Hostess took my name and number and then forgot about us. When I asked her how much longer she doubled our wait time. Did not apologize for forgetting us and just looked away. Bad service

Fantastic food- burgers are quite amazing and pretty cheap. Will cook them exactly as you say, even extremely rare. Their other entrees and sandwiches are great, too, but it's impossible to top that burger. Great home-brewed beers, too. Cool, laid-back atmosphere. Service leaves a little to be desires, but this hardly affects a restaurant of this type.
Tasting was really cheap. We tasted the beer and realized why. Haven't had the food
One of my favorite burger/beer joints in town. If you are looking for a tasty burger with good in house beer, then this is a great place for you!
cool place but was expecting a slightly better beer menu
Always a pleasure had a wonderful evening with my lady friend hope other people go here and have a similar experience
Everything from the atmosphere, to the beer to the food was delicious. Make sure you try out the stout cake! It was ridiculously awesome, and priced wonderfully. Will be back next time I'm in town!
Amazing food, amazing service. Pizza and burgers that can only be described as off the chains
Pretty cool atmosphere. A little dive bar-ish mixed with an old pub feel. Nice beer selection and delicious apps! The rest of the menu looked good as well. Very decently priced!
Food..delicious! We had the bbq chicken pizza and the macho man. Corey/Cory was an excellent server making great recommendations to some out-of-towners. Good atmosphere and good prices. Check em out!
Pretty awesome here! Locals are so welcoming and friendly. Great beer and food!
This building has really interesting architecture and is between Main Street and the old Choochoo building in a great location for the Southside. Nice atmosphere, love the beer selections, service always friendly. I had their Uncle Salmon Salad - very nice.
The pot roast nachos were delicious. Service was very fast even though the restaurant was busy. They have a constantly changing menu of local beers on tap.
Every single menu was filthy, place was dark with a funky odor. Not for the upper class.
This was my favorite place in Chattanooga! We went there for every event and I recommended it to everyone. I ve noticed over the last year the service and food quality starting to slip. This last time we took the whole family and in laws. My husband had to go get a waiter after 30minutes. The food was ok. After we left the waitress apparently wasn t satisfied with her %20 tip and proceeded to scream at us from the building as we were crossing the street. It was one of the most mortifying situations of my life and I will never be returning!
Great all around restaurant I'm the the jeart of Southside next to the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. Great for a date, a birthday, and they are one of the few places with a beautiful upstairs patio.
This is my second home, love this place. The best bartenders around!
It was only ok. I'm thankful there was a vegetarian option, but needs more variety in that option.
Very friendly atmosphere, great service and good food and drink!
Decent food. Staff is great. Need to fix the A/C condensation issues. Had water dripping on our table/seats the whole time.
I asked for some hot sauce it was awesome. Great burger n fries but, the hot sauce, I'd buy a bottle if I new what it was! Service was great!
Very tasty burgers and sandwiches. Also really good pizza and apps. Solid beer selection. Well worth the visit.
Great atmosphere and innovative menu. We had the Plowman's Lunch, which is a huge appetizer plate of cheeses, sausages and breads. It was delicious, but tempered our hunger for dinner entrees. We shared the Yosemite Salmon Cakes and a salad, which were perfect. A very nice restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere, lots of locals, excellent service, a good selection of locally brewed beers and a short walk from our hotel.
The mushroom soup is the bomb! Rich, filling and delicious. Bowl sized is more than enough for a stand alone lunch
It's been a while since we were here. My 3 year old kid still remembers the plowman's lunch that carefully modified to provide a good variety of mild cheeses, crackers, and fruit. I recall the quality service, blend of beer, the atmosphere, and nice shops nearby. I plan to come back when coming through this area.
Absolutely amazing food! Try the Philosopher Burger... It's insane!
Friendly community place
Friendly folks
Always a great visit for us Uber eats drivers, food is always ready to go, great friendly staff
Had oatmeal stout, lamb burger with side of beans all excellent
Great food, and great locally-brewed beers. Very close to several popular hotels, and next door to the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
Walking distance to a city bus hub, so you can always catch a ride to/from other parts of town.
If you go, try the Pizza Egg Rolls. They're fantastic, and pair well with the Copper Ale.
We love the atomsphere, food, and of course the beer!!
Not very good and menus are sticky don't think they are sanitizing definitely not the menus.
I eat here at least once every time I'm in Chattanooga. Food and service is always great.
A unique and comfortable bar, good spot for an afternoon ipa
Our server memorized our picky orders and got them all perfect, that was pretty neat.
Very good food, kids choices were good too. Maybe I'm just a coastal elite but this place was wicked cheap. Two adults, two kids, adults each had a beer and the total was $36.
Charming atmosphere, delicious food and very kind waitstaff.
I like to visit each time I m in town. The only downside is no easy parking.
