I've only been to the Tin Cow twice and I was never impressed. The first time I went I was expecting a great experience since I had heard such great things about the restaurant. My friends and I ordered our burgers and patiently waited for them to arrive. It took a little while for us to get our burgers, but they were busy and we understood. When we finally got our burgers all three orders were messed up We didn't mention anything to the waitress because we had already waited a long time for our food and the restaurant was very busy. I blew it off as a one-time thing and expected that I would have a better experience next time. I went back months and months later with a friend and the restaurant definitely wasn't as busy as my first visit. We both made our orders and when our food arrived I had the wrong toppings... again. If you went to a restaurant that you've heard AMAZING things about and got your order messed up each time you went, would you have a desire to ever go back? Because at this point there was no way they could win me over. I get it if it happens once in a while. People make mistakes. But it happened to me the only two times I went there. If this is a regular thing that occurs at the Tin Cow then something needs to be fixed. I don't want to have to correct my order. Why can't it be right the first time? The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere isn't enough to make me want to return. They lost my business.

Worth the wait...on Gallery Night downtown Pensicola. Food came fast as ordered. Very good. Great atmosphere. Service was quick and efficient. They seem to have a a lot of waitresses on staff this particular night. Prices very reasonable. 4 guest $50.00 (before tip). Been to Pensicola on several occasions. Best meal yet...

This food & price range compares to Burgatory with more topping options. The beer menu was pretty cool and lots of selection. Around $5/6 for a canned beer. My review is based on our waitress. She completely disappeared after she served our appetizers. She was not even the one to serve us our food. We had no refills on water, I wanted to try another beer, and we were waiting on a box & check. We kept looking around and trying to just stop anyone that worked there at this point. Finally the bartender helped us. It was not busy in the restaurant. I'm unsure what happened but it ruined our experience & our first time trying this restaurant.

Nasty. Cleanliness was horrible, when server was asked to please wash his hands (we saw him touching his face, hair, etc..) he got defensive and said it's hot in here. Yes it was hot in there that's what they make rags, sweatbands, bandannas. Not wipe your sweat off on my food

Tin Cow is a cool concept for a burger restaurant. I had a bad experience with the food last time I came but I wanted to give it another chance. I went last Tue and the food was cold again, I had good service until I noticed my server doing other duties and taking tables all over the restaurant he was a great server if he didn't have so much to take care of when there is a bartender that had two people at the bar and the poor server was busting his butt. I wanted to ask the bartender but he was on the phone (cell phone) and didn't want to interrupt him. This is the second time I've been there and the food has been cold and servers seemed over worked!! Here is a good idea Tin Cow replace your kitchen and stop giving your servers too many task and or table sections so costumer can get better service. I won't be back.

Service was decent. Great place to create your own burger with many different options. Fries are cut in house and fried which makes a huge difference and they were delicious. Great place to go if you are wanting a burger!

Tin Cow has the best burgers ever! There is such a variety of burger choice and toppings the combinations are endless. It is family friendly, has a full service bar and has the vest milkshakes in town. The food is consistently very good.

Update: Against my better judgment, we met some friends at The Tin Cow last week. Literally, the worst service and food imaginable. As stated in the review below, despite many open tables, we were seated on the left hand side, close to the back, in nearly one of the last tables along the wall. Almost every server was hanging out at a table, just inside the entrance to the kitchen and were visible to everyone in the back section of the restaurant. Our server was clearly in a terrible mood. On two separate occasions, we had to ask someone to find her. The first time we had someone find her, she came out from the kitchen, chewing, wiped her hands on her shorts and seemed annoyed. The second time she came to the table, she said, "you need something?" I'm not kidding ... those were her exact words.

I almost threw a fit, but my daughter begged me not to say something or make a scene.

First it took FOREVER for the order to come out and by forever, we mean 40 minutes. There were only 4 of us.

Two of the burgers were cold and red in the center despite being ordered as, "medium" when we asked that they be cooked a bit more we were told, "well, they'll have to be remade." Which we were told would take about 20 min. We just asked for the check and left. No, we were not given a credit for the undercooked burgers. The bill was nearly $85.

I cannot ever imagine going back. Frankly, I cannot imagine they'll be in business much longer at this rate.

Originally posted on 2/10/17 w/ 3 stars ... Food quality has GREATLY diminished over the past few months, but thought we'd give the restaurant another try despite average at best food when we dined there in January. I mean, everyone has an off day occasionally. So ... My daughter, her best friend, and I were there this past Saturday (2/10/17) at 3 in the afternoon. Very few patrons in the restaurant, but we were seated in the back, at the very last table, near the kitchen, "because that was the section that was open." The entire front section, overlooking Palafox was completely empty, but we were seated in the VERY BACK, by the kitchen ... strike one ...

Not only were the fries cold and the burgers semi warm & relatively tasteless, but seeing how the wait staff hangs out at the kitchen area was gross. No guest should witness that ...
And while the service was fine (not great, not good, simply fine), but the food was simply not worth the $58 bill (includes tip) - no drinks - just burgers, fries, and sweet tea, yes & the bill was $58. Anyway, I doubt very seriously if we'll be back.

I've been to the Tin Cow multiple times now, why I keep going back I'll never known. I Wan to love them, I really do. But it's way too hit or miss for me to come back again.

There are a fee things that have remains consistent though, so I'll start there. If they are even remotely busy, forget about eating here. It's not worth a 45 to an hour wait, and it's so loud you can't hear anything over the roar. If they have live music, sit outside. That place is definitely not big enough for way they have the live music set up. You can't hear a single thing with it going on, and it's never especially good music.

