Used to love this place but the last few times I've been the quality of food has not been so good.

Food OK, no real atmosphere for a Friday night. Only our group in.

Not too bad. We had a banquet for a family birthday. The starters were very nice. All very hot and crispy. The duck was good too. The mains were okay, if heavy on the sauce. Not bad, just not too my personal taste. Staff were friendly.

We've tried various Asian takeaways. Not only did this have the best taste but it was still hot (really hot) when I got it home.

We have dined in and used the take away service too. Always had good food and friendly attentive polite service at the Sleepy Panda. Richard at front of house greets you with a warm welcome. The restaurant is kept clean & tidy and the adjoining customer carpark is very handy too, we will be back

Food is good but on a few occasions have experianced poor customer service from the more senior staff members and unnecessary delays when food has been pre-ordered.

Nom! This is probably my only regret of leaving Wrexham. I miss Sleepy Panda and wish they had moved when I moved!

I don't know how to explain our experience.
It's has been many years since our last visit, and it will be many more before we visit again.
Very poor service.
Food was thrown at the table not served,
They are unable to cook Steak as this is what my daughter wanted, it was sent back as it was over cooked, medium rare was requested, and boot leather came both times.
Rice was good, but who can mess up rice in a rice cooker.
Don't recommend as a night out for food. Local takeaway is better.

Disappointing yet again. Not eaten from there si ce Xmas. Thought it would have improved. So I gave it another go. Should not have bothered it's still poor takeaway food and well overpriced.

Had take away tonight crispy lamb and beef curry and fried rice meal was atrocious would not recommend a take away from here meal had three peas four slices of onion on mushrooms and no sauce now in food bin

Food was lovely as always. Staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

Good food, but too many young waiters who keep asking how everything is. We got asked 7 times how our food was. Lovely food however.

Come here about 5 times a year lovely place, great food and definitely would recormend.

Bit annoyed at my greeting! As I said my name the man instantly replied "you're early"! In a not so polite manner. I was exactly 7 minutes early! OMG! And I'm not a child so don't speak to me like one in front of other customers please! The same man took a phone call order and he was shaking his head and huffing at the caller and trying to get a reaction from the customers in the restaurant, very professional! But I may add he was exceptionally helpful and polite to a young lady who arrived for her order.
And my order was 10 minutes late to add insult and be equally petty!
Anyway! , food was average, crispy beef not so crispy and fried rice was enemic. The crispy duck was nice!

Overall very nice take-away. We had seafood soup, prawn toast and prawn wontons for our starter. Very nice, wontons were particularly tasty! Then duck pancakes which was also lovely. Had crispy chilli beef and duck in black bean sauce for our mains. Chilli beef was excellent. Only reason I didn't give a 5/5 is because the duck had quite a bit of fat on it. But overall very nice meal.

Sometimes can have a long queue but I love the food there and the staff have always been friendly.

Without doubt the best Chinese restaurant and takeaway in North Wales. Fantastic service and great food. Can't recommend highly enough.

Popped in early time ..... service really good... food piping hot.. portions size just right and all veg lovely and freshly cooked... nicest chinese i have had for a long time.. will definitely come again...

Food was very good. Location is OK. However staffing on the day was not OK. We had to endure a constant stream of waiters/waitresses asking us how the meal was. Difficult to answer with food in your mouth. We had not even finished when one of the waitresses tried to remove the plates from our table. Everything felt rushed and did not enjoy the experience one bit.

Great food. Good service. Bit slow tonight but it was very busy.

Fantastic food every time. Very quick service. Prices are not cheap, but this is a reflection of how good the food is.

Omg me and my boyfriend came and the food is impeccable. 100% recommend and they staff are amazing and lovely. Will come again

A VERY LONG WAIT
Placed an order for takeaway at 6.30PM and given a pickup time of 8.20PM, I then had to wait until 9PM before it was ready. Very little in the way of an apology for it being so late too.
Yes the food was nice, but it being 40 minutes late, and luke warm at best really doesnt make the grade. Quite pricey too considering.

Over priced and really not very nice food definetley would never return.

Quality food and a Reasonable price, Decor is starting to look a little dated however.

Not too nice, however the staff are great, service is nice, the seating is slightly poor and you may feel a bit squished at times, however I'm not a fan of Chinese food.

Not sure what to make of this place. Attended with friends. No where on their site does it say we have to reserve. They weren't to happy that we hadn't reserved. Our service was rushed, expected to finish by 7pm. There seemed to be people hoovering around our table as if to say time was up. Not very child friendly either with no menu to cater for the young ones. Anyway we just made it, however looking back we should have left the second we were asked if we had reserved rather than endure an overpriced & poorly serviced place. One star for an OK food & another for a clean washroom. There are no baby changing facilities.

Food is brilliant, beer a bit hit and miss but the wine is great value for money!!

Decor is getting a bit tired, but the food is still great, that along with the friendly staff makes for a great night.

Great food but noticed one of the Asian staff pushing the staff about and shouting at them, class it as bullying myself

We had an excellent chinese meal last night. The meal was but more expensive than your average chinese but well worth it for the quality. Staff were also friendly. Maybe update the decor?

Really tasty food - staff are friendly - slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. We had a banquet for 2 and added on soup

I hadn't been to the Sleepy Panda in years, so wanted to pop back for my birthday to see if it was as good as it used to be. We weren't disappointed! The restaurant looks lovely and fresh, the staff are as wonderful and friendly as they always were, and the food was absolutely delicious! The portions were very generous, and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be back soon!

Absolutely disgusting. Food had gone down hill since last year

Terrible chicken chow mein, watery and runny, basically no chicken, but a surprisingly huge amount of mushrooms!

I make certain to visit every time I am in Wrexham. A real delight.

Expensive but lovely friendly atmosphere with outstanding customer service, we went there recently to meet our good friends and the function room is such a great idea. I do feel the staff may think i am a little crazy though asking about what pram they choose lol, still stand with my 20% off prams @ bumptobabyprams

Beautiful food and good service but there is one lady that i have found rushes to you a bit so you leave table as soon as poss.

Not as good as used to be. Waitress was rather unhappy and displayed this taking our order. No tip left today
