Great Customer Service...UPS accidentally had a mix up with my package and Jaime went above and beyond to help me track it down. Very friendly and helpful!

I have rented a mailbox here for 9 years. Awesome staff, service and peace of mind. Having packages delivered, signed for and safe is SO worth the monthly fee. Since you have an address and NOT a PO box you can have anything delivered here. You get a text message when a package is delivered too.
Not only was I able to re-order my print job quickly and easily online, the team went the extra mile to make sure the finished product looked very professional. THANK you so much!!
Best print shop in Minneapolis! Excellent service, super fast, quality prints, and very good prices! I will never go anywhere else. I discovered this gem about 3 years ago and have never gone anywhere else for large orders. They get the job done in the fraction of the time and price of other shops.
I have two UPS boxes at this location, one for personal usage and one for business. I have a lot of packages sent through here and do quite a few dropoffs each week as well. Judy and her staff are extremely professional and are always a pleasure to work with. They handle issues quickly and efficiently, even when they are really busy (e.g. holiday season). If you are looking to utilize UPS services or open up a postal box, The UPS Store on Hennepin Ave is the place to go!
Always fast service. They answer your phone calls and accept usps packages. So convenient and nice staff but buy your packing supplies elsewhere, I ve never seen higher prices.
Really took care of my insane shipping order. Thanks a million for making it seemless! These folks run a good ship and work fast. A++
7/27-update- with QR code and now amazon's new "no packaging required" on some returns. staff is great. Stores fees are less" per owner than prices quoted by staff person earlier this summer" -for the cost of printing return label and / or using their computers.
Quoted $30 more to ship an item than Fedex a few blocks over. Not overly friendly either.
Been a customer for years. Perfect, friendly efficient service. My go to place. .
Always friendly and efficient. They even squeezed in a rush printing job for me after the FedEx store in town messed up my order for an event. The only place I go anymore for printing/shipping needs.
Very professional and knowledgeable staff, especially Liz and Taylor.
Have had nothing but issues at this store. From notary making errors on paperwork-wrote his commission expiration in the date space- to releasing EXPENSIVE packages without checking ID, to just all around terrible customer service. Arrogant employees whose attitudes leave much to be desired. (Released package without signature today 4-10-19 around 2:30 pm by tall man with long dark hair and beard)
awesome service and super friendly staff, always. really glad this is in the neighborhood.
Do not go here! Horrible horrible service. Not even from just an employee but the OWNER Judy herself. She was extremely impatient, condescending, and rude. However if you would like to ruin your day be sure to stop by there for a simple return and you will surely kill any type of joy you have at the time. Icing on the cake, if you return for the same services the prices magically change in a matter of minutes. They also refuse to give out receipts for returns.
I wish I could give this location 0 stars. We had a custom wooden sign to send to our dear friends and expected it to arrive before their wedding. It took 2-3 MONTHS to get this sign completed. Within 1 hour of delivering this sign to UPS, we get a call that it is broken by one of the workers. We are so disappointed in this location s service. Will not be coming back.
I ve always had a pleasant experience here. Customer service is friendly and patient. It s conveniently located for me and I m grateful it has a parking lot which you can enter via Hennepin Ave just before the 28th st stop light. Service is usually pretty fast too, even when there s a line. Not sure why other people have given it poor reviews... What more can you really expect from a UPS store that you maybe spend 10 min in at max and have a 3 minute interaction with the workers? I also have a friend who used to work for UPS, not sure if it was this location, but they provided some tuition reimbursement which I was really surprised to hear.
Stopped in to get some documents notarized. The lawyer tried to contact the store & notary. Phone/ Email/ Fax attempts to contact them resulted in ZERO response to a lawyer.
By the time I stopped in, the employee who notarized the documents had left the store. Multiple requests for management to help sort out the issue went un-responded too.
MY ADVICE: DO NOT GET ANYTHING NOTARIZED THERE!!!
The guys there were very friendly and helpful. They let me use their computer to access my email and print my shipping label after my USB drive wouldn't recognize. Didn't charge me for the print either.
This is my favorite place for my business needs! Love everyone who works there!!
