They are ok. My biggest complaint is that they mail out your mortgage payment late every month. For example, its September 25 and my mortgage payment is due October 1st. Wheres my bill? I called. It was supposedly sent out on the 10th. Highly unlikely. So here I am at 4am writing out a check to send to them in an envelope I addressed myself and hopefully it makes it to them. My last mortgage company had my bill to me 5 weeks in advance. Not sure whats going on

Their website is glitchy at times, they keep paying our homeowners insurance late. I have to call every year to tell them to pay our insurance and this is not my job. They are nice and polite on the phone, but it takes multiple calls and transfers to get anything accomplished. If I have to call over my insurance next year, I will be making a change.

Hands down the worst mortgage company ever. Brian Olson was the loan rep for the person buying our house. We turned in a contract in Nov before thanksgiving and was asked for an extentsion in Dec. due to a "miscommunication" between Brian and some other rep that works there. 4 deadlines later here we are in Feb. with a " desk reveiw" saying the appraisal that was done isnt in line even though it was 20k above contract price. Then I'm told from the buyer that their "desk review" appraisal from some company who didnt even go in the house is 55k less. This company should be sued for deceptive trade practices. Extremely worthless imo. Use a different company

If you are looking for a quick turn around this is not the company for you. Although they were very upfront about a 45 day closing. It was still disappointing especially when we are asked to turn in documents that was a RIGHT NOW approach. Which we did in a very timely manner but that was not reciprocated on the other end. Our loan stayed in underwriting for almost 3 weeks and had not even been assigned an underwriter until days before. The people that purchased our home closed in 21 days so there are lenders that are quite faster even during COVID-19. If you're looking for Southern Charm when speaking to people this again is NOT your lender. The only reason we went with this lender is this is who our Credit Union uses and we had a great experience with the previous mortgage company (colonial mortgage) through the CU. The day we went to closing they had funded early that day so no one was waiting on their money so instead of 2 stars, I give them 3.

Switched to Servion in April 2019 and all has been GREAT - unless you happen to get a call from them. The "customer service" I received was rude and unprofessional, and I actually got hung up on by Theresa when I was asking a question about my mortgage. I called back to speak with a supervisor and, conveniently, got put on hold, sent to a voicemail of someone named Evette, and never heard back.

This company's customer service has been a joke from the beginning of our loan process. I have had two previous mortgages alone in my name from other mortgage companies. This is the first time I am doing it with this company and I am doing a mutual mortgage loan. From the beginning, we have been sent incorrect paperwork, our questions have not been answered, we have been expected to sign paperwork within an hour of receiving it and not being able to get ahold of anyone to explain what the paperwork is referring to. Our closing date got pushed back TWICE due to Servion not getting their work done in a timely manner AT ALL, and I just found out I am no longer on the loan even though myself and my partner signed everything because someone once again didn't do their job. We will be switching mortgage companies as soon as we can. I have never left a bad review before, but I just am at a loss of how stressful and ridiculous this process has been. A monkey could do a better job.

Worst experience with this company. Every month our mortgage is a different number and the due date is months behind and they try to make you pay a late fee even though it's their computer error. If you try for weeks you'll eventually get someone on the phone who will promise it will be fixed by the next morning but it never is. For months we've been dealing with this headache and we're seriously considering refinancing through a different bank just to get away from this mortgage servicer. Ask your bank who they use to service mortgages and if it's this company don't use them.
