My father has been a residence of The Teddington since June 2017. He absolutely loves it here! He speaks very highly of the staff and residence. The transition from having my father discharged from Sunnybrook hospital to Teddington was smooth, easy, flexible, professional and organized. All the front of the house staff, food and beverage staff, chef, nurses, PSW have made my father feel welcomed and at home. This definitely made things stress free for our family and knowing that my father would be in the best care. I personally love the boutique feel of this residence and everyone is so friendly. The property is well maintained, clean and a hidden gem! I've toured many retirement homes in the neighbour hood and the Teddington was hands down the best one. The location is perfect and especially being in the Lawrence Park area where my father lived for most of his life. I honestly have no complaints, only compliments!
It's a small place which makes it a more home-like retirement residence. It's a little less polished than some places, perhaps, but my Dad received very attentive care and there was a genuine community on his floor.