Awful service! Waited an hour just to pick up a letter, couldn t believe it.
Have used this UPS for a couple printing projects with great success. They helped us design wedding invitations and programs. Designers and managers were helpful and patient. All around great - Thank you very much!
The staff at this UPS store are amazing. Jaime and Julie, thank y'all so much for your help with my move! From staying late on the Sunday when I dragged all my boxes into the store, to helping me track down a few lost packages and safely More
Didn't even try to ring the buzzer to drop off my package. Now I have to go to some grocery store on Nicollet to pick it up even though the UPS store on Hennepin is closer. What the heck
Didn t appreciate the racism, sarcasm, and high level of professionalism...
Dude with a beard was happy to be there. Works for me. I wasn't in the best mood but I left in one because of it. I just like to see people who don't think the world is taking a dump on itself (even thought it is). Keep up the good work bro.
Kicked my girlfriend out of the store for having a legal service animal. Horrible service by even worse customer service
I shipped something internationally, and because of a miss on UPS' part, my package got stuck. It became a major hassle. However, Judy, the owner of this store has been nothing short of amazing. She followed up multiple times with me, reached out to UPS, and talked with me patiently even when I was frustrated. She was not going to stop until the issues were resolved. Most other people would never go this far above and beyond to help a customer. I was impressed with her level of customer service and persistence.
This is going to be my designated store. when things go wrong, you really see who you can rely on. With your shipping needs, you can rely on Judy. :)
Great customer service! Everytime I walk in I'm greeted warmly and they go above and beyond to get packages out as efficiently as possible.
Always friendly staff looking to efficiently tackle each customer (99% of my visits are simply dropping off pre-labeled packages). Printing stuff off their computer/copier is quite expensive, so you should go to the Fedex/Kinkos over by Lunds instead for that sort of thing. Parking lot is nice feature, though it's a bit chaotic at times (quite crammed, seen several bumps and dings of cars backing out of spaces).
Went here to mail a bunch of Christmas presents the week before Christmas. I was honestly dreading going to any store to ship or mail stuff as I assumed it would be an awful horrible time and that the employees would be overworked, and therefore unpleasant. Boy, was I wrong! There were quite a few customers in the store, but the three employees working were efficient, pleasant, and quite humorous. The gentleman that helped me, made quick work of my three outgoing packages and purchase of stamps. He was kind, thorough, and quick with the jokes, which made my experience that much better. Love this place, it s in walking distance of my home with great customer service to boot!
Went to this location for a simple print job (that FedEx refused because they were too busy to print a resume). The staff was polite, friendly, fast, and managed to help about 10 other customers in the span of the 10-15 minutes I was there.
I went to ship a package and had to get my label printed by showing a UPS barcode. The manager first directed me to the self-service computer, which I had to pay to use, but then he realized that all he had to do was to scan the barcode I had in my phone. This mistake is understandable but he said he wasn't able to give me a refund. UPS employees, like everybody else, make mistakes, so the company should allow for refunds. At least the manager said I could get free printing next time I need to print something. Hopefully he keeps his word.
Employees have always been professional and friendly, even when I went this hectic week of Xmas. Helpful and fast, much appreciated!
Went in to get two documents notarized, despite many attempts I could not get anyone to help with certifying the notary for the courts. Don't bother asking them for that service, or to talk to management!!
Quick, efficient, & courteous. If someone is that POed about having to print something/having to pay for it, run to the library a FREAKIN BLOCK AWAY AND PRINT IT YOURSELF. If you think a business can run just by charging 25-50 cents per transaction, you must be living in the 1920s. Good day to you all & keep doing your thing UPS Uptown.
Amazing staff. Especially Jaimie and Judy! Perfect location. Everyone is very helpful, professional and caring. They provide Mailboxes to rent, items to purchase for personal daily business use, stamps to mail products, and even printing items out. I recommend this location to everyone else. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate all the fast professional help that you gave to me and the general public while running packaging errands around town ...
