Johnny Sumara Review of The Tin Cow Restaurant

I was very unimpressed. I suppose one could order the bison burger or the American Kobe but I didn't. I just got the Angus, and it was just a pre-formed patty. Rather flavorless, a little underdone (but not a big deal), but mostly just boring and very very "meh" ... My son ordered the bison and said it was fine. My girlfriend's bison was somehow half medium, half cold and bloody.
Overall, waaaaay too expensive for a dry, pre-formed patty.
2 stars because it is a neat idea: a completely customizable burger, and there are lots of options, although it's mostly just different types of flavored mayo (sorry... "Aioli"... Ridiculous hipster-food-network-watchers foolishness, it's just mayo with garlic salt), as well as the American Kobe or bison. There were a couple of vegetarian patties but if you're vegetarian this seems like a place you would avoid altogether. Vegan? Idk, but doubtful.
Lastly, I can't tell you with certainty but I think all the meat is frozen, so again, too expensive... Hell, even Wendy's doesn't use frozen pucks o'meat.
I've had much better burgers at my local steak n shake. We won't return, but each to their own, and maybe we just had a bad lunchtime cook or something. Just so you know, it's $9.99 for just a burger on a bun, and everything is additional cost.
