, two towering guest room buildings, and a glam pool deck. There s a "canal" where tourists can take a gondola ride, and a replica of the famous Rialto Bridge. (Unlike the one in Venice, the Venetian's has a moving escalator floor, and leads to the Madame Tussaud s Wax Museum.)

The Italian city of Venice, of course, is the inspiration for the frescoed and gilded ceilings, gold paint, and serenading accordionists in the lobby next to the check-in desk. Those willing to suspend their belief, if just for a moment -- say, while strolling through a replica of Saint Mark s Square -- might feel they've stepped into Venice itself. Chic outdoor pools, renowned performances at the theater, and a large casino, however, are completely Vegas.

Opened in May 1999, the Venetian boasts more than 5,000 guest rooms, making it one of the biggest resorts in the country. (That doesn't even count its next-door sister, the 3,068-room Palazzo hotel.) The property is divided into two towers -- the Venetian, with 4,027 rooms; and the quieter 1,013-room Venezia, built in 2003 as an exclusive retreat for high-rolling gamblers.

Inside, the ornate Baroque lobby is perpetually filled with the hotel's trademark floral perfume scent. Some visitors love it, others can t stop sneezing. That may be why -- like an old Italian chef who hides his recipes -- the Venetian won t reveal what they re spritzing.

Awesome resort for a getaway, fun and frolic. You can enjoy the charm of a gondola ride. Fine dining options from across the globe. Shopping to ones delight. It's all under one big resort roof. Of course the charm of casinos is still there.

Rooms not very clean. Lots of sticky stuff on surface tops...like food. Big huge hand prints on shower doors. The electricity went out in bathroom area. Maintained had us running from outlet to next attempting to get it back on so they did not have to inconvenience themselves. Blackjack tournament was well organized. Checking process was nice.

Stayed here last October 2019 in a suite on the 27th floor. The first night, bathroom smelled like urine specifically the garbage can. Can only imagine what happened before we got there... The recycled air wreaked of fried chicken in the middle of the night?? It was OK for the price. My house is much nicer then the suite, so I know it s a treat for a lot of other people... My whole family left Vegas after that week with norovirus. On the plus, Starbucks was just off the elevator exits.

Venetian hotel is located on the Las Vegas strip the hotel is decorated in Greece style the rooms are massive and they have a separate living Room area with have a pull out bed. The view will allow you to see the pool area or the Las Vegas airport. The stuff is attentive professional and unwilling to help. to access the rooms you have to go through security and they check your key to scan your key card and ensuring that is safe. There are numerous restaurants downstairs on the main level and in addition to this they do have gondola boats rides. I would highly recommend this place and I will vacation at this hotel every time a do go to Vegas.

Love this hotel. Yes the corridors, like all hotels looks a little like The Shining, but the suites are lovely. Housekeeping is attentive and the hotel has great amenities. The canals and grand arcade are beautiful and there is a good selection of rsaruarants in the casino. Have stayed here 5 times and can't really fault it. It's well.located on the strip too.

We did the suite for 3 days for a small bachelor party and reserved two suites. The suites came with two large beds, wasn't sure if it was a king or queen... Also a pull out couch in the other half of the room. For the amount of space and people, it was plenty. The people were nice, and security access kept it safe. The gym was huge, it was the biggest hotel gym I've ever seen.. though it wasn't the cleanest or well organized, there were a lot of options. Just don't go in thinking you'll be training for your marathon in there. Art is beautiful... But besides that... There wasn't much more we did. Just sleep and go out. Would definitely recommend and go back again

I must visit spot when you re in Las Vegas no matter what time of the day it s always early evening here at the Venetian.

Come before 10pm , because the restaurants close here around 11pm .

Must visit at any time :)

Loved the Suite and the view.

Loved the Suite and the view.

My only issues are the lighting in the bathroom and in some of the dining venues is also kind of dim.
Lastly, as a nonsmoker, I wish there was better ventilation in the Casino.

With that being said, I love the hotel itself.

