Venetian convention area was ok as I was there for a conference.
The casino floor is less ashtray-like than older casinos, but not smoke-free like the newer ones and the carpet looks dirty and dated.
Pay attention to the detailed breakdown of your bill at the restaurants in the Venetian and on the strip in general. The owners are starting to add hidden surcharges like "convenience fees", etc. These are usually listed in the menu. If you see anything like this just walk away and go somewhere else.
The best poker room in Vegas right now.
A lot of tables, more players, bigger room, nice chairs, and good rumors among poker players.
Can enjoy bottles of beers, cocktails, etc.
Spending time there while at the CES2020, I realized this place has everything.
Luxurious and well organized . Easy to access and great rooms
freaking cool hotel to walk around. All these weird European clothes stores are something interesting to see. Men buy clothes that should be for women. Casino was cool. Definitely something to go see 1st hand
Gorgeous suites, comfortable beds, friendly staff and lots to do nearby! The suite is great for a girl's trip! It is super spacious and sleeps up to six people.
Beautiful room. Layout of place very confusing. Got lost trying to find room. Key wouldn't work for pool either.
Our 3rd time staying and loved every minute of our stay....
Nice resort from the rooms to new restaurants they just added. Been coming here for many years.
Only downside is the pool area doesn t get any sunlight at all and they need to do something with that unfinished tower that s been covered in drapes for years. Also, security could be better around outside of property as all the homeless hang out and smoke weed by the escalators over the canal leading to entrance.
So many issues. The lost an item I checked with bell desk. Spent two hours trying to locate it. After I checked out I called and attempted to get a credit or refund to my bill. Spent an hour getting bounced between different people and was told there was nothing the could do. Terrible service and complete disorganization. Also the hall and rooms smelled like rotten eggs the entire time. Finally paid for an upgraded strip view that had no view of the strip. The worst Vegas experience in 10+ trips. As a matter of fact the worst hotel experience, worse than staying at a holiday inn.
We visited for 4th of July, I have to say I was impressed on how the sanitation procedures were enforce, made me feel safe and comfortable. The stay was amazing. We were in one of the suites and have to say they are spacious. The best part of this stay, we won!
Really nice establishment.
Nice shops.
Nice restaurants.
Gondola ride thru the hotel is romantic.
The Venetian is by far my favorite Casino/Hotel in all Las Vegas. Slots are plentiful, but tight. The Palazzo is unique and very close to original Venice. Reproductions of art work are fantastic, and the entire place is just beautiful. I reccomend at least a visit.
Amazingly beautiful. A must visit. It even has free parking.
Hands down superior than expected, given the current health crisis and tourist combo.
Actually took the wife here for our wedding Anniversary - "Staycation" and she gave me a 2 thumbs up and the Resort a 5 stars rating.
Like any other vegas buffet. If you want to try one, it might as well be this one. They sell dinning cards in front of Bally's. Get one. It will save you money if you are a tourist staying for two days or more. Also it helps you plan where to eat instead of wandering about the strip entering whatever place is before you. The people who sell the cards also give you excellent tips.
Saw the Australian Bee Gees show in the smaller showroom. A real crowd pleaser. Great food court for a snack after the show.
Such a great hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops. Spacious, well appointed rooms.
The venetian was a nice place to walk through. I really liked the feeling of being like I left the US and traveled to a place like Italy. The architect to the canal in the middle of the mall. Gelato was amazing.
Very dated hotel suites. Old carpet and furnishings. Upgraded to larger suite over 1400 sq ft. but just a large space. Service staff not very accommodating as I asked for champagne glasses in room which never arrived. Reception check in just seemed to go thru checkin process like they have done it 1000 times that day. Much better choices in Las Vegas.
Absolutely fun place to be. Restaurants, shops, very friendly and helpful staff. The facility is amazing and well maintained. Excellent on all counts.
One of the must see casinos at the Strip. Full of nice shops, food and entertainment.
Great experience for my first time going. Thank you for the comps. Wanted to stay longer but got sick. Highly recommend.
Such a beautiful hotel. The room was amazing for the price and everything was so clean.
Worth the money, very classy place for the couple and the family with kids.
This is one of the hidden Gems in Las Vegas, good prices, great play, awesome spa pricings, great barbers, always have events going on, all good, most are great pricing and some are 100% free. Bowling alley included. Great place where locals go!!!
