I don't wanna give it a bed rep due to my own grudges, I was just overwhelmingly let down at more of a mental stance, My mom spoke of it before but I blew it off as nothing, but It was a missed opportunity, I'm fifteen and can't sign up, it hurt me when I had a chance to meet amazing people and blew it off and I won't be able to have it again, Long story short I got blew off for not meeting age requirements and having no friends or people to go to when I wanna run away is a huge anchor on my life. I'm sure this community does great things, I'm just hurt because I missed out on it.
Just spoke with a staff member from BBBS about their need for more Big Brothers and Sisters because their program is in such high demand. I recommend this organization both to anyone with a child in need of some outside mentorship or to someone wanting to provide it.