The outdoor gondola ride isn t the greatest; skip that. Their indoors space is breathtaking. Great shopping experience! I loved the painted sky and the indoor gondola. The latter isn t cheap (like everything on the Strip). If you want to truly enjoy the gondola ride, pay for a private tour. If you don t, you might end up going for a ride with strangers.

If your able to forgive the owner for his politics for a weekend, then I highly recommend this luxurious multi-property, mega- casino resort. If you don't know, The Pallazo, Sand's Expo and The Venetian are all interconnected. Please don't waste you time and money gambling. I promise you'll have a much more meaningful experience enjoying the other amenities. Five Fabulous.

By far the most luxurious hotel in the Las Vegas Strip.
(During Covid-19 visit) All services of the hotel were available & full operational. Superior cleanliness in all areas of this massive property & every entry way has infrared detection measuring everyones body temperature. The hotel has a full mall, art galleries, food courts with all five star dinning. Full valet service is open 24/7. There is a daily resort fee but i assure you its well worth it. The rooms are excellent & very comfortable with great views.

The Venetian hotel and casino is very clean and safe to stay at in Las Vegas. There are a variety of restaurants to eat and the gaming is very good. I had a good time and will definitely return again.

I stayed here with my family in a Bella suite. The rooms are very pretty n clean. Venetian is one of the prettiest hotels, the lobbies are designed to perfection with a touch of gondola rides to give the Venice feel. The exquisite and luxurious fountains and pool areas look and feel very grand. The customer desk and staff are very helpful and polite. Also it is so conveniently located on the strip that you can enjoy your trip better. The casinos are also great- you can spend hours at the casinos with nice drinks. Slot machines and poker tables are usually available!! Great stay-would love to come again !!

Best casino hotel I ever stay in. Decor was excellent. Hotel room were clean, well maintenance, furniture was vary nice, room larger than my first appointment. They have a shopping center inside the hotel. Security was top notch. You need a map to find your way around.

Amazing hotel with Venice themed exterior and Renaissance themed paintings depicting Rome and Vatican. The Italian and French restaurants are really good, the Mexican one could have been slightly better since the taste was a bit bland on most of the dishes. The gondola ride and shopping area above casino level are very nice with boutique shops and excellent food options. The gondoliers seem authentically trained at least by the way if their singing songs. The casino floor itself is awesome with wide variety of games and crowd. The staff seemed extremely courteous and helping throughout the stay. Overall, very pleasant stay and would highly recommend the place.

The Venetian is a gorgeous resort. The details throughout the casino, canal shops, pool and guest rooms are incredible. The staff is extremely friendly and everything was so clean with all the new Covid19 safety measures in place. We have stayed at the Venetian before and will definitely be staying again soon!

Beautiful, beautiful, beatiful. The gondola ride is something you should try to do here. Checking in at the front desk during peak hours is a nightmare. Requesting an early check in if possible will save you time and patience. Staff is super friendly.

This rating is for Mott 32 restaurant inside the Venetian hotel. This is a very high-end Chinese restaurant. The was the best Chinese I have ever had. Hands down. Dim sum options were delicious. Wait staff was exceptional. I really cannot say enough about this restaurant.

Very beautiful hotel, didn t stay there, but did see the inside and the Venice Room/Studio place where there were different stores and every building was made to look like you re in Venice.

Very beautiful hotel. The inside really looks like its outside...in a market area. The Venetian offers an indoor gondola ride w/serenading by the gondolier...winding through the hotel and under pedestrian bridges, as well as outdoor rides, too. Its $30 for only 13minutes....bummer! There were live shows, shopping, beautiful artwork and food samples being given. It's a very picturesque hotel! Loved it!

We rented the Bella suite and trust me it's wonderful and it's one of only two hotels that have free parking in Las Vegas. Some things you should know they claim the Bella suite has a patio and a view. Your view is of the top of an ugly building and none of them have patios. I might have stayed with the smaller suite that was a about $100 a night cheaper had I known there was no patio. And the only area that's larger is the entrance were there really isn't anything except for just space. and don't expect much from their robes if you're expecting luxury robes with your bath :-)

You can't go wrong here. Every nice brand you'd want is here, the layout is really neat and never gets old no matter how many times you come here. It's a great hotel and has plenty of attractions.