Lovely atmosphere. We ate late, almost midnight at Sugarcane. They are so good. I couldnt stop eating because it was amazing. The drinks are unique and appropriately strong. ;)
My very first adventure in Vegas and The Venetian did not disappoint! Check-in and check-out was a breeze, the customer service was exceptional, from the hotel to the wait staff, the security was excellent, the room was my favorite color, at the very end of the hall, and had a great view. The things to do were all there and other friends came to my hotel to hang out.
Cannot wait to go back, it was a fabulous experience!
My family and I had a wonderful stay. One exception we had our IPad stolen on the first day. Recommendation for all visitors to make sure you lock up your electronics and valuables.
Love, love, love the ambiance. The concierge was amazing, call them before your stay to make dinner reservation and all the ins and outs of where to go. I love the fact that it's connected to the Palazzo by this beautiful, unique mini mall...has everything you need!
Eat at the Grand Lux, close to the elevators, reasonable price (better than the other restaurants in value). Don't forget to purchase the Go City Pass and you'll have non-stop fun.
Also, a must-do: the Oxygen bar at the entrance of the mall. 50 minutes of pure oxygen and you will feel brand-new.
Do not go to Raw Sugar restaurant- poor quality, high price and Matteos was very salty and high priced.
Met friends in their suite holy c@#p this hotel is luxurious. Next time I'll stay here.
Luxurious and huge. Just experienced the casino and Tao nightclub inside. Tao was definitely one of best danceclubs I ever been to, but it is expensive. I lasted an hour there with 80$. Minimum alcoholic beverage cost was 11$. Casino was beautiful and crowded. Variety of games there. Lost 7$ playing the cheaper video slots. Willing to return.
It is absolutely beautiful! Definitely worth a visit!
Rooms are spacious. We got a good price deal. On Las Vegas strip. Close to many restaurants and shops
Probably the best hotel you can stay at while in Vegas. Rooms are better then you could ever want.
We love the hotel and this is the third time we stay. However, this will be the last time. The staff is very rude and customer service is apparently not one of their priorities. So sad they are losing good customers because of poor staffing.
Great place to stay in Vegas with very attentive staff who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!!
It was awesome... however I was in a huge suite because we were having meetings. The Casino has horrible games compared to all the other casinos
Large lavish suites and an amazing array of restaurants and amenities. The pools and spa are fantastic.
Always a great time. Nice restaurant and lots of fun shopping.
Very clean and suchba cool atmosphere. Love the gondola rides in the "river"! They have both indoor and outdoor options. Also, the shopping is amazing. Fendi, ferragamo, etc.
The hotel feels luxurious, modern and comfy. Excellent services and amenities, and even tho the rooms were a bit uninspiring, everything else was pretty solid. The casino gets pretty sketchy sometimes (for a five star hotel, especially!), compared to other casinos (i.e. with strangers approaching to offer all kinds of services...).
Its a fantastic place to experience the architecture and boat ride.
The place is very big and amazing. There's lots of restaurants and you'll feel like you're in a different place because of the beautiful sky art and displays.
I love the Venetian!!! Something always pulls me back here! It's absolutely gorgeous! Lots of great food and shopping options. Also a bonus is the wax museum, definitely a must see. Lots to see at the venetian before you even enter a casino.
The best vacation resort in Las Vegas. Good location, good services. Shopping, dinning, entertaining, all in one place.
Uber cool!!
It's definitely an architectural marvel more than a casino. The best part was the illusive sky.
Madam Teaseaus wax museum was very interesting and a pleasure to walk through. And at the end we were asked for feedback on how to improve the experience, which tells me that they are looking to expand the experience. Can't wait to come back to Vegas to see how it'll improve.
I always love staying at the Venetian. During these tough times, they made me feel safe, welcomed and that made for a great weekend. I love this property!
WOULDN'T STAY HERE AGAIN!! I SEE WHY THEY HAVE THE FREE NIGHT BECAUSE THIS IS NOT WORTH IT!!
After backpacking through the grand canyon, this was the next stop on our road trip. We had a great time! The rooms were clean, service was incredible. Food could have been better. Would go again.
We were at the Venetian for four nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The rooms are luxurious and clean and huge. Very good customer service. All the restaurants inside the Venetian are excellent. The gondola ride is nice and shops inside the hotel are good. It's connected to Pallazzo and direct walk path to the Wynn too. Location is excellent. Housekeeping could have done a better job though. But nothing too bad. Overall a very good and memorable experience. We will return
All good things to say about this. The rooms are amazing, I stayed in the suite which was even better. The casino in the hotel is good too. Staff are well mannered and their priority is the security of guests first. The hotel has great Venice inspired decor and a recreation of the Venice waterways. They have all the best brands stores. If I have to nitpick, the hotel doesn't have a performance/dance space as Caesar's palace has.