Then comes the service. It is absolutely, hands down the worst service I've ever had in any establishment I've ever been too. EVERY SINGLE TIME. The wait staff seems like they are all incredibly unhappy, overworked or just down right unpleasant. I've actually heard servers arguing over duties before. I've also had more than one occasion where my server has complained to me about co-workers! How unprofessional is that? I enjoy a good conversation and exchange between guest and server, but I'm here to enjoy a meal with my friends or family, not listen to you vent about your problems. That's what YOUR friends are for. And this has happened TWICE! It speaks volumes about an establishment that has such an unhappy staff in my opinion.

Now to the food. The spiked milkshakes are absolutely amazing, and I have zero complaints there. Everytime I've ordered one it has taken just as long as everything else, so that hasn't been an issue for us. The friescsre just kind of okay. They arent crispy crunchy fries, but tends to lean on the mkre dense, usially overly greasy side. Ive never been a fan. The hand cut chips are very good though! But the burgers are very hit or miss. Some days they are spot on and they knock it out of the park, other days they are small, like warm, and flavorless. I've also been briught thecwrong order a time or two. A topping left off here, an extra something I didn't order there. Its all pretty shifty. For around 20 dollars a meal, I've decided it's not a gamble I care to take anymore.

Nice burger spot. Hit it midday for the turkey club burger (personal fav, know I m weird) but looks like they probably rock at night too. Sweet menu, lots of options, BYOBurger menu is huge. Local brews on draft a plus.

Food was great but service was not. Had a shift change in the middle of our dinner. First server was rude and unprofessional, but the second girl tried really hard to make up. We waited 25 minutes just to get our check though. Definitely need to tighten up.

You won t find a better place to grab a burger. You get to build your own burger, from the bun up. You get to pick the kind of meat you want and all the toppings you want. The environment is really fun, wether you re there for lunch or dinner. The staff is so sweet and kind. Their fries are amazing , they are located right down town so you can park and walk all day just exploring. They always have good music playing and the big games on TV. The vibe of the whole place is wonderful. I love the Tin Cow and I tell everyone I know that s going to Pensacola, to go to the Tin Cow.

Although a little slow, the food is great. 1 of the best burger spots I've been to and I've been to A LOT! The different topping you can get on your burger is endless. Shakes are awesome. Would definitely go back when in the area.

Service was unorganized, we had 3 different servers and didn't know which one was in charge of our table. They were slow at ordering our food and forgot our appetizer after being reminded twice. The food was mediocre, nothing special. I was looking forward to trying a new place but they under delivered. Maybe it was an off night but I'll give this place another try soon

The service was fantastic, very energy positive place, milkshakes were amazing. Just wish they had a little more alcohol in the adult shakes - big shake for a shot of alcohol. Mary Grace was very attentive!

I was very unimpressed. I suppose one could order the bison burger or the American Kobe but I didn't. I just got the Angus, and it was just a pre-formed patty. Rather flavorless, a little underdone (but not a big deal), but mostly just boring and very very "meh" ... My son ordered the bison and said it was fine. My girlfriend's bison was somehow half medium, half cold and bloody.
Overall, waaaaay too expensive for a dry, pre-formed patty.
2 stars because it is a neat idea: a completely customizable burger, and there are lots of options, although it's mostly just different types of flavored mayo (sorry... "Aioli"... Ridiculous hipster-food-network-watchers foolishness, it's just mayo with garlic salt), as well as the American Kobe or bison. There were a couple of vegetarian patties but if you're vegetarian this seems like a place you would avoid altogether. Vegan? Idk, but doubtful.
Lastly, I can't tell you with certainty but I think all the meat is frozen, so again, too expensive... Hell, even Wendy's doesn't use frozen pucks o'meat.
I've had much better burgers at my local steak n shake. We won't return, but each to their own, and maybe we just had a bad lunchtime cook or something. Just so you know, it's $9.99 for just a burger on a bun, and everything is additional cost.

My favorite restaurant. I love the burgers & different protein options from Angus to bison to salmon & crab cakes. Healthy sides available, and burgers are available bunless on greens or with choice of bun, sauce & side. My 11 year old loves this place too. Great kids menu & shakes available too.

Impossible burger was good but afterwards you can taste the grease from grill. Kinda defeats the purpose of the impossible burger health wise. Service went way down hill since our first visit. Employees clearly don't give a darn.

Service was wonderful very knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Food took a little time to come out but that's a small price you pay for good food. I really enjoyed this place and will be back for more burgers

This is an excellent spot to bring picky eaters. Their main option is build-your-own burgers with a few speciality burgers, as well. Very extensive alcohol menu and helpful servers. I heard the server next to us say they were out of a couple menu items, but nothing major and guests were told up front. We went on a Saturday night and did not have to wait. The surrounding area has a lot of cool bars and shops to visit afterward.

It's been a long time since I've had Tin Cow. Unfortunately it didnt live up to the memory I had. The burger was okay and the fries were almost as good as I remember.
I don't know when or if I'll be back. But if I do I'll be sure to update this. Hopefully it was just an off day.

One of the best burgers in Pensacola, and possibly the best casual restaurant on Palafox. Come for the perfectly cooked burgers, stay for the huge variety of delicious adult shakes. The ordering process is easy and quick, too. Even when I've come as part of a huge party (10+) when the restaurant was packed, the service and food quality was great!

Wonderful hamburger options, I would classify as gormet. Really a lot of food, and likely a good idea to eat half, and bring the rest home. Priciest hamburger and soda I ever had, I paid about$20 with tip. But it was worth a try. Nice waitstaff.

Even though the waitress forgot to put in our order, and we were waiting there for 45 minutes for food...I m giving it 4 stars. The food was good when it did come. But, most importantly, management made things right when the error was realized. The waitress was just having a bad day I guess. I ll try it again if I m in the area.