Loved, loved, loved our king suite. The casino floor and gambling areas were immaculate. Their sanitation process made me feel very safe. I love this place. Will definetly have another stay here . Great for couples or like us a family trip.

Excellent location.
Wish they had a leaflet explaining the location of the mini bar and glow to reserve breakfast.

Next time we go to Vegas we're staying here. Everytime we're in Vegas we go here to eat at Buddy's Cafe. After that of course we have to visit his bakery. The shopping in the Venetian is wonderful!

Perfection in every way! Rooms, staff, amenities, location, food, shopping, experiences/entertainment, even the fragrance piped indoors AND outdoors. And the ventilation system in the casino area was impressive. That says a lot coming from a non-smoker with smoke allergies. Will be back as soon as I possibly can. Not even considering a different hotel. Over the top luxury and indulgence at it's finest!

The place is incredible. Everything is grand here. Be it shopping, casino or the hotel itself. The rooms are excellent and the price is good in terms of the quality you get.

The interior of the room was too good and maintained well. Best part is you can come down to casino area anytime and there will be some restaurants also open at middle of the night. Given a chance, I will definitely like to stay there. Only downside is that it is too huge and you may get lost searching for the right gates/elevators to reach your room :)

Although the Venetian is on one end of the strip I think it's walking distance to other hotels and attractions so long as it's not 100+ degrees out. The rooms are spacious and are true suites. Each room has a sunken living room with a full l-shaped couch, television and desk. The bathrooms are large and each have a shower, bathtub and another separate room for the toilet. The rooms are always clean and I have never noticed signs of wear or the room starting to look 'old'.

After visiting Las Vegas since the mid-eighties, and having stayed in many hotels, I now only stay at the Venetian or the Palazzo. Our Host, Zack Zehner, goes out of his way every trip to make our stay smooth and comfortable. The staff is happy and very friendly. Everyone I have any interaction with is always helpful and courteous. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. I usually have problems sleeping on a flat bed, but their beds are great. Never a problem sleeping. For special occasions, their floral department does amazing things. Great restaurants, with anything from good quality, but inexpensive meals to high end cuisine. The casinos are airy, bright and welcoming, not claustrophobic dingy spaces. Great assortment of slot machines and table games, again, all with very helpful and friendly staff. Get a players card, and if you do a reasonable amount of playing, the offers are quite good. You also get "grazie points" during the year as you play that can be exchanged during the Grazie Gifts event in November for all types of items. A wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful rooms. Service is wonderful and the food is delicious (pricey). The room was really nice. Sunken living room area and comfortable beds & pillows. TV's in all the best places and the staff was awesome with any and all requests. It was a pleasure staying there. Definitely something that you would want to experience.

Nice property. The canal shoppes and other public areas are impressive and worth at least a quick visit.

Despite technically being an 'all-suite' property, the hotel rooms were average and I didn't feel were a good value for the rate paid. Furthermore, the layout and wayfinding to the hotel is confusing. We found ourselves venturing to other casinos for one reason or another. Similarly, we did not try any of the on-site dining.

The location is central on the strip and the canal shoppes are definitely worth experiencing but I would pass on the hotel, unless you find a great rate.

I booked a trip months ago for a family get together at the Venetian this past weekend.
I would like to thank the hotel and entire staff for the wonderful experience I'm sure I would have had if my travel arrangements hadn't gone to heck at the last minute. I'm positive that for the money I paid, I would have received superior service and my room would have been fantastic.

This hotel is beautiful and the customer service is good; however, be prepared to be sick or have asthma because of the pervasive cigarrette smoke throughout the entire facility. The Venetian needs to invest in up-to-date air filtration systems to keep the smoking in the casino separate from the other areas at the hotel. I will definitely not be returning to this hotel in the future.