Great hotel in all its splendor and an inside gondola
My favourite hotel by far in Vegas. Didn't stay here this trip but played at the tables and did some shopping.
That was some fun experience. Glad I had experienced something unforgettable moments.
Amazing resort, great location, very clean suites. Staff is professional and helpful.
Soooooo great to stay and have fun on your vacations
Very good hotel . Infact it's a complete destination. Consisting of super luxury stores, theatres, indoor and outdoor lake , two large casinos, numerous number of restaurants , very big parking facility, etc. Location is centrally located on the strip. Lots of tourist attraction very near to this hotel . Prices also reasonable as compared to the service offered.
Free parking Venetian/Palazzo, always has great decor. Big, can get lost inside.
The Venetian is a unique hotel and casino in Vegas ...it has the unique Venice theme in it's shopping shops...with the blue sky and water canal and the gondola...amazing Venice atmosphere....feel like you are in Venice....the gondola price is from 29 to 120 USD per hour... whether it's private or shared...the casino is magnificent...all the hotel has the decorations of Venice and the Italian atmosphere..with paintings and walls ...a should try experience
Well! It s a beautiful hotel and the casino is very clean.
Not like some other casinos that are smelly
Get a feeling of Venice here and don t forget to have some gelatos
We normally go to the illy cafe in Palazzo (next door!)
One of the "must see" in vegas . This one is one of the main attraction in the vegas strip. Huge casino and resort. Beautiful architecture. They have recreated parts of venice and italy inside the casino which really looks beautiful.the casino also is huge and offers all sorts of entertainment. It also has huge variety of shopping stores inside and a good food court as well.stay in Venetian is bit costly ,obviously. Can easily spend hours roaming around inside this magnificent resort.
This pace is gorgeous, clean and amazing. Three are indie and outdoor gondola rides. The sculptures and artwork are incredible. There are tons of paces to shop and eat! Highly recommend!
This is by far the best hotel casino and shopping mall I have ever seen.
Rooms are clean and spacious loved the experience till we got to the pool.
Security and a lifeguard approached us regarding masks, while drinking drinks from the bar that cost 50 dollars, lifeguard said you have to be actively drinking. With straw in mouth. But people are in pool with no mask. Makes no sense. Just think and free your mind. Weak
Good: room was large, comfortable and clean.
Bad: SMOKING. The smoke was inescapable! There was no place on the property where the air was truly smoke free. This is a Vegas problem. The presence of smoke in the air causes flavors of cocktails and food to be off too.
I don't recommend Vegas, but if you must go may as well stay at The Venetian.
Had an amazing time. Service was exceptional, accommodations surpassed expectations. Loved everything about this experience, highly recommend.
One of the best places I've been in Vegas! The canal and all the Venetia scenes are really astonishing!!!
Elegance through out. Great restaurants and shoppes! Must see "Human Nature" ... what a great Motown review and more!
Huge, mastodontic and mega hotel. Not even a hotel, I'd call it almost a shopping mall with a casino embedded in it. Uber zone, shops, coffee shops, restaurants with the slot machines' noise around you. From the outside, it's really beautiful and it really reminds you of the real Venice. Where I stayed, it took me about 8 to 10 minutes to get to the "mall center" which says a lot about the size of the hotel. Plus, I think there about 8 swimming pools and the room I stayed in was amazing!
Awesome setup. Mind boggling indeed. Extremely comfortable but due to the sheer size of the place you end up walking a lot. Get your camera and take pictures. Enjoy the food and the services. Excellent setup for hosting conferences and other programs
The Venetian is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are stunning, and the staff are as friendly as they come. But beware, you will get charges from the mini bar and their food court prices are high even for Last Vegas standards.
WOW!!! my whole family had the time of their lives with this stay cation of ours. lasted a few days but cherished for a life time indeed. thanks everyone for the magnificent service and will be back for more ..
My boyfriend Tom celebrate my birthday go a YouTube Tom and mely aventure
I stayed in the venitian on a one day stopover in the summer I booked a king suite with strip view I was very surprised how beautiful and spacious the suite is
There was a long hallway with a huge bathroom then a king size bed and a sunken In living room withe a table 2 chairs and a couch and loveseat and the window shades are remote control!!!