Each time I've been here, the service has been horrid. I needed to mail an item to a friend, when the staff told me the price, I started asking if there were options to reduce the price. Instead the staff refused to help, criticizing and belittling me when I pointed out other options, instead of justifying why the packaging is what it is. When I went again to print off a coupon, the staff zoomed in on the picture, printed it, then handed it off to me saying "That's just how the image is", then charged me for it. The final time I went in to get something printed off a flash drive, when I showed the staff it was on a flash drive, they pointed me to the computer and told me "There's the computer, print it yourself". Going to this UPS is a waste of time and money.
Brought extremely important letter early on a Wednesday, I got in trouble because they didn't send it until the next day when I'd been assured it would go out that Wednesday
For years this UPS store has had the BEST employee's. They are always friendly and helpful. I have never had any negative issues here. LOVE IT!
A staff member was rude and dismissive when I tried to drop off a package for an Amazon return. I couldn t get in a full sentence before he shut me down, and when I asked if he knew of another location that might be open, all he said was I don t know and walked away. Hesitant to come back if this is the level of courtesy shown to customers.
***AVOID DROPPING OFF PACKAGES HERE***
Dropped off a USPS return on 12/27. I had a bad feeling when the employee I dropped off the package with said "You should take a picture of the box, because we don't give receipts." 1 week later it is still not scanned. I called to speak with a manager who insisted that the package was picked up & gave no help or solution.
update 1/13: after a couple weeks it looks like it was finally scanned. I would still avoid dropping off packages here, I didn't realize it would take that long, so that's my bad!
All I wanted was ups to resend a package they failed to deliver but I kept getting handed a phone number that lead me to a bot that didnt give me an option for a re delivery when I called a second time asking if there was a person I could contact I overheard the person on the phone say "Is there a number I can give this guy so he stops calling me" (Only called twice and only because the number didnt work) he then give me another bot number that didnt have an option to help my problem. Super unprofessional behavior its literally his job to answer the phone and answer questions
The most ridiculous, uninformed, and just plain rudest Customer service representative works here (Martinez.P or Martin. P): with such unprofessionalism I have no clue how he could be the manager. Couldn t help me with the simplest of tasks, returning an item by getting it shipped out with the label in hand. Had to take my business elsewhere. if I were you, I d suggest you do that And save yourself the time. The owners Judy or Steve should be doing something about this!
I don t blame you for being closed on Sunday and New Year s Eve to boot. Totally fine. I do blame you for saying you re open on your website though. I called 5 Times too, at least make it part of your message. I drove 40 minutes to get here. Jerks.
Never again. I should have read the reviews on this place before using their services. I paid for overnight shipping, and was only advised on the price, which I was willing to pay since I needed the package the next day.
4 days later the package had not been scanned into it s destination city. Calling UPS Customer service was not helpful and I was directed back to this store to air my grievances. When I went back to the store I was met with an impatient employee that told me it was not their fault. Another employee defused the situation and gave me a business card and asked me to direct my concerns to the owner Judy Longbottom. After speaking with her, the best she could do was trace the package.
The package finally arrived a week later, and when I asked to make a complaint I was directed back to the store, who at this point said it not her problem. Not only does UPS not get your package anywhere on time, but they have failed with regards to customer service. After a series of emails, Judy Longbottom has still not taken ownership for her company s mistakes, and like the rest of the company continues to point fingers in the other direction.
DO NOT use this store or any other UPS store for any reason. You will only be left angry, and short the money you spent. Guess I was lucky UPS found the package under the sorting machine. I only know this because one person at the distribution center had the courage to tell me.
Finally, Judy feel free to not respond if your response is going to be anything like the back handed responses you usually give.
Have been using this location for months now, getting in many packages a day. The staff is SO nice, always a friendly greeting when I walk in. They care about getting to know frequent customers! Signing up for a box was made very easy by the owner and getting my packages is always a breeze.
After dicussing a transaction with a store in Paris--we had agreed on an exchange of a belt; I paid UPS over a $100.00 to ship the belt back to Paris. When the belt arrived in Paris, they refused to accept it for "duties or taxes due". I was lead to believe by USP staff that all International forms had been completed prior to sending. This case is pending, but I believe that this well not end well---that the original belt will not be returned to me, and that I will certainly be out the 100.00 I paid to ship it. When UPS called to inform me that the belt wasn't being accepted, he told me it was my responsibility from here on out. This is not my first bad experience with UPS.
