There are only three in the world that maintain the building, in addition to the stands. 100% recommendable. Listen to the audio guide information and you will find out better. Take your time. This place is not visited in a hurry.

Of course this theater is beautiful ... but I do not understand why at the entrance we remove the caps on the bottles ... which may seem normal but what seems abnormal is that inside a Gar goes into the aisles and sells bottles with caps one night while we were lined up an employee ordered us to eat all the food before going back ... which seems normal too ... but that she was not my surprise when I saw people disembarking with food bags .... tray of fries ... and more .... what's that? It is the spirit of Provence ?????

Great theater very well preserved, the theatrical visits are superb! The only negative point noted is the escape game which is more like a treasure hunt, the rules and purpose of which are not very well explained.

Came on a Sunday. It was very, too calm.
Nice but very short virtual tour ( 5 for 10 minutes including installation ...)
Audio guidance well done although could be improved (except the numbers to follow: no information, no visuals or other ... Must listen and focus!)

The view from the garden / park overlooking the theater is magnificent. Too bad it is damn badly indicated .... If I had to do it again I would start there.

Truly unique, interesting, well preserved and well managed. The theatre is also still used for stage productions. We were even allowed to take our dog in with us just not into the museum itself.

A journey through time with the ancient theater of Orange. I recommend visiting with the headphones (free and disinfected by the hostesses). A must in the region. Allow 1h30 to discover all its facets, especially the belvedere which offers a striking view of the city and the theater.

The entrance fee I find for 9.50 'too expensive. The theater is not very big either. You can see it, if you visit the place. but I would not go there anymore. But it is also a matter of opinion.

2000 years of history before the eyes .. impressive, beautiful restoration of the building, quite easy to access and audio guide sufficient for the visit. Require identity paper for audio guide loan.By cons, in case of heat and sun, cruel lack of possibility of buying fresh drink inside the site, especially when we went up the stairs .. to note also a only toilet at the entrance.

show roberto alagna very disappointing. zero organization. row 36 did not exist, forced to wait 1/2 hour standing before being placed elsewhere. Fortunately that the singers and the bass were there, the delivery alagna nonexistent..It has been issued seats numbered
at 86 one and there is no numbering on the stands that we were
awarded!

An efficient team of organizers led by paulin reynard. The shows are highlighted thanks to the framework and a beautiful programming.
The icing on the cake: the choregies create extraordinary educational projects.

Most impressive Roman theater I have ever seen, you really have to see this with your own eyes. It is the only theater where the scene wall has been preserved. This wall is 103 meters high and 37 meters wide, really immense.

You get an audio tour in Dutch and you walk a route through the theater with a lot of information. Very nice to listen to.

Well worth the money !!

Few hiccups. The lady at the desk thought our 3 year old son was too young for an audio tour and he didn't get a box. Had no children himself, such a toddler of course does not like that he gets nothing. We received an extra cupboard through another lady. They want an identity card as a deposit for the locker.

It is truly a magnificent place and to tell yourself that thousands of spectators from different eras sat on these same bleachers, to project yourself in the memory that these old stones whisper in your ear when you take possession of your seat. . It's magic. I saw verdi's opera there, Aida. I loved the staging, the fabulous performance of the artists (who had a lot of merit because there was a lot of wind), the very history of the work that takes place in ancient Egypt ... This ancient theater only increases the pleasure and gives an even greater dimension to the spectacle. I had an unforgettable time there ...

Wonderful visit, excellent value as it includes the museum across the road. It would have been helpful if the lady selling the ticket had told us to visit the theatre first and then cross the road for the museum. We stumbled across it by accident. Restaurant in the theatre grounds was good value for money too.