The staff where very nice and the pools where very nice and also the shops where very nice and fancy
Got to stop here for a delicious breakfast at the Grand lux cafe! There are tons of shops to visit and purchase gifts for loved ones. There was a spill on a tile floor that I notified staff about. They responded quickly and got it marked then cleaned up. Clean and family friendly hotel overall.
Great place to stay with plenty of shops inside. Be warned this is a very large hotel and it's very easy to loose your way.
Great selection of restaurants and also a small food court if you just wanted something quick.
Beautiful and wonderful room, pool, gym, restaurants, casinos, mall outlets, and outside surrounding. It s on the boardwalk near everything. I enjoyed my time and will coming back again soon. The only problem is they don t tell you that the food and drinks items in the room you will have to purchase.
I love the Venetian and Palazzo Hotels. I had the pleasure of staying at the Venetian twice, with my most recent visit being August 2019. Although, most of the hotels/resorts on the Las Vegas Strip offer unforgettable experiences, there is something different about the Venetian/Palazzo. For starters, it is much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. When you first enter the hotel you will be amazed by its beauty and details.
Their suites are lovely. I've only stayed in the Bella Suite, which is a large room with a drop down floor. It has a large bathroom with French doors, double sinks, a vanity table with accessories, a separate toilet room, a glass shower, a separate tub, and a mini TV. The first part of the room, has either a King Bed or two Queen beds with a flat screen TV and dresser. The drop down part of the room features a living room with tv, workspace, and mini dining space. The room also features power controlled shades and drapes. The room is relatively quiet, and the only noise you may hear are loud people moving through the halls.
Outside of the suites, there is a casino (I don't gamble, so I can't comment), a mini food court next to the casino, a larger food court in the Canal Shoppes, multiple restaurants with an array of cuisines, and stores galore. With that said, The Canal Shoppes is the second best part of the hotel. The ceiling is designed to look like the sky, the stores are designed to look like Italian shops, and there is a gondola ride both inside and outside of the shops. Yes, the people do sing while they take you around in the gondolas. There are also a few clubs and bars on location, including TAO. Also, Madame Tussauds is located here.
Going into specifics, there is an array of stores to visit. They range from well known places like Michael Khors, Godiva, Louis Vuitton, etc. to Vegas themed or only places. The food is good both in the restaurants and the food court (not the one by the Casino). If you like rum, you have to try Fat Tuesday.
The staff at the Venetian, from the doormen to the front desks to the housekeeping staff to the shop workers are amazing. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
There are only two downfalls I experienced while here:
One is popular check out days. Most people checkout between Friday and Monday, so during these days, the elevators can backup tremendously. I recommend requesting a later checkout, checking out via the link they send you via email or text, or checking out earlier than the normal checkout time. On a positive note, the line at the front desk does move if you prefer face-to-face checkout. Also, if you have a later flight, the hotel will hold your bags free of charge (just be sure to tip).
The second is that as beautiful as the suites are, they do not offer a refrigerator or microwave. While living without the microwave is doable, a usable refrigerator would be beneficial. Just as a disclaimer, there is a refrigerator in the room BUT it's really a mini bar with sensors that automatically charge your account if you move any items in it. BE CAREFUL of this so you do not accidentally get charged.
Overall, I love the Venetian and it's my choice anytime I travel to Vegas. I would definitely recommend if you want something that offers variety and culture.
Being inside of the Venetian today I noticed they have a lot of staff that is on duty cleaning and desanitizing the casino constantly, really good job by them instead of cutting the cleaning staff like other's are doing during this "pandemic".
We met friends there from out of town to chat. We enjoy the Grand Canal, shops, and trompe l'oeil. We have stayed here at the Venetian in the past as well as the Palazzo - which we liked better for the price.
Amazing mall and performances. Loved dining at grand luxe
Always a fun place to walk around and shop.
Lots of high end stores.
Good people watching.
I went to the Venetian and walked around a bit and then went on the Gondola and actually did not expect to much. The ride was so comfortable and our gondolier was really quite nice. Kimberly Bryant sang to us as we rounded to go back the other direction. Her voice was so powerful she was great. It was so comfortable I believe I'll go back. Just to remind people wear your mask. You're safer by wearing them. We don't enjoy the masks but we wear them to keep every one safe.
