The South Harbour Resort Reviews

All I can say is WOW!! The resort is absolutely beautiful. It sits right in the marina so is surrounded by water and was so peaceful. Every member of the staff was kind and respectful. Every time I walked by I was asked how I was doing, how my stay was going, and if they could assist me with anything. You could tell they really care and want their guests to have a pleasant stay and experience. I ordered dinner from the Opus Bistro and Steakhouse. The resort isn t doing room service at the moment due to covid precautions but it was easy and quick to call down to the restaurant, place my order and pick it up 20 minutes later to bring back to my room. For breakfast I chose to go with the buffet, the resort also offers a menu selection, and everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. My final night there was a fireworks show, I m not sure what for, but it was very cool to stand out on the balcony and watch the display from across the water. I also loved being able to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set over the water each day of my trip. I absolutely cannot recommend the South Shore Harbour Resort highly enough. Kind, caring, and courteous staff, beautiful setting, large comfortable rooms with perfect beds for a restful night sleep, delicious food to enjoy for every meal, and although I didn t partake the pool is also absolutely beautiful. This resort is THE resort to book in League City! I cannot wait for my next vacation so I can stay again!

First time I am ever writing a review about a place. Daisy at the front desk was amazing! She was very helpful, and changed my room for a room with a deck with no hassle or anything. Beautiful place, very clean I will recommend this place to all my friends, love to return again!

I was invited to a group party for mother's day and had the best time. The party boat was awesome. The pool area was clean and spacious. The view from the room was awesome seeing the boats parked. Shower water pressure was awesome. The bed was comfortable. I loved it.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had such a wonderful time and stay.......until we tried to enjoy the pool area! We sat on some very relaxing beach chairs by the pool and watched the wait staff walk by and offer everyone around us help. We were not. Now mind you, we paid for a week's stay. While waiting, we did bring some environmently, non breakable cups (metal cups, not naming the brand) to the pool to relax. We were told that those particular metal cups were not allowed int the pool area but we would have to purchase the drinks from plastic cups at the pool bar (while the used plastic cups by other patrons were floating in the pool). Needless to say, I will not be staying at this establishment ever again and will tell everyone I know to do the same!

Beware the AC is controlled by the hotel no matter what temp you change the thermostat to it will only be at 75 degrees during the day and 71 at night time this was confirmed by the hotel staff I was hot all night long the ac sounds so loud, toilet leak all night. Nowadays Covid blame for lack of providing good service the food is horrible Opus restaurant food is overpriced and bland! don t waste your money coming to this hotel

Overall not a bad stay. Pros: view from our room was amazing. Comfortable beds. Rooms nicely done. Pool is beautiful!
Cons: the website said they had free cribs and infants and when we got there they said they haven't had for 4 months. I requested 2 rooms and due to them being " behind" they didn't have 2 clean rooms next to each other so we had to be separated on different floors ... it was myself, my spouse, infant and 17 yo daughter and her friend so I wasn't happy about my 2 teenagers being on a completely different floor. Bathrooms could use an upgrade and our balcony wasn't cleaned... when we got there there was lighters outside and some nasty cup filled with a drink and cigarette buds. Walls are thin. Heard the man next to us snoring at night

Horrible rooms. Just take a look at this! The mold is terrible.... don't come here!!!

We spent 4 days at this resort for a convention. Upon arrival our room was not ready, we walked to the Paradise restaurant for overpriced "bar food" that we waited 45 minutes to arrive. The buffet served at our final night of the conference just as bad. The McDonald's down the street was far superior for breakfast the following morning.....and I very rarely eat fast food.
However, Brian the bellhop was by far the friendliest member of the staff that we interaction during our stay. No complaints about the room besides the horrible A/C.

Christopher @ front desk has great customer service on the phone. We are booked for June 2021 and he gave us a great experience just over the phone. Can t wait till or vacation. Thanks

Today is check out day, and I have to say from the time we checked until now has been an AMAZING experience. The people at the front are friendly and pool bar is awesome and the restaurant is even better the room was clean plenty of towels, great views everything was just perfect!! We are DEFINITELY coming back!!! Also I was struggling with booking but Mr Michael made it easy I called like a thousand times lol.. This is a great vacation spot