Great place - very helpful people and willing to work with you to ensure you get exactly what you need.
Not friendly at all...very expensive. Charged me $3.48($3 for using computer) for printing 3 pages while Roseville store charged me $0.45(just for paper and printing).
Tried to charge me $5.36 to make a copy and email it to myself, so I went to the downtown one and they charged $0.25, kinda fishy.
I'm just now finding a chance to write a review about this HORRIBLE store. Back in October of 2012, I took my wedding ring to the store to get shipped to my jeweler to be fixed. I worked with some boy at the desk that helped me choose the package size and what I should put it in. I left the store and never thought I would never see my 3 carat wedding ring ever again. I checked the tracking for 10 days and never heard anything from UPS. Finally after never receiving any notice, called UPS and they informed me that my package never left the store. I'm a quiet, non hostile person and at the time probably didn't stress enough how much I want this back. This was something very dear to my heart. UPS ended up cutting me a check, but I still feel the need to know who took my package and where it ended up because I would like it back. It makes me sick to know that some broad is probably wearing my stolen wedding ring.
Absolute worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure to recieve. Not only did the staff member Jamie twice assure me that they had rerouted my package correctly, but they were completely and utterly unable to help me at all when I called and learned that they hadn t actually rerouted correctly. After finally getting their managers number she was of minimal help to me since she was sure that I was the intended receiver but gave no more help in getting it sent to me correctly. Because of this I have to wait an additional TWO WEEKS to recieve a package that was costed $66 to spend. Avoid at all costs.
Horrible treatment from management. I have a box at this location for 5 years now. The last big ticket item I had delivered there was lost. The item cost me $5,700 and the manager told me not to worry about the lost package because they offer $100 reimbursement for packages that the store looses. I decided to have big purchases shipped elsewhere for my company. The manager (Judy) was irate that I contacted UPS directly and filed a claim for my lost package that showed signed for by UPS Store but was not at the UPS Store. She went off on me on the phone for it. Today, I go in at 1:30pm to pick up my mail and there were no packages waiting for me. I then drive 30 minutes home and see an email in my inbox telling me that there was a package waiting for me. The timestamp for the email was 12:15pm, an hour before going there to get my mail. Before heading back down there, I called to make sure there was actually a package waiting for me. I just called to make sure the box was there before driving in the snow. Judy jumps on the phone, starts talking over me, getting hostile and blaming all of the store's mistakes on other customers. She claims customers take advantage of their small space in the store. I'm guessing since customers pay for a box at the location and the ability to receive packages there leads to customers wanting to utilize the service they pay for. I asked Judy why she seems more upset about the package than I am, and I'm the one inconvenienced. She got even more upset, swore at me and hung up. I went to the store to pickup my package and quietly asked an employee for Judy's boss' name and number. Judy overheard me asking, abruptly abandoned the customer she was helping and then interrupted my conversation to start yelling at me again. I told her that if she apologized and moved on instead of yelling at customers and making more of a mountain than needed to be made than the issue would go away on it's own. She continued to over talk me, was very disrespectful and made a fool of herself in front of a store full of customers and employees, all while she blamed me. She claims to have owned the location for over 20 years, which doesn't really change anything, especially considering 5 years ago when I rented the box, someone else owned the store. While Judy, the manager or owner was having her meltdown, an other employee stepped in and tried to defuse the situation. He is far more professional and has much more customer service skills than the woman throwing her tantrum was. As he tried to calm the situation, Judy, a middle aged woman that claims to own the store stood there and made childish faces and continued to provoke the situation and escalate things. If I hadn't witnessed this behavior a year ago when they lost my package, I would have assumed she was just having a bad day. But meeting this woman twice in 5 years and seeing her disrespect paying customers surely led to me calling the corporate office and filing a formal complaint. I have tipped the staff at this location in previous years for the holidays, but chose to stop tipping them last year due to their manager's hotheadedness.