Absolutely love the food and environment here. The pot roast nachos are wonderful!
The attention is wonderful and the food also has to come to this place everything is delicious !!!!! I love the place
Great Local Brewpub. Great food and a good selection of beers made in-house.
Great salmon cakes! Kids loved their bowl of cheesy nachos.
Service could be improved. Never has been a strong feature for them.
The food always smells so good when I walk in but you can't it all so you have to choose for yourself. Try some delicious libations as well.
Terminal has great food and great drinks! I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal here!
Cannot believe this is so highly rated. Service was very poor and our appetizer was burnt and tasted awful. I ordered the veggie lasagna and it had no pasta in it and the sauce was disgusting. My friend didn't like her meal either. Definitely wouldn't go back!
Great atmosphere and experience! The names of the food items are a little quirky but it gives the restaurant all the more charm! Definitely will have to go back to try out more of the brews!
We made sure to come an hour before they close, but we were still abruptly reminded of when the kitchen closes, feeling rushed. The feta basil olive oil spread bread was amazing! I had the beer sampler flight which contained some strong and perfume-y beers if you like that.
The pizza here is delicious. My favorite is The Rugged Individualist.
Terminal Brewhouse is a really awesome stop. It reminds me of what eating in an old inn's pub must have actually felt like - appropriate, because it was once a hotel for the nearby Chattanooga Choo Choo.
They have a pretty hearty American fare, and the Pizza Pie Rolls are to die for. :)
Best place in Chattanooga hands down. Top notch staff
Impressive beer in an impressive building. We didn t have food but sampled several of their brews. The Dead Sexy Scottish Ale was outstanding and better than a Bass Ale. Several other ales very pleasing on the palate. Great location in the center of the historic district. A must stop for beer lovers.
Great food, especially the burger. Beer selection was also good. Can highly recommend the Terminally Ale. Magnum PA a little too bitter in the aftertaste for me. Only drawback was our server. He was polite and friendly, which is great, but messed up a few times. Never mind. I'd still recommend the place.
Don't ask questions there if you're new and from out of town, you will get smartass responses from the hostess and waiter. Nice enough bartender but the IPA was nothing special.
Got some drinks and the pot roast nachos! Amazing service was great nice atmosphere.
Great food and great beer! Really enjoyed the outdoor seating upstairs!
Great staff. Only had drinks and pizza rolls they were good
My boyfriend and I were in the area visiting. Decided to stop in since it had been recommended by an employee of another shop we visited. He ordered the Philosopher s burger. It was overcooked and dry. The burger was plain and nothing special about it. I ordered the club. We both ordered the Freedom Fries and were hoping for something that made them different from regular fries. We were disappointed. Maybe if they took the garlic feta aioli that s on the burger and put some on the fries it would be amazing. It was to us when we used it as a dipping sauce.
We love this place! Everything form the atmosphere, food and beer! great place to eat but it gets packed very quickly and sometimes hard to find a table.
Great beer and great staff; menu is somewhat limited, but everything is good.
Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Best lamb burger I've ever had. (Yes, I've tried a few.)
A flight of 7 craft beers was $7. That's about as cheap of a sampler as I've ever seen. The witbier, stout, and scottish ale were my favorites. Both of the bartenders were nice and helpful to us giving suggestions for dinner. I really like the layout of the space as well. It's just a block from the south shuttle station, so drink up.
Excellent spin on salmon cakes. Nice variety of whiskey.
HORRIBLE managment and service. WAITED 1.5 hrs FOR FOR OUR CHECK & DIDNT EVER GET FOOD.
Example: a group of about twenty of us waited at our table for roughly 20 minutes before even being acknowledged, and other 15 min before anyone to got a single water.
To make matters worse, after completing the meal, and waiting a normal amount of time, we asked our waitress for the bill. That was at approximately 8pm. No one received their check until 8:45pm. 45 min of just waiting and continually asking for the reminder that we needed our check! After delivering our check, our waitress returned our cards to the group after another 30 minutes. We didn t leave the restaurant until 9:45....
On top of all of this, one of the members of our group didn t even ge this food. He asked the waitress if the Restaurant would comp his meal after waiting 2 1/2 hrs and she said sorry, idk, just had a lot of tables . He then went to find a manager, a process of which took roughly 15min. When finally speaking with said manager and explaining the situation of having never received his mean for 2 1/2 hrs...the manager said okay so what do you want... he said he wanted his meal for free. Then the manager said sorry, it ll take a while to make your meal now, and then went and handed him the closest thing he could see lying in the kitchen and gave him an semi-warm small pizza and said here.
This review doesn t do the lack of care and mind boggling ignorance of customer service experienced at The Terminal Brewhause the Justice It deserves. Rest assured, neither myself any of the other 19 guests with me will be dining at the Terminal again. FIRE your managers. FIRE your servers if they don t serve.
